Spent an hour walking around the park and collecting the geocaches. A nice little park. TFTC.
Great little hide. Was originally looking in the wrong spot and took a sliding fall down a leafy incline...no need to be over there! Quick find after that!! SL TNLN TFTC!
The clue is gone but don't let that stump you, the cache remains! (Another I'd advise against wearing thongs whilst finding!) TFTC
Staying at frazeydaze's retreat at Blackheath for a couple off weeks and while she does some clearing out I'm doing a spot of caching. Today I'm caching around Lawson and Bullaburra and this was the ninth of 13 finds and 2 dnf's. For this cache I walked in from Boronia Rd not realizing I could of driven to GZ. Oh well nothing beats a nice bush walk. TFTC blissbaby.
Another good find while going from cache to cache today.
Enjoyed the drive around the area.
Thanks for the fun.

Found during a Friday afternoon drive out to a working weekend at Jenolan Caves. There was a local getting out of his car up the road so I waited a minute before heading to GZ. Many thanks blissbaby
This one stumped me but seasoned Geokid found it after we read a few logs. Very long grass around a pile of branches so I wasn't willing to look for hours due to the snaky weather. Tftc
Came from the other side, and realized the path went through so thought I'd pick this one up as well.
Stood at GZ for a while scratching my head. The hint once made sense. Coords seemed to bounce around a little bit (was telling me it was in the middle of the road) but found it reasonably.

We opted to drive around to this one from "No Vehicle Entry" since we were heading further west towards Katoomba. On arriving at GZ I was wondering whether this was going to be a long hunt. Someone had dropped off a pile of cut branches close to the actual hiding spot, and based on the clue I feared a prolonged rummage.
However, it often helps to take a step back and just survey the landscape a bit before plunging in headlong. I noticed a spot that might be suitable for a hide, and lo and behold, that's exactly where the container was. The log was quickly signed and I left my signature small wire dog in the cache. One more cache nearby to find, directly on our way to Katoomba.

The camo for this one is brilliant! Thanks for the caches in the area! It has been a wonderful walk in Red Gum Park.
Heading up the Mountains today. I haven't done a cache in Bullaburra so made a quick stop and a quick find. TFTC
Quick find by my friend Jopiter! Sat around here with some friends before heading back in to the bush to give Minnatonka another go (spoiler alert : We failed)
Would have been nice to see what this orchard looked like when it was open.

Headed up to the Blue Mountains today on a maintenance visit to our aircraft Route Surveillance Radar installation at Mount Boyce (near Blackheath). Left home nice & early (at 5:25 am) to beat the Sydney peak hour traffic madness, and also to allow for plenty of caching time along the way. This was the 4th of 26 finds ( plus 2 DNF’s) for the day.
Another nice quick "park & grab", but the "structure" has been recently "modified" and so no longer matches the hint. No sign of life over at the nearby Cherry/Plum orchard this morning. I would loved to have had the time for a bush walk to the other two caches down in Red Gum Park, but sadly that will have to wait for another day. TFTC blissbaby.

BMCC has been active here like Performance and chopped down second fork so now just a trunk and a short stump. Cache is damaged on outside but still easily found. Thanks for an easy one.
Took Seb and Curt to find their first caches. This one was good to show newbies how caching works. Bit was fun.
Had a fairly decent look but being awesome weather for a snake I probably didn't try as hard as I could have.
doing a maintenance run on this series while in the area. logbook is quite dry again, pencil still ok too.
We'd walked through the reserve nabbing all the caches that lived here. Like the others this was a quick find and the cache is in good order. Thence down along the path again through the reserve and back to where we'd left our bikes. Good place to visit for an enjoyable stroll along good tracks through the bush with some nice caches to boot.
With the sky darkening the seek for the lower two caches was abandoned and the side track taken up to the park. Cache was found soon enough and in good order. Disconcertingly the street light were on in the early afternoon ... a return walk via the highway to the GeoReindeer was deemed wise. TFTC ?
Came here with The Rats, after finding one on the otherside of the park. We searched where the gps had us but had to broaden our search to find this one.
Thanks
Thanks
Having done the cache nearby we came round to this side of the park where after a short search we had the cache in hand.
Thanks

