The obvious spot for this one, which is similar to the locations others in this series have been placed in was empty. There was also no sign of anywhere else to hide the cache. Needs to be checked and probably replaced.
Found an potential attachment point but no cache today. Will keep an eye on it in the hope of maintenance so I can come back and finish the series. Thanks anyway scruffyblake.
I came out to Hall with the intention of finishing off the Petrov Affair adventure lab. When looking into the caches of the area, I found the Tralee Trails series that all seemed to be well favourited, and Spot the Cache, which seemed intriguing. I had a great day out, finding nine of the eleven caches I came out for. Thanks to all the cache owners for the fantastic caches!

Didn't manage to catch this one. Might have been the fading light, or me missing the obvious.
Will try again once someone else has managed the find.

Spent about 10 mom looking for this one then had to give up as I had an appointment nearby. Will try again sometime.
Log was waterlogged... Silly me parked in the wrong spot and had to walk around. Excellent hiding spot TFTC
I should have walked on to this cache from the previous one, but I had exited the area to scan munzees along the way. I thought I'd be able to enter via the gate but it has been padlocked for some reason, so I had to backtrack to get over the fence where the barbed wire was missing. Then I ended up searching the wrong tree for some time with no success - and was distracted by an earlier log mentioning that the cache guardian was missing. in the end, with the help of the hint, I found the cache in a more likely spot nearby, complete with its guardian securely attached. TFTC.
I picked a terrible time to get this cache...not because of the cold or lack of light....but because trying to get out of Hume with peak hour traffic was tough!!! Fun little critter though, might come back to do some more of the series! TFTC!
The_proton was right on the ball with this one. A quick find. Not sure why we didn’t grab this one while seeking the others here last time? TFTC.
For some reason we didn’t get this one when we got the others in the series near here. Oh well, in the area today and rectified that by grabbing the cache. Was a faster find than we thought it may have been based on other logs. TFTC!
14/20 Geocaching Birthday Bash
I couldn't get enough of this series, so I did an extra walk past here as well, instead of just heading back to the car, which I had left near the other dam with Croak.
Love this cache.
Somehow I ended up on the wrong side of two fences. One I could pass through a gate, the other I had to step over.
As it's the geocaching birthday weekend with GPS technology turned on to the public 20 years ago today and the first cache hidden 20 years ago tomorrow, I thought I should find a cache today and tomorrow.
After I found a cache in Phillip, I decided I should really do 20 caches over the weekend, 10 today and 10 tomorrow. By the time I got home today I had logged 15, plus 3 DNFs

Loving this series.
Wish more cachers would make the effort with there hides.
Gets a fav from me.

Found with AngelG27 a few days ago - sorry for my late log! All caches found easily and in accordance with the hint. A little trip south of the lake TFTC!
Cache 5369 on 14 Jul 2019.
Another cold and windy day, not the best for long winter walks. But with the Mystery at the Museum adventure underway, I definitely have to get outside and find some caches. Plan today is to find the last fingerprint and start recovering some of the jewels! Bobl27 accompanied me for the drive around, which made the adventure much more fun than doing it by myself!
This cache: last cache for the day, had to climb over a gate to find the cache. Lots of development since I was last here.
Thanks scruffyblake for the cache and the fun!

I have to say I really enjoyed this series. Each container was special in its own way (though a couple were missing other than a bison).
I had to come to Hume to drop off something at the Post Express point and had over an hour to kill, which worked out just perfectly.
Some of these were harder than others to get to, involving climbing fences that all look rather newish.
This was just a bison tube, I wonder what it was originally

In the area so we decided to turn a blue sad face from January 2016 into a yellow smiley face today. That done we then got ourselves a blue sad face from another cache not found nearby :{{ TFTC scruffyblake.
A good day for geocaching after we attended 2 events today. Found it with a group of geofriends from WA, VIC, QLD and NSW. Thank you for bringing us here.

