Found the rocks. Found the very angry ants. Suggest the ants have buried cache in their nest dirt. Could only hack a few bites before I abandoned the search. Win some, you lose some. Still fun searching.
Decided to take a day trip to the South Burnett Region to collect a few caches along the way and a special visit to a place I had never been through before. After the event at Cherbourg I wandered through various parts of the region collecting caches that have been placed over the years. The log was wet and soggy. I left it to dry on hot the hot grid while i ventured down the road for another cache. Nice and dry now.
After a lovely dinner at the blackbutt pub last night and a peaceful nights sleep it was an early morning start today to score a few caches before work begins. My target to day is to get to 100 caches in the south Burnett LGA to get one step closer to a challenge cache Im focusing on in Brisbane.Upon arriving at ground zero I found a safe place to park the geowagon and made my way to ground zero. It didnt take long until I had located ground zero and I soon had the log out and was making my mark for prosperity. Safely returning the cache to its hiding place I was soon back in the van and off to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Heading home from the Fraser Coast and thanks to a certain challenge we took a small detour down the dirt road for these 2 caches. A quick find here.Tftc Purple_Ninja_00Find #4733
P. S. Sorry, sexy hands. Pushed send instead. Easy find after a 4km bike ride from Deep Dime in the dark. If you get the chance to stay at Deep Dime - do it, it is well worth it. Great camping sites and even better flowing creek. Hottest day this summer so far and the creek was the only place to be -hence the late arvo, night time cache run.
Found by Mary and David at 10:45. A nice quick find as we head to Toowoomba. Our thanks to Purple_Ninja_00.
Our last day of caching, home tomorrow, planning our next breakout. An overcast day with interminent sunny patches. Most of the caches were damp, and we were going to replace, however there is another rain storm due to pass through in the bnext couple of days. Some of the containers are missing the rubber seal, letting water/condensation into the container. Drained containers and aired logs for about 10 min.

Replaced damaged container and log which was found on the ground. Found whilst on a very non direct route to QOGM - Charleville 2022. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching.

Nanango Blitz Weekend with Stealth Seeker. Final Day.
A very quick drive by. Couldn't quite reach it without getting out of the car.

With Aussiemates on our last day of adventure. Couldn't resist a quick stop here on the way. TFTC
A lovely caching run this morning around the country roads in this beautiful area. Although this road didn’t show on our map it was clear in satellite view. The cache was found with the helpful hint before continuing on to the next one. All good with the cache log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Purple_Ninja_00 for placing these caches for us to find.
Still driving around the back roads of Nanango on our 2nd day. This was cache no. 35 for today. I found cache on the floor just sitting there looking a little lost. I popped it back where the rock indicated that it might be meant to be. Black is not a good colour to be wearing with all the dust about. TFTC.
Tftc ,we are here in Nanango for a few days, will head down this road a bit and see what we find
All good here

Good little find. Easy. Just off the Hwy.
Though the log is full, plenty of room on the back of the pages - so not urgent. TFTC

TFTC! Found this one just laying on the ground. Signed And placed back where I think it lives.
All the stortigirls were out today on a roadtrip to pick up the newest member of our tribe...Molly the Maremma. We passed quite a few caches, and as I pulled in here there was a lot of eye rolling as I exited the car. A quick find thanks to the hint, as I was about to get back in the car we nearly had the door swiped off by a group of P platers easily doing over a hundred km an hour tearing along the narrow dirt road and over the grid without slowing down before skidding to a dangerous halt along the gravel at the main road. There's an accident waiting to happen [}:(] Thankfully we closed the door in time and drove down the road safely to the next cache. Tftc Purple_Ninja_00

Heading up to Kilkivan to attend the annual event, which we've become quite find of over the last few years.
Instead of taking the boring highway route, we're heading out through Nanango and stopping here and there to make some finds along the way of ones we've missed previously or that have been published since our last visit.