This was the second cache I tried for, but the last one found on the trip around Red Gum Park. On first attempt I found a truck parked close by with the driver looking straight at GZ. So I headed back down the track to do the remaining three caches, and then returned, fortunately to a truck free GZ. Quickly found, log signed, then off back down the track and home. TFTC
We drove from the other side and made a quick find as the cache was just laying out in the open. Spotted it's likely home and covered it, TNLN thanks.
I had just met Blissbaby at an event cache, and overheard people talking about these caches. I had to have a go at finding them on my way home. The miserable, wet weather made finding these just that little bit more interesting.
This one was by far the easiest. Though I couldn't fit a trackable inside it.
Thanks for the cache.

Walked back out to the car and drove around to this one after we were feeling a bit worse for wear.

A Quick drive around as we became lazy. Another one of the series done. Found with azazzlenic. TFTC.
Second cache for the day and another good quick find so we could retreat to the car to escape the rain.

We were on our way back home after a night in Katoomba. Drove up to GZ, and starting looking in possible locations. The GPSr had us all over the place, before it settled down on where we found the cache.
Reperio at 1535.
I was headed to the Blue Mountains today for an event, and and decided to stop by a few caches along the way. As I pulled up and parked at the trailhead, it began to rain, and so I was considering calling it a day and just get to where I was going...but then again...I do like a walk in the rain...so off I went. Fortunately the cache was located in the first place I looked, and then did a slow jog back to the car. A lovely walk in a nice area.
Gratias blissbaby.

After not finding the cache down near the falls, we grabbed this cache on the way back to the car as the consultation.
The camo is good, but is already starting to fall off and may need a re-visit. Otherwise, cache is in good order.
Found at 1430. TftC

Nice and easy one for myself and the geo-daughter. When the snakes have gone into hibernation, we'll go get the others.
After viewing a few logs and spotting pics on FB of this 'series' of new caches it seems everyone has a different way of tackling them, I think ours was different again, starting with Bullaburra Park then a drive to this one. Loved the camo!

After a quick road bash, we came back around to this one, a nice and easy find.
On a cool damp morning, which was welcome as the days have been rather warm. Pills123 and us decided to get these 6 caches, which we thank blissbaby.

Our last cache in this little cluster, on what turned out to be a very pleasant & easy walk. I'm glad we decided to walk between these, rather than try to drive to the closest point for each.
This one was another quick find, then we had one last little walk up the block back to our car. We decided to head to Wentworth Falls next, for ice cream & other unhealthy snacks.
Thanks for a nice little walk blissbaby

#2779- I had just done the two more difficult, bush caches first and was about to get in the car when I realised that I had almost parked on top of this one. An instant find and off to find my way through the detours and roadworks that Are plaguing Bullaburra at the moment. Thanks.
This was our last cache of the six new ones in this area. We had walked the circuit through the bush, and this cache was only a street away from where we had left our car. We found it easily, did the caching duties, and then anticipated an ice cream and a cold drink before continuing with the rest of our day. Thanks
FTF (one of four today) fairly close to home together with rogerw3. We were both at loose ends today so decided to join up and have a small geocaching expedition. rogerw3 actually has a GCA placed nearby. And I used to have a GC at Bullaburra Park, but was eventually thwarted by the local muggles!
Couldn't get a decent GPS signal around here at first so went off on a tangent. Soon found that if we'd parked any closer to GZ, we'd have crushed the geocache!
Had a nice wander down the nearby trail, which I can't remember traversing in the past.
All was in good order with the hide. TNLNSL.
Many thanks to blissbaby for another upper Blue Mountains geocache!

Met with pjmpjm today for a short foray in the Bullaburra wilds for the 4 new geocaches there.
I took a while to find due to GPSr problems but got there in the end for a joint FTF.
Too bad the other 3 are micros or worse nanos as I won't bother doing an online log for those.
Thanks for the effort.
