We failed on our first attempt here today. This was a bit different to others like this which we have seen. Then we cycled away to the next cache, pondering this task. Of course, we could use items in our repair kit! Later in the day we returned and made quick work of this nice field puzzle. A very smart puzzle. Thanks jmaxadventures
Find #37Probably the most creative and entertaining cache Ive done so far. Knew it was a good day to bring my 2L bottle caching! Didnt bring any friends for this one so had to use things from the surrounding environment. Icy cold weather and no muggles.Couldnt sign log as I didnt bring a pen (regrettably). TFTC- [found at] 3:52pm
What do you know I have that exact TOTT in my car just for these situations. Enjoyed the cache and retrieval here today. TFTC
While waiting to pick up my wife after an appointment, I swung by this cache. I hadn't read the description so was totally unprepared. I'll be back another day with the right TOTT to grab this one.
Thammy thpwung a leak, but we got CIH in the end. OCW ADI. TFTC jmaxadventures
Site surrounded by fences so unsure if this is still available. It sounds like a very good cache which we may have to come back to do another time!
Came all this way and didn't have water to reveal the cache with. Extremely frustrating.

I had been jogging in the area, and decided to search for this on the way out of the suburb. I had brought along the right TOTT, and once at GZ thought I wouldn't have too much trouble getting at the container. Wrong - this is not an easy cache to find alone! Luckily the creek was full, so I was able to restock, and with the added help of some natural mini-TOTTs I was able to complete the operation. Getting the log out was the next challenge, and it took much effort (plus a few choice words - "oh gosh golly") to gain access, but I finally was successful. Phew. TNLNSL, thanks for a fun cache.

Came by the other day and realised part of what I had to do.
As I began giving thammy something to drink, I thought ‘I wonder how this cache resets’ - wow question answered as soon as thammy began drinking haha! Didn’t notice that before.
Decided I’d bring some friends to assist me with this one some other day, but I’m very impatient. Brought a couple of TOTT’s today, and CIH within minutes.
Getting the log out was a different story though haha.
SL, cache returned and thammy sits waiting to drink again! FP.

Great idea. It's not just fun for children. We too had a lot of fun until we got the jar.
Thanks for that
Thanks for that
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Hahaha, first time we’ve had a puzzle like this. I got wet but a fun if slightly frustrating challenge / geo cache. TYFTC.
Great location! Satellite navigation was dicey but can be found using clues from the log...

An afternoon of Covid safe geocaching in my LGA took me around some interesting caches.
This was the first cache of the day and this was one I attempted twice before. As I rarely read the cache pages upfront, I was not aware I needed to bring certain TOTT so my first attempt was obviously doomed to fail. The second time I passed this cache location by accident. I gave it another try but I concluded that the TOTT I had in my car was not up to its task and I needed to bring out the big guns.
But today I was well prepared and ready to take on Thammy. Easy peasy and before I know it, the cache popped up. Unfortunately the logsheet was very wet and could not be written upon. So a photo log instead. I then placed everything back into position for the next cacher.

Had attempted this one previously so had the water prepared. I normally like these but blah in a park full of people when you feel everyone is watching you. Tftc
That was fun, it took 3 trips to and from the tap about 60 metres away before I managed to get him out
We drove down to the area to collect some pots for our front garden and I picked a few high fav point caches to do while here. This was our third for the day. We reached GZ and saw what we had to do so walked back to the car to get a Tott and then walked nearby for resources but 600ml is not enough , so walked back to the car again and back to get more resources and finally got the cache container , I added a peice of paper with my name on it as there was no way of me getting the log out without damaging it . Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found
Parkrun for start of Christmas 2020 and then some caches and labs on my way home. All my favourite activities in one day. What better way to celebrate?