I have found this cache during the Clear Water Mega or in the weeks leading up to the Mega that was held I Queanbyean, New South Wales during the Easter Long Weekend of 2019. Due to the very large volume of caches and very long hours this is he first chance that I have had to Log all my finds,
This Mega Event will go down as one of the best mega events ever. I went on several Geocaching Tours, Swapped over 200 Pathtags, Bought Some Geocoins, Made some New Friends, Cached with Old Friends. During the Clear Water Mega I managed to get 8 FTF (as of 2359 on the 20/4/19. I am hoping to get more FTFs in the next few days. I’m sad to see the Mega ending but I’m excited for my next adventure in Hawaii for a few weeks after the mega ends. . Thanks for all the caches and sorry for the generic log for this cache but with over 200 finds in the last few weeks it would be too hard to write a different one for each cache. A very big thank you to all the CO’s for your caches. I also donated 25 pathtags to the Girl Guides to thank them for their hard work. Had fun being the Clear Water Yowie for over 7 hours on the 19th April also.
My name will not appear in the All7 caches as I helped her put out hundreds of her caches. All other logs have been signed DSD or Darksidedan or Darkside depending on the size of the cache.
I have included one of the Geocaching poems that I have written. I hope that anyone reading it likes it
Geocache Poem
By DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
Screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.
***** I am currently writing very detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author". This Badge challenges geocachers to write logs with an average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the 20th of April 2019 my average is 99 words per log, which seems close to the 100 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average up. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After more than 5000 aches (which includes all cache finds up and including today I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task very soon. Progress has been better than anticipated.

Dan, you must be blind. I went and found my original cache guardian and have put it back in his home.
Day 7: Clear Waters Mega Trip
Took up DarksideDan’s Facebook offer of a caching adventure. I was keen to escape the in-laws for a bit and what better way then a drive and collecting a few caches. Managed to clean up all this little series which were all quite cute. I especially liked prickly

I had a little bit of time before training today so decided to fill it in by finding some caches. TFTC
I looked and I looked and I looked. The trees were not giving up their secrets today.
This is the cache we searched the longest as it was well hidden.
What a great and lucky afternoon Dino and I had. We had planned to do the Tralee Trail today as we had an inspection in the motor vehicle station. They had a new service so did the regio right there, wow great safes an extra teip. We did some caches before during and after found all cache which were really well done and also found a snake right at the Snail cache! Which was cool. On the last one we spotted an Echidna! And when we were just done with all that, pops up a new cache just around the corner from where we were and we got the FTF. Definitely a horseshoe... today
Thank you scruffyblake for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Almost didn't find this well hidden fellow. Also had to jump locked gate to access gz. I think there has been a lot of new barb wire topped fencing at Tralee since you placed the caches. Another favorite point for your effort. Cheers.
Tree is on fenced off private property. Couldn’t see it from outside the property so left.
I missed this one earlier (walked right past it), so had to go back a bit later and collect.
Thanks,
Thanks,
Decided to go out and grab some caches to help get closer to my 3000th milestone and these were just the ones to go for. This one got me to 2891 finds so tftc scruffyblake
Ok ... I had a middle of the day appointment to donate blood (school holidays so not at work and had figured while I was down this way I might see if I could find a heap of caches so I was closer to getting that last hidden creatures souvenir, so ... after donating blood, and staying for my milkshake and coffee, I headed south, stopping at a few caches along the way.
Then I stopped at the end of Mugga Lane for a few more, then decided to park and find a few just a bit further down the road ... by which time it had somehow got dark. Then I decided to grab the others down that road and head down that way, along the highway, to do what I could of some of the trails around Richardson or somewhere that I had originally planned to do, but I saw a spot to park just around the corner as I turned on to the highway, and decided to do a couple of the Tralee trail caches first ... and ended up looking for them all - wandering around in the frost and enjoying myself - lol
Then I decided it was probably time I went home and had some (rather late) dinner, but as I was driving North I decided to make a detour to grab a couple caches I wanted to get up in Watson, and ended up looking for a few there ... ending the evening with not finding one (3rd strike for the day - I guess I am out?) at about Midnight ... then I went home and had a couple of pies for (very late!) dinner
TFTC - Second one of these I came looking for... Didn't take me long to catch the sneaky fellow

