Hi laurenjaynee94,

This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, only to discourage people from visiting this location until this cache may be addressed.

**Please note that caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis you will be given some extra time to react as we recognise that CO's can't just pop out and fix the issue,** geocache maintenance can wait. Once the acute threat of pandemic is over, I will remind you about your cache needing attention.

Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so. However, I would like to assure you I will not be archiving any caches which the cache owner does not currently feel safe to maintain.

I'll pass by in about another 45 days and hopefully this will all be over.

Finding this cache would complete my 4 states in a day. We had driven to Victoria from Adelaide, back to Adelaide. Flew to Brisbane. Then I headed down just over the border to grab a cache. This one is my Queensland cache.

I parked up and the place was quiet (thankfully - not even a dog barking). This one was quite cleverly hidden but I found the prize after a while. The cache was in good condition. I signed the log and re-hid it as found and quickly slipped out of the area.

Had the right tree but took a while to locate container after several stick and scratch injuries. No pencil there so definitely BYO. TFTC

Great !

30-Jul-17
Having a short holiday with friends who happen to live a few doors away. Took the new puppy for a walk.
As mentioned in previous entries the log was a sodden mass. Took it home. Managed to carefully peel the log apart without too much damage, dried it out, cleaned the zip lock and container, and just popped it back. All good and back in action.

Found on the second attempt. After using my eyes to try to unsuccessfully locate it, I used the reach in and touch method. I touched the HQ of the neighbourhood ant nest but also found the cache. Unfortunately the logsheet was completely sodden so I couldn't sign it. I took a photo if the CO wants to see proof of finding it.

Logsheet is soaked and needs replacing.

Based on the hint, we were convinced we had the right tree, but what a sneaky little hiding spot! Glad we persevered. On a heatwave like today the cool breeze and shade from the playground were thoroughly welcomed. Sneaky Squirrels

Too hot for the geocycle today. Out in the geomobile doing some drive-bys and short walks only. Smile

A nice quick find here with the hint thanks.

Very happy to have found this cache today. I've been here before for a hunt and not found it and this box on the map has been haunting me. So today it was a revisit and very happily we can log a 'found it' and receive our smilie. Thanks for placing this cache here laurenjaynee94, for us and others to find. Cheers and Happy New Year! We thought this would be an easy find on arrival at GZ as there was a barking dog nearby that would not let up the whole time we were there so we were hoping to be quick. Just about to give up and lifted some more leaf litter and there it was, simple but very effective hide. Thanks laurenjaynee94 and TFTC Smile

10-May-16
I couldn't find this one but it was only a quick search as there were lots of muggles around and it was getting dark. I saw an amazing sunset though!

Easy find great little cache

11-Sep-15
Wow this is an unusual little park and footpath, I wasn't expecting it at all. Thankfully no one was around but the dogs soon found me. Not long after I started signing my name they started barking, ahhhhh. Fortunately for me I came from the top so I was soon oit of their view and the neighbourhood was again a quiet place.
Thanx again lillycat

Geo Wife had an appointment at GCUH for about 3 hours and I was free to do what I wanted so I thought it wasn't too far to head down and pick up some caches in Tweed/Coolangatta.

I was glad to see that this one had been replaced to give it a reasonable go at surviving as I was unsuccessful in my first attempt not too long after it was published.

It was good to see that effects on the area at my first visit had disappeared and the cache was now safely hidden away.

Thanks LaurenJaynee TFTC SL

Thanks for the replacement cache. All in good order. Put back as found.
Nice park
Cheers

28-Jul-15
With no log from the owner confirming whether the cache is there or not I am replacing the cache.

I have recently been given a few film canisters. Smile
So i thought I would use one to replace a few missing caches in the area.
I have added a log sheet and a zip lock bag. Smile
Clue is still relevant. Big Grin
I have placed this at the spot I believe to be the original placement and is at the GZ co-ordinates.
Thanks for the cache.

28-May-15
Another DNF. We gave it a good look. Owner should check on this one and let the geocaching community know if it is actually still there or replace it if it isn't. Thanks though laurenjaynee94

28-May-15
No luck today.

22-Feb-15
I was down this way this morning to take a work friend out caching ...but he had to go into work to sort out a mess from yesterday. Smile
So, out and about by myself before the rain gets too bad. Sad
There is a few DNF logs, can the cache owner please check the cache is there (maybe replace it if it is missing)
Cheers

GeoKid and I racking up the DNF's today on local hunt ! If this is the tree, she's been stripped.

I had a few hours for my favourite game as the female members of our team wanted to do some shopping (Well Geo Girls did and Geo Mum went along).

I had chosen this for my first but seeing as my No. 1 log reader (Geo Wife) was not with me I had gone blindly to GZ THEN read the logs after a failed attempt at locating the prize only to have it confirmed that 2 previous lookers had been unsuccessful as well!!

I am afraid I think this one has gone!!

Sad after finding another one in this estate dumped on the ground we think this one may be missing. That or the three of us need help looking!

22-Nov-14
We walked up rather than down, but that was after missing the turn off and going on tour of the estate. Interesting place and interesting views from GZ.

Thanks for the cache.