A tricky one to get out but lots of fun trying, you definitely need lots of hands! TFTC
This was another fun one to do while babysitting, and she very lovingly shared with Thammy

I turned up with the required refreshment Thammy wanted but couldn't get what I wanted by myself. A second attempt with an extra person soon had the cache in hand. A second issue was then found that required a trip back to the car to remove the log and sign it before replacing as found. tftc and another favorite given
What a clever cache, good job I had someone with me which came very handy, loved it, fav point for me
Third time lucky!
Having thought we were ok to have just ‘got there’ we were told we would have to re start. Two weeks later after orienteering nearby we tried again! Failure...
Next day, today, we returned to finish the job with reinforcements and Eureka!
Here at fun we loved it

Great hide hole ; however someone has jammed the cache so tightly that we could not hold cache in hand . I shall message owner with a photo
What a clever cache! Needed a few tries as the geohelpers got a bit excited before the cache was actually in hand
We found it using 6 brains after a few tries. It was the cleverest geocache we have found. New Log needed.
This was the easiest cache to spot, but the hardest to get our grubby little hands on. After a few unsuccessful attempts we finally were able to get it. I’m certainly glad I brought geo-daughter along!
She loved this cache, and we had a good laugh when we finally got it.

We expected a huge wave of caches to be uploaded today due to lifting restrictions, but woke to no notifications. After waiting around for an hour or so, being ready to cache we left the house and headed out to the Crestwood area. Many of the caches seemed to have great amounts of favourite points (even though theres a fair few with DNF strings) Here we are... (p.s. a new cache was published in the EXACT area we were in half the day caching, just as we were on the way home, so no FTF for us)
Now this was a FP worthy cache! We pulled the car down to be closer to this cache. As we approached the building, I spied the likely hide. I opened it up and... the theme all made sense now. We had a lightbulb moment as I recognised the procedure necessary to retrieve this cache. I couldn't help smiling because I have always wanted to find this type of cache. Luckily I wasn't alone. Dad ran over to the car and picked up a supply we had forgotten to throw away.
I won't spoil anything but let's just say it took multiple runs and I definitely got caught in the crossfire playing twister. The log is difficult to write on due to its waterproof nature but I managed to scrawl an OZB on the scroll.
TFTC and a well deserved FP!!

Found with Anominous Sign on 1/3. Did not prepare for this one. But luckily we found what we need locally. Thanks for the cache! This type is always fun.
We spotted the cache as we approached but we didn't have anything with us to help with the extraction. A quick stroll down to the creek and we found something suitable and big enough to only need one trip. A little coordination later and we had the cache. TFTC!
On a drive around Bella Vista with teamMerlin and Splitty Miller JJCC this was the last one we did. Didn't check the page before we visited the cache and didn't come prepared for what we needed to do. Did a bit of a CITO in the area and a few trips later and the cache revealed itself
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache jmaxadventures

Out for a caching run with phlphotos and JJCC collecting some caches around Bella Vista. Made this oe a lot harder than it should of been as we came unprepared as we were just following the footpath to the next cache. Knowing what was needed, we decided to do some CITO and found a semi-worthy container. In the end it took us four trips to replenish, but persistence paid off with the container in site. With the cache finally in hand we signed the log before replacing everything as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition, after signing we replaced as found. Thanks for the cache jmaxadventures.

Came back with hubby and got it! Definitely worth a favourite point! Love the creativity! TFTC
This is such a great idea!!! Love it!
No CIH yet though. After 2 attempts the kids (2 and 4) lost patience
We'll have to come back with Dad.

Chasing caches with high fav points for our souvenirs.
Last time I was caching in this area I had to leave this one out as I hadn’t brought the right tool with me and amazingly I hadn’t seen a single suitable piece of litter!
Today I came prepared with everything that we needed.
This time of hide always makes me smile