A little bit harder to find but soon it was two down for the evening. Onto the next one.
Parked at the gate, I could of even drove in as it was unlocked! But thought I better play it safe
Made the short walk to GZ and started searching what I thought was a leaning tree but couldn't find anything. I then emerged from under the tree and OH, that looks MUCH more like a leaning tree, ahah
So over I went and soon uncovered the well hidden cache. Sweet!
Nice little piece of camo here, was baby steps compared to the next one I was about to find!
Thanks scruffyblake

Horah! Curiosity got the bterr of me and i went back for a 2nd try. Thanks for the fun!
Thanks for the cache. Managed a quick find while out walking the geohound on a quiet Sunday afternoon.
### Easter trip 2018 ###
----------
We've planed a trip to Jindabyne this year.
To get there, we took the inland route via Canberra where we've stayed for one night. We've then continued on to Jindabyne and have stopped at many interesting locations on the way there.
We've walkes up to the summit of
Mt Kosciusko on Easter Saturday. We've taken the main range walk up to the summit of 26km total distance. Great challenging hike past the blue lake and many other little mountain lakes.
The view up there was magnificent.
Back in Jindabyne, we've walked around the lake and have visited the sculptures near the lake.
We took the coastal route for the way home back to Sydney staying in Batemans Bay for the night.
We've stopped at many interesting locations and have visited some caches along the way as well
Thank you to all the owners for showing us the places

AS usual, an after work collect. Actually had a look at the old house - pity about it left to ruin. Found the GZ and the cache guardian. Nice. TFTC scruffyblake
Cache Number 13 found! A lovely little surprise - loved this little guy. Many thanks for the cache - really enjoying this series
This is a delightful series. What a shame there is so much rubbish about and all that history is let go to rack and ruin. This area needs a 'friends of'.

I love the history of Tralee but didn't realise the connection to the Tuggeranong School - I used to live at the old schoolhouse so I should have known better lol. Thanks for the education

Found 5:32 pm with friend found. It was getting a little later now so used the torch to light up the GZ spot and cache was quickly spotted. Nice way of placing this cache. Signed the log and returned all to hiding spot. We realised with this cache we hadn't needed to jump a fence for an earlier cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
After lazing the daybaway i've decided to finally get some exercise, and what better wsy than a few csches. This was a little harder to find at night. Nice but still quick. Sweet little thing

Nice easy park at recommended parking and an easy gate to open instead of climbing through fences like others in the series. Hint spot on. Tftc!!!
This was a much more civilised way to enter, a real working gate even! Spotted the right tree quick enough but in torch light took a moment more to spot the cache. TFTC!
Somehow I missed this one last week, the icon hidden under other icons on GPRs. Back today to find. TNLNSL TFTC
4:50pm 6/12 - wasn't sure how this would go down - a lot of the Hume caches are behind fences so not sure if I'm trespassing or not. This is a good time of day as most activitiy seems to have wound down for the day. A great little "container". TFTC scruffyblake
I decided to return to Hume today to find a few more of the Tralee Trails animals while there weren't too many people about.
I parked at the indicated spot and was quickly on this little guy, hiding where you would expect his kind to be. Signed and off to the next one. TFTC

Wasn't really comfortable going beyond the fence to get to this one. The property is being looked after, its fenced and the grass is freshly cut. Thanks.
I needed a cache to fill in a hole for today (there's still about 180 of those holes, but you have to start somewhere).
I've collected most of the caches close to home, so I now have to drive further to find them. Hume seemed like a good spot.
I initially looked in the incorrect, but obvious place. Stepping back and having a better look at the bigger picture gave it away quickly.
Thanks. I enjoy caches that share some of the local history.
