After a great day yesterday riding from Linville to find the final of the UP the BVRT multi i had a great night sleep staying in Yarraman. I left my husband this morning to ride from Yarraman to Blackbutt finding 8 caches along the way ,20kms in just over 2 hours. There were lots of cows on the trail today and i had to slow down to not scare them too much. Had a great ride and I ended up meeting my husband at Blackbutt for breakfast. What a great day to be a geocacher.I ended up finding out that the scare tape on the top of my helmet really does work a wonder. A couple of magpies started to swoop but quickly flew back to their tree. This cache was a quick find thanks to the hint in a nice camping place. Thanks Purple Ninja 00 for all the fun
What a lovely peaceful spot by the river. Easy find. Two logs. Otherwise in reasonable condition. TFTC
Found during a day on the rail trail with Peppa and Davinells. Thanks for the cache Purple_Ninja_00
Beardman75, Peppa and I set out to complete another section of the BVRT today. JDavs was once again our awesome support crew but this time she had the company of a muggle friend, soon to be converted cacher. We started in Toogoolawah and headed upin more ways than oneaiming to get as far as we could peddle until we couldnt peddle anymoremaybe if some of us had touring modeOur last find of the day and a nice quick one to finish off. I was driving from north Brisbane to Nanango to visit family and made a plan of 10 caches on the way up and 10 on the way back. Enough to keep me satisfied, but not too many to keep the kids whinging. My plan didn't go too well. On the way up, rain, too many dnfs slowing us down and a new puppy that apparently gets carsick. On the way back...lets just say a little turmoil had my car on for 3 hours, charging his precious phone. Flat battery. A delayed wait for RACQ and the inability to turn the car off on the way home to give it a good charge, resulted in no caching on the way home. So 5/20 that day. This was a quick find and one that I really need. I have a first to find on a cache in Cunnamulla that I still need some campfire attributes for. This has been a long 2.5 year project! One down. Still many to go. Thanks for helping me on my way.
Very overgrown but not too hard to find, especially with the clue. The log was a little wet with some water that had found its way inside. May need a new container or plastic bag to help protect better from heavy rain
It’s happening, it’s finally happening! Alyce and I are going places and grabbing caches while on our way to QOGM.
Our day started early in Caboolture South and with the car packed and a list of caches dialled in we were on our way. We made our way along the Dag’ Highway to Blackbutt and Yarraman then down the New England Highway grabbing a few caches in the vicinity than arriving at the Warrego and taking that all the way to Morven while stopping at several places in between. Unfortunately we had to leave it at that due to fading light and made our way to Augathella for the night.
What an adventure! The places you visit and the experiences you have is something else.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Wow the vines have completed taken over the area, but the flowers are incredibly pretty. Good coords and hint helped us be confident of the find, just had to use some muscle to pull back the plants. Caches is no longer smash lunchbox but a small systema. TFTC
Found it this time, not so many campers. The invasive wine has really taken over, cache will soon be ungettable. TFTC

Muggle65, Brislions, Mama Bear, The Cubs, and I set out in the dark to collect Camping Nearby attributes today. I was definitely looking in all the wrong places but Brislions made the rather wet find. Thank you for the fun
Out with Bris, & the M& her Cubs, our intent is to wrestle a for the September Challenge. After checked what was available to us (more so me) we made plans and today we all started once again at sparrows to commence a long day racing about like crazy cachers.
Our motorcade rolled into the GZ with a number of campers & campers about, we made our way to the GZ and managed a semi-stealthy hunt found our quarry & off we went to our final cache for the day.

Found after a lengthy search whilst on a very non direct route to QOGM - Charleville 2022. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Purple_Ninja_00

Found this cache under a LOT of vine.
Plenty of water over the track, too much to take the scooter.

Our 3rd DNF for the day We will just have to come back again sometime to find these well hidden caches!
We pulled up at the park on our ambling drive home from holidays and certainly found a great water view. After quickly finding the cache as it was pretty much a park and grab the way we positioned the car to shield us, as described safe in its spot, I joined J down at the creek. Lovely reflective views along this nice peaceful waterway.
We walked around further and admired the old rail bridge too. Would be a bit rough for the bicycles across this causeway though.

I’ve come up here to try and qualify for a crazy Challenge Cache in Cunnamulla… Forward planning, I’m driving Le’Devine, so hopefully no busted tyres today…
Having left home at 6am this is my first stop… It helps with a Challenge, just not the one I’m concentrating on…
A couple of vans parked up here didn’t seem to be bothered by me…. It was the Roosters (I’m reliably informed that they’re not chickens) that got my attention…
Quick find of the cache and I was on my way…

This was such a nice spot, i stopped for breakfast.
A nice respite from the rail trail, which literally crosses this park, making it more inviting to passerbys. Not just motorists but cyclists and walkers too.
Thanks purple_ninja_00 for hiding a cache here.
Do people swim here in summer?

Day 5 of 10 – Benarkin to Yarraman – BVRT Complete - Cache 4. What a great area. It was a nice quick find for us. Excited to be almost at the end of day 5 and accomplishing so much – Walkuraka to Yarraman. Half of our journey almost completed. TFTC.
After a different serious adventure nearby this one was literally a walk in the park. Thankyou.