Today I headed out to Dural, for the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road, but I was also keen to target some high Favourite point awarded caches to boost our Cache Carnival points tally. Stopped for a few quick “park & grab” Traditionals on the way out, then after the T&T sale & BBQ it was over to Dural & Kenthurst for a few highly Favourited Multis, and then headed home via Baulkham Hills to target a cluster of highly Favourited caches in the Crestwood area, before finishing the day at North Rocks with Australia’s second oldest active geocache. This was the 11th of 20 finds, and 1 DNF, for the day.
This one was next, arriving at GZ and instantly recognising a "cache device", but also realising that I had come totally unprepared for such a device. But luckily the geomobile carries the required supplies, so back over the road to get what was needed.
Back at GZ and the supplies were applied, but that's when I realised that this particular version had a twist, and the cache's Attributes indicated that some geo-buddies may be helpful with cache retrieval. So it was back again to the geomobile for a fresh load of supplies (luckily I carry plenty of it, as I couldn't see the local onsite source as per the Attributes), and to find something to substitute for my lack of geo-buddies, and then back to the cache for another go.
And this time all went well and I soon had CIH. Signed the log sheet (luckily it utilised waterproof paper as it was quite wet) then replaced (reset) everything as found. TFTC jmaxadventures.

We have found a few caches like this in Scotland so knew what to do to get to the log. TFTC
Very clever cache, well thought out. Fortunately we had the correct equipment on us although it was pure chance as we hadn’t realised we needed anything. TFTC

We came here about 6 months ago without Geodad, and without enough fingers! This time, we were adequately equipped for the task, and we had success! This one was fun! Definitely worth a FP for ingenuity! TFTC!

Found with Coybear2000. We were in the area collecting a few caches and we went for this one. Once at GZ we knew what needed to be done. Failed on first attempt, but we had TOT in the car, so once we retrieved those we had no trouble. I'm giving this a favourite. TFTC.
Finally got it on the second attempt!
Came this time with three people, and three items, ready to go.
Divided up responsibilities, and did an attempt but still failed. Close but no cigar!
Tried again, this time with different responsibilities for different folks, and again came very close, but just missed.
On the third and final attempt, with our last item, we managed to get it!
Thanks for the cache, great novel concept and plenty of fun!

Had a really good run at this one without equipment.
Found, saw the mechanism, tried and failed, not enough throughput.
Tried a second and third time with improvised dog bags but still no luck. Got really close but needed a third person that we didn’t have at a crucial moment.
Great concept though, will return and try again.

Very cool little hide. We still haven't got the hang of reading descriptions yet lol. We did however come prepared. Tftc
Nice hide. Really need to read description firsts lol. Luckily we had what we needed and wasnt too long before CIH TFTC
Easy to find- not so easy to sign! Although our thirst was quenched, alas, we were thirsty too quickly afterward, with sweat pouring out before we could sign the log. TFTC
We have a lovely neighbour who goes around the park each day collecting rubbish. I saw him out this morning keeping Cressie Reserve beautiful.
Tftc - must be the cleanest park in NSW. Not a bottle anywhere to be found. Retreated back to friends house to gather the tool required. Performed duties at GZ and returned as found.
Heading home after the Lake Macquarie Mega, broke up my trip halfway at my cousin’s overnight (needed the break after 4 hours crawling in holiday Monday traffic that normally should have taken 90 minutes) and ticked off a few more caches to round out my six-day tally to an even number. This one reminds me of a team bonding game we play with our newbies at SES so I knew a trick or two to retrieve the cache easily.
He struggled but gagged he was, and finally revealed his thecret.
Thanks for the cache

Well that was the trickiest way we’ve had to retrieve a cache! Great for a hot day. Thanks for the find
Obvious place but needed some thought to retrieve. Not seen this type before. Loved it
I headed out today with the intention of finding "numbers", but I like getting the numbers that come we good quality hides and offer a nice walk plus discovering somewhere new. Decided to head for The Hills to keep me busy today. (13/17 finds).
Would you believe me if I said that I'd found a cache just like this yesterday? Well I was helping Team MavEtJu to make the find where he probably could have managed on his own, but this nasty contraption is really best done with friends. I had what I needed to make the device perform in my bag, happy to sacrifice my fluids as I could see there were refill options available nearby. First attempt - oooh, I didn't see those! Cheeky thing. Today, for some reason, I decided to bring my caching toolbox with me (so I've got this box of handy dandy stuff that ends up living in the car instead of coming along with me) and I had prepared for exactly the situation I found myself in here. I was so pleased when my solution worked, but I did have to refill and make a full second attempt. Woo hoo, got it! Thanks jmaxadventures.
