I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi TheWanglers
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

As previously mentioned in logs container is very rusty and no longer waterproof; TFTC
Used the waterproof paper Jude_E left behind, this cache is quite rusty. Not bad for 5 years in the environments though! Cheers
Cache was a quick find by Girl Power team of Busy Paws, Coconuts3, Jude_E and lytteltonwitch.
Very interesting series love the tins. Not sure of order we found them in but signed ourselves as Girl Power which is made up of Busy Paws, Coconuts3, Jude_E and lytteltonwitch. Very fun series this one thanks TheWanglers and Team Gaters
Cache corroding badly and not waterproof. Rusty. Needs replacing but have left waterproof paper. Thanks for the hide. I think I may have finished this series now.
Found on a great day out with 3 lovely ladies, we called ourselves Girl power on logging. Lytteltonwich,Jude_E, 3Coconuts and Busy paws. This cache container disintegrated on removal - -totally rusted, CO will need to have a look we think. TFTH
#6241. I decided to drive north today to visit Waikari to do the old cache near the Moa hunter rock art to fill another hole in the NZ Jasmer Challenge. While driving back I noticed my GPS was no longer functioning. I had dropped it in mud earlier in the day and washed it off at the Waikari rest rooms. But clearly the GPS is no longer waterproof as the screen was now full of moisture and the GPS was not picking up any signals. So changed over to my smartphone app and used this get me to Glentui. I had to search blind for the old letterbox cache as I had a non-functioning GPS and the mobile had run out of juice soon after arriving. Amazingly I managed to find the old cache with just the hint as my guide.
I sat in the car thinking my caching day was now over but changed the batteries in my GPS as one last option. Amazingly after three attempts at starting up the GPS picked up a signal again and displayed the map. But the screen just had a tiny clear patch in the centre. So had to virtually drive down the road on the GPS map to find this cache. Then headed off to find it in reality. Was very pleased to find this cache with the tools in such a poor working state. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks TheWanglers for hiding it here.

We were in Christchurch for a few days to help one of my sisters celebrate a significant birthday. With the celebrations over we were heading for home with the plan of finding a few caches along the way.
Neither of us have been along this road before, so it was great to be able to have a bit of time to explore the area courtesy of the cache owners who have placed caches that enable us to stop and have a look around.
Gk found this one and soon had signed the log and returned it as he had found it. I would have loved to have found this series before the tins rusted, as they hold loads of memories for us.
Thank you for placing the cache and of course thank you for the smilie.

Heading home after a walk around Glentui Bush we thought we'd grab this one.
The cache was a quick find but the tin is totally rusted. Managed to scrawl something onto the log book. TFTC.

Heading home after an awesome 3 days hiking the mt Thomas tracks staying at bobs biv and pinchgut hut would be rude not to grab a few p&g's after all that walking.
Container has seen better days could do with a replacement.. Log soaked tftc

Quick easy find on our way home from lunch in Oxford and a run around at the Ashley Gorge reserve. Thanks for placing and maintaining the cache.
Jess.daphne and I decided to go on another caching mission in order to get 50 caches to get the final Hidden Creature souvenir. I also wanted to take my new car on her maiden caching mission. We all had a fantastic day in the sunshine and howling wind, getting dusty and windswept; team Jeje riding in Gigi.
This poor little guy was too rusty and wet to sign. I've taken a pic if the CO would like proof that we found it. TFTC.

Found today with injeanious, we got around 50 caches today in order to find all of the hidden creatures. We didn't sign the log here, Jean did take a picture as it was very wet and rusty.
This was our first visit to the South Island and I'd assembled quite a list of caches to get. This one was picked up while passing through and I've still got a lot of driving to do so can't linger too long. The cache was found quickly thanks to accurate coords and straight forward hint but is well rusted. Cheers The Wranglers, TFTC
#15189. Back on the main road after a side trip to Glentui. Quick find here. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalker on a jaunt to Oxford, Ashley Gorge and Glentui, mopping up a few caches in the area.
Today, most of the caches were either instant finds or they took a while to track down. Fortunately, this was in the former category. TFTC.

Visiting from Brisbane with Slow Puncture for the Oamaru Geofest, and we're seeing all the wonderful sights the South Island has to offer as we travel along. Day 5: An early start as we ventured out of Christchurch in a big loop hunting challenges, solved GeoArt, and older caches. We were stunned by the beautiful views of the Alps across the farmland of Canterbury Plains.
Thanks for the hunt **TheWanglers and Team_Gaters**, this find makes #4399. Discover our TB

Tuesday. Slow Puncture has teamed up with Orange Crew to make a Moreton Bay assault on the Oamaru Geofest. Day Five saw us take a large loop out from Christchurch, West towards the snow-capped mountains, before returning and doing some urban caching within Christchurch itself.
This was the 62nd of 71 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***TheWanglers***, for showing us this place.