Sunday. On our way back home now and there were 5 of us getting up close and personal in 1Minniemoo’s car. With 1Minniemoo at the helm we pulled up close to this one. Popped my name in the log, but as it turns out, we’ve already got this smiley, so it is a re-visit by SP today.
We had visited here before, so just stopping in to log some TB visits.

Stopped by here on the way to Yarraman. A nice easy find - and as per the cache name, had a lovely water view! Many thanks Purple Ninja 00 for placing this cache for our enjoyment - all is well with the cache container and the log.
So many great places in this region to take your caravan. Will have to come back again soon. TFTC Purple_Ninja_00
Easy find with geohubby. Grass is currently very green and long but the water is very green and low.
155km on the mtn bike since starting at Kilkivan. Quick rest here before starting our final climb up to Googa. Hv been past this one a few times, but hv either not had time, or there’s been too many muggles.
Today was the day. Quick, easy find
Log book will need replacing soon.

Quick find here then we pondered the reason for the cages. Thanks for the cache
Been a popular swimming hole for years. Cache out in open . Back in hide.
A quick find thanks to the hint, which was good because this area is also used as a toilet. Water level in the river was low due to the season and the water hole covered by azolla water weed, which looked somewhat surreal. TFTC.
10:38:00 AM. We have passed this cache before but today we were heading in the right dirrection and made the turn in. Found the cache but no log. Grabbed a sheet of paper as a replacement and signed it. Some pig had used the tree as a toilet spot a few inches from the cache. Thanks for the cache Purple_Ninja_00
A quick stop here on the way from Kingaroy to Brisbane to break the drive and stretch our legs. I spotted the likely tree and headed across to investigate. Sure enough, there was a cache waiting to be found. Tftc Purple_Ninja_00
Stomped around the long grass but only found an interesting array of bugs, no cache.
Quick find. Not fussed on long grass in summer but stomped around to make noise so any snakes would disappear. We hoped. TFTC. SL
Out and about for my birthday and decided to grab this one on our way. Sorry forgot to log it - better late than never!

The sun had just set but we had no trouble in locating the hide. too dark to see if there is water in the creek.
Today we rode the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail from Yarraman to Moore which provided the opportunity to seek out 8 geocaches of which I found 5, not being willing to spend more than a few minutes in each search. This cache was a straightforward find, being within a few metres of the coordinates. Thank you Purple Ninja_00 for installing and maintaining this cache.
Big timbers. New log required as there is not much room left to write on. TFTC cache owner
As caravanners we cannot always pull up for some caches but this one was no problem. Thanks Purple_Ninja_00
Driving home from Kingaroy to Redcliffe, we were keen to get home. I'm not sure why - we weren't missing our kids, we were led to believe the housework was done, we still had clean underwear and the house hadn't burnt down without us. Actually we were out of clean underwear. Anyway we put the caches on hold except this DNF I needed to rectify.
It was as we pulled in that I remembered last time there was a fleet of caravans here and the travelling grey nomad circus were guarding this cache. Today there was only one caravan around and no one to be seen so we could make a quick find. I had the cache stamped before my wife could even finish her Instagram post. tftc

What a great place to camp! A nice swimming hole and a bit of grass. We were surprised that the cache is still there considering the amount of toilet paper strewn around the tree!
Thanks Purple_Ninja_00.

Hi there Purple_Ninja_00.
We have based ourselves in Nanango for a few days & picked a cache that was some distance away and then tried the "Next Closest" route calculation method to complete our cache raid. Unfortunately that didn't quite go to plan as some of the caches on the rail trail were a little above Penny's terrain rating so we took a punt on "Beans", and that took us on quite a mystery tour. (Unfortunately we didn't get the final as it was an unsolved puzzle before we started, and those don't even make it into our GPS.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We found 18 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Crew 153 and I had big plans to try and get 100 caches in a day today.
However, Crew 153's Ford Falcon had other ideas and brought us to a screeching halt at cache number 50 by blowing its fuel pump.
We were both calm and collected about it. We still got 50 caches. Car got safely towed to Kilcoy. Mr Slow Puncture came and rescued us.. and there are still more than enough caches out there for us to try again. There ends my "cut and paste" part of the log
Our final cache for the day. We were driving the "already repaired" Falcon back home but decided to jump in and grab this one. We rounded GZ and soon found the prize. We signed the log and re-hid the cache as found.
Not long after this, the car died again on us. A memorable day - but we did at least get a nice round number of "50".

Fangsoki and I had picked this area for a day of caching to find caches for the Hidden Creatures Souvenirs and after an early start I finally finished the day with a total of 53 finds when we struck engine trouble and had to abort the mission.
This cache was find number 53 for the day.
This was to be the last find for the day as we headed home after aborting our trip near Nanango and started heading home. We risked stopping for this one as we were muggled out of the spot earlier in the day. There were no muggles close to the area now so we had no trouble locating the cache
