After finding a few others from this series, I thought I knew what to look for. A lot of spots at the GZ match the hint no wandered around for quite a while but decided to leave empty handed. TFTH
Found the cache upside down and full of water. Currently waiting for the bits of paper to dry a little bit, though won't be able to stay untill they are all dry.
Quickish find.

This hide quacked me up. For some reason there is a large boat in a paddock nearby I don't know why. TFTC
Quick pickup on the way through. Good to change a blue face yellow. TFTC scruffyblake.
Found with Sophiescout, Jemalong & midgi_ ; no log present but we wrote up on our own paper and have placed inside the cache. Tftc
Found with Aussiepuschaks, Jemalong&family and midgi_ after a day spent at the special children’s Christmas party with scouting, TFTC
Found container out in the open about 10m from GZ with no log. Replaced container at GZ, sorry didn’t bring replacement log with me.
Another great cache and bigger than expected too. Plenty of croaking evident on approach (which wasn't evident later when I actually found Croak!). And a couple of live ducks spotted on the pond after I returned to the roadside too. After initially being distracted by a nearby pile of rocks I then spotted the actual cache nearby. TFTC - another fav point added.
Cache #66
On the way there was about 5 dead Roos so if you don’t like dead animals take a detour from around the building. TFTC

An early morning start to grab a few caches with TikvaNZ before he had to head to an appointment at 0830. Then a quick trip home to meet up with Fox in Jox for a couple of multis around Belconnen. A busy start to the day on a gorgeous Saturday!
This cache: my GPS lead me astray, but the hide was obvious once I put my head up!
Thanks scruffyblake for the cache and the fun!

Again Scruffyblake this hide, like the others in this series, was well thought out and fun to find.
Any muggle newbies, i will bring to this series to give them a good idea as to how much fun this awesome hooby can be.
Gets a Fav from me.

I have to say I really enjoyed this series. Each container was special in its own way (though a couple were missing other than a bison).
I had to come to Hume to drop off something at the Post Express point and had over an hour to kill, which worked out just perfectly.
Some of these were harder than others to get to, involving climbing fences that all look rather newish.
This had swum a little, but the rock I put on top should keep him around

Sadly we just couldn't find this one today despite expanding our search zone. We will be back.

Day 7: Clear Waters Mega Trip
Took up DarksideDan’s Facebook offer of a caching adventure. I was keen to escape the in-laws for a bit and what better way then a drive and collecting a few caches. Managed to clean up all this little series which were all quite cute. I especially liked prickly