Log book is a tad wet so can't sign but very cool collection of pictures of tins
20 Geocaches in One Day. My biggest day caching ever. I wanted a good leg-stretch so I climbed Mt Thomas up the summit track and came down the Wooded Gully track, finding pretty much every cache along the way. Cool breeze. Nice views from the top through patchy cloud. Lovely bush on the way down. Found a few more on the drive home to make up 20. Cheers to every cache owner for placing and maintaining these.

Tin obviously not waterproof. Very rusty. Very wet. Could not sign. Fingers now Orange.
I found a few of these when I was in the area about 9 months ago . I'm staying at the nearby camping ground and decided to grab this one while passing. Log is soaked.

A beautiful day, and a baby that needed to be sleeping, so I decided to head off for a drive to try get her off to sleep, and find some caches too. Multi tasking!! - Leaving the house is easier to get her to sleep - either by walking with her or driving, so perfect excuse to give hubby for all my caching now! Haha!
Managed to get 17 in the end - not too bad! Most were pretty easy too! Plus baby had 2 sleeps! A 45 min one, and then slept the whole way home from the last cache, and is still sleeping as I'm doing the logging! Whooo!
Nice n Quick.
TFTC!!

Found after a picnic and walk at the glentui bush. Just as well it was a quick find as were being eaten by sandflies. Tftc
A hide that is more like the tinkers I remember. Good parking across the road, and a quick find sign and returm. Cheers.
Ahh a cooler day for caching today, especially in the shade of the bush.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

Another quick park and grab with the cache easily spotted before even leaving the truck.
After taking TEF Jnr MKI out for his first night camping at the Mt Thomas Conservation Area we decided to grab a few caches on our way home. This was our second grab, it didn't take long to track this one down.
The little man made a trade here, a crocodile for a pink dinosaur that was in the cahce.
We signed the log on 30 December 2015 at 11:52:00

On a bit of a clean up mission, picking up some horses we missed a couple of days ago. The Chief has his eye on a challenge cache and this cache was on the way. The hedge out in flower all along here was beautiful. TFTC
A true Mohican in more than one sense!! I would not have though someone still owns these... TFTC!!!

Find #8 on the Tinker Trail. A few more today and then hoping to get the rest tomorrow.
Enjoying the series. Someone must have had a good clean out of the shed!

#2 of the tinker series found during today's road trip out to Oxford. Thanks for the cache.
Another fascinating container, easily found . This series added much to our circuit drive today. Thanks
Today's road trip started out west of the city, first cache found at Charing Cross, then Darfield, Oxford, Glentui and Loburn, as well as a couple of gorges thrown in there for good measure, and back home just on dark. 4 DNFs for the day, 29 finds. TFTC (1537)
6519. We were out for an afternnon's geocaching with granddaughter Stella (9) - login name now Starza. The cache was spied by Stella as we pulled up. It is good when they are spied as you pull over. At least this one hasn't been muggled! The next four in a row were all missing! Thanks for the cache. Love this series. Rodney and Iris.
Found this cache while out geocaching with Grandma and Poppa (Sallies). I have been geocaching with them since I was a baby.Poppa let me find it so that I could log it as a find, now that I am an official geocacher myself. This was a very easy find because we could see it from the car, and I had my tramping stick to use to reach the container. (Poppa put it back up) Poppa is going to go back through all his thousands of cache finds and find out which ones I am able to claim as found! Stella.
Making our way to CHCH, took the scenic route to this trail. Very nicely placed and was a pleasure to do, many thanks

I apologize for the EXTREMELY late log. 5th and last day of our End of Year caching trip. Last night we stayed at furpurse's house in ChCh and today we are heading home via the Travelling Tinkers powertrail. Most were quick easy P&G's as they were seen from the cache as we pulled up but some were lying on the ground so we put them back where the had come from. Thanks for the powertrail
Had a yummy Christmas lunch then thought we would go off and find some caches. 36 caches later and 3.5 hours gone we are back home
Lovely day for a drive
Merry Christmas!

Today was road trip Swananoa, Cust, Oxford and then Ashley Gorge. Who else would I go with but BBear44? Thanks for hiding your caches along this area. I [:X] caching in country areas seeing the sheep and lambs, ducks and ducklings and curious cows. It was a great day out. I found so many caches I decided cutting and pasting is easier and it is still better than tftc.