Log for Grid #1 signed at 11:13 and cache returned as found. Thanks for the smilie and bringing us here **Purple_Ninja_00**. This log is trackable, mention where you saw it.

Had a fab adventure with Ms Maddy today and over the last few days in her efforts to reach a special milestone at the mega. Much appreciated was the hospitality of YOF and his lovely wife at the end of the day. Out this way we found some very durable caches, a small fluffy animal, some swans, cows, dogs, awesome views and rolling fields, surprisingly a lot of cars heading out on their own adventures, the best bakeries in the country ofcourse and a whole lot of laughter. I am not sure how many we picked up but it was over 50. I really appreciated the work put into the large number of caches at Nanango. I am sorry about the generic logs. and a huge Tftc
The marathon caching run continues and lucky to have Miss Direction’s company for this adventure. There were new places to explore and took pics of black swans and cattle, startled a small furry critter at a cache, ran to some, stumbled to others, drank coffee, peered under and over and around things, scored a few itchy bites, and replaced a couple of missing hides. A fab day out Apols for the generic logs as a few to log tonight.

Out caching for the weekend with the Tough Mother’s (Jemillalucy, Bennyboppers, and Lisylou). TFTC!
Out for the day with Kale of ranibaskale so we can find some hidden creatures and have a bit of an adventure. This was one of the caches we found today! Thanks for the cache, Purple_Ninja_00!
I hitched a ride with caro from Jess & Caro today and we went north to find a bunch of caches. They were great and I had fun. Thanks!
This was another cache that we found close to the highway. At first the search was done at the wrong level, but a glimpse in the right direction soon had us on track. Cache was retrieved, log signed and we were soon on our way again. Thanks go to Purple_Ninja_00 for this cache placement, which we ejnoyed finding.
My apologies up front for the copy 'n' paste logs...not my usual thing but the unusually high numbers found (for the Eskies) necessitated this to get the job done.
Mrs E & Kestal hit the road early this morning for a numbers run as the Eskies prepare for the next milestone...a really enjoyable day with many scenic roads travelled. We were very thankful for a reprieve in the hot weather after the scorching temps this week...some areas in the region obviously copped a battering at some stage with many branches and trees down in spots. Our thanks to all the COs for their contribution to our day...a total of 41 found!

Out today with Eskies5 as she builds her numbers towards her next big milestone. We left Toowoomba just after 6 and after finding caches to the east and west of Nanango we headed north. Our first pit stop north was here and after a little confusion on where you find rocks we made the find and signed our names. Thanks for being part of our day Purple_Ninja_00
A lovely drive along quiet country roads - just how we like them. Had us fooled looking for the rocks!! TFTC Purple_Ninja_00
Visiting family and staying at Kingaroy and out this way for a spot of fishing. Caught a yellow belly & found these caches along the way

Off the busy highway,
I found this grid
No it's not a crossword,
or even a sudookoo
It's an anti-Moo [:o)]
Cache found rather quickly for me I thought

We will be leaving very soon to attend the Red Centre Experience Event being held in Alice Springs and have decided we would try to make that event a milestone ... the only problem is we are a few hundred caches short This was the perfect excuse for a quick road trip through Nanango/Murgon/Kingaroy The weather was a little rainy, but surprisingly we remained relatively dry during the day with the worst of the rain occurring while we camped overnight [^]
We managed to locate this cache easily and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our journey.
Thank you Purple_Ninja_00 for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Travelling around Australia and now super excited to be finally starting our trek to the Easter Geocaching Event at Alice Springs.
Leaving Nanango today but what's the rush. Packed up but then headed out to find just a few more caches before leaving after lunch.

26/3/16 camping for the Easter break in the area and hoping to grab a few caches whilst in the area. I ducked out with the geoboy (hoping he would have a rest whilst I found a few caches) and I was mighty impressed with the various caches and hides today.
Thirteenth find for the day and a super quick, easy find. TFTC