I had a little bit of time before training today so decided to fill it in by finding some caches. TFTC
A quick find. Cute cache. I came out on this sweltering day to tick off a few caches in a suburb I need for the mapping challenge. Tftc.
Found with Lucky Cricket and Little Cricket, a great cache. there were lots of ducklings on the lake today. TFTC
Enjoyed the container, and again felt uneasy at needing to cross a fence to get near it. We were approaching from the highway. TFTC!
What a great and lucky afternoon Dino and I had. We had planned to do the Tralee Trail today as we had an inspection in the motor vehicle station. They had a new service so did the regio right there, wow great safes an extra teip. We did some caches before during and after found all cache which were really well done and also found a snake right at the Snail cache! Which was cool. On the last one we spotted an Echidna! And when we were just done with all that, pops up a new cache just around the corner from where we were and we got the FTF. Definitely a horseshoe... today
Thank you scruffyblake for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Thanks once again for another great cache. I think this is about #7 on your trail. And once again, a favourite point. Cheers.
Decided to go out and grab some caches to help get closer to my 3000th milestone before we fly out to UK and Spain to attend the 10th Anniversary UK event and this little trail was perfect and just loved the variety of caches tftc scruffyblake
Ok ... I had a middle of the day appointment to donate blood (school holidays so not at work and had figured while I was down this way I might see if I could find a heap of caches so I was closer to getting that last hidden creatures souvenir, so ... after donating blood, and staying for my milkshake and coffee, I headed south, stopping at a few caches along the way.
Then I stopped at the end of Mugga Lane for a few more, then decided to park and find a few just a bit further down the road ... by which time it had somehow got dark. Then I decided to grab the others down that road and head down that way, along the highway, to do what I could of some of the trails around Richardson or somewhere that I had originally planned to do, but I saw a spot to park just around the corner as I turned on to the highway, and decided to do a couple of the Tralee trail caches first ... and ended up looking for them all - wandering around in the frost and enjoying myself - lol
Then I decided it was probably time I went home and had some (rather late) dinner, but as I was driving North I decided to make a detour to grab a couple caches I wanted to get up in Watson, and ended up looking for a few there ... ending the evening with not finding one (3rd strike for the day - I guess I am out?) at about Midnight ... then I went home and had a couple of pies for (very late!) dinner
TFTC - Ok... Last one for here ... probably last for the night [later: no - it wasn't - lol], seeing it is now 10pm and I have not had dinner!
This one was about 300m along the road in front of where i was parked, but there is a spot right behind my car where I may be able to reverse back about 10m and do a sneaky youey over to the side of the road that goes toward home, so i decided to walk along to here... glad I did... driving along here is Skippy roulette. .. although it may have been me walking that spooked a few and sent them hopping along/over the road - how none of them got hit by the traffic that was screaming along here I will never know ...
And the cache... figured I must be about at GZ and spotted the likely spot before I even checked my phone to see .. Yes, there was the cache. .. and inside the cool camo, with the cache - is a redback spider... which didn't want to be evicted (and probably would have just found its way back in there even if i had been able to shake it out)
And I have to say - even though it was cold and dark, and I was alone - This patch of geocaches has definitely been fun ...

I made a quick find here today after doing some work nearby in Hume. I will have to finish off the series next time I’m back in the ACT, thanks.
Although night had fallen I kept on with hunting down the caches in this series. This was was reasonably straightforward and as others have said, it was the SPOR that helped me to locate this quacky creature. No swaps in this cache, so I added some. Onwards into the night for more caches!
Quack Quack.
Found it after searching in the wrong spots for a while, soon spotted the very obvious SPOR and had the cute camo in hand. I have seen this camo before back in my early days of caching, I believe there is one almost identical in Gungahlin near my house!
Thanks for another unique cache scruffyblake!

How’d you get in there little creature! We took our leave as it was trying to rain. TFTC
A quick search, a suspicious pile and soon the hiding cache was in hand. Another great hide, thanks!
4th find for the day. We parked nearby and walked to GZ. An easy find once there. TFTC.
#1619. 13 days in a row.
I headed out after work to grab a few more caches to bump up my points, having noticed that there was a cluster of them around here.
The light was failing by the time I got to this one, but I still found it in short order. I grabbed the trackables in order to take them to Sydney with me later this week.

### Easter trip 2018 ###
----------
We've planed a trip to Jindabyne this year.
To get there, we took the inland route via Canberra where we've stayed for one night. We've then continued on to Jindabyne and have stopped at many interesting locations on the way there.
We've walkes up to the summit of
Mt Kosciusko on Easter Saturday. We've taken the main range walk up to the summit of 26km total distance. Great challenging hike past the blue lake and many other little mountain lakes.
The view up there was magnificent.
Back in Jindabyne, we've walked around the lake and have visited the sculptures near the lake.
We took the coastal route for the way home back to Sydney staying in Batemans Bay for the night.
We've stopped at many interesting locations and have visited some caches along the way as well
Thank you to all the owners for showing us the places

Spring is definitely the time of the year for the cache guardian to be hatching! Log signed.
Quick cache for the day on the way home from doing the markets. Tired and racing the darkness to get home, but happy now TFTC

This has to be easiest one of the whole series. Easy parking nearby at this time of night. Left a TB with this as I think it suits the area and has been with me for some time. Great series, but have to leave the last couple for another time. Tftc!!!
