Today before we headed to our next stop, Reefton, we popped over to Ross as we wanted to explore this little town. We had a good look all over and could not find the cache - query the last bland log - might be with the CO checking this one Tim and Viv - ddm
unfortunately I couldn't spot this one today either. I'm thinking I should have read further than the last log!
Bah, gave it a good nudge but no luck today, I'll be back to explore around here one day. Cheers
There were a few muggles out and about in the town. Found the location very easily but not the actual cache. Went down the pub and had a quick meal with a drink before wandering back to GZ and poking around again, finding the cache! The actual cache was not hanging but easy to spot next to the hanging objects. Log was a bit wet but still able to write on. Nice hide! TFTC
We found it was hard to find it, took a long time but we suddenly found it 25mins it was in front of us the whole time. Hugo -7
Park&Grab - thanks for guiding us to this place. It was fun to explore the mystical figures along the fence.
G'day from Australia!!!
Stumble Trip had been in NZ for the past 6mths, working on the Milford Track. Stumble's Mate flew in to meet up with her and we spent the next 2wks traveling the beautiful South Island in a camper. Whilst the weather wasn't favourable for the first week, we had an awesome time and travelled some 3,200+kms, seeing some beautiful sites and staying in just as beautiful campsite along the way.
Thanks to all the CO. Unless otherwise stated, all caches were found in good condition.

Day 7 on our holiday in New Zealand. Today our tour is going from Fox Glacier to Punakaiki. We also visited this traditional cache, found it, and signed the logbook.

Back in Germany I now want to log my finds in this beautiful country. Thanks to the owners for their work and care. With some cases, of course, also a favorite point remains.
On our trip from Franz Josef Glacier to Punakaiki we stopped here for a rest.

spent 6 great weeks in New Zealand with my ?? The start was a bit bumpy (Cyclone Gabrielle) but then it got better and better. We travelled to both islands and discovered a lot. We photographed and filmed many beautiful things, but most of it stayed in our hearts.Almost everywhere we stopped, a cache was already waiting for us. Most of the caches are well maintained and easy to find. With mostly very nice weather, we saw a lot of this impressive island. In many places, caches were waiting for us, which were sometimes easy and sometimes difficult to find. This cache was also included and was successfully signedWe puzzled a lot in advance and the tours ?? were well prepared So this box was also well found.now I have another on my personal cache card.many thanks to [^] **TwoSharpe** [^] for the effort and the cache and greetings from Germany ???? Found quickly, nice design, thanks for the interesting site and cache. Czech Republic.
We had just finished a walk around the gold mining walk and saw this cache was here. I walked over from where we were parked and spotted the cache so made a nice quick find.

We have been here before and searched for it but on that occasion we were not successful, we didn't log a dnf as we thought it would still be there and that we just couldn't find it. Knowing that we would be back at some stage with more time and able to have another look.
That day was today, it was a beautiful warm afternoon and there were not so many people around by the time we got here.
It still took us way too long to find it, as we were searching with our fingers and not our eyes and I had it in my mind that this was going to be a bison. But find it we did. It was not behind anything in fact it was totally exposed and hanging pretty much in our face.
Would love to come back here one day when the hedge has been pruned as it looks like there are some interesting old relics in amongst the greenery
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Needs a bit of a prune to see them more clearly. Luckily a quick find. Lots of people wandering around.
An evening cache raid to Ross. Staying further north but decided there was enough time after setting up camp and having diner to pop down here and snare all the caches.
Looked at the lake, do they give former mines now ponds a special name? Two minutes of googlin says no.

A. It wet when we arrived today, but took a little walk around the gold history site and then a look for this one. Too bad the plants have grown so much the cache “holder” can’t really be seen. Thanks for the story and the cache.
Still on my ride to Foss and back, but a side trip around here. GPS took a while to settle, and once I read the page it all made sense for a quick find. TFTC.
Nice sunny morning for a walk around Ross. There seem to be only two caches in this town. I think the bushes must have grown a bit as I had to look hard to find it. The camouflage does a good job. TFTC.
On our trip we also passed the small town of Ross. We visited the lovingly designed museum and completed the lab+bonus, the EC and last but not least the Tradie.

On a mission to catch up with a 99-year old Latvian on the Coast today. And knocking off a couple of caches of the PWGT list.
The metalwork is being taken over by nature - perfect place for a geocache.
A quick find after doing the AL, the EC and the Multi in the area.

Cheers for the cache, TwoSharpe.

Day 6 - Labour weekend extended road trip with Kiwicampnut - relocated to stay south of the ditch.
Woke to blue skies and spectacular views. Quite different from yesterday.
Made our way to GZ and started hunting. With the replacement its not quite visible from the footpath, and with the camo, it blends in quite nicely.
A bit on the damp side, but that's hard to avoid on this side of the divide.
Thanks for the cache TwoSharpe

On a trip with Ruru_NZ to gather the tour caches needed or in my case not done yet. Should be able to knock them off on this trip.
Passing through here again. Only in Feb I was after the tour ones. Decided this time to clear others in area.

Travelled down here today to replace the geocache for TwoSharpe. Placed a new container in a similar spot and logging the cache as well because I hadn't actually found it! TFTC
Had a good look but no joy. Sorry, TwoSharpe, should have brought caching gear to replace for you since you are busy running Old Ghost Road today.
Found the location - looked all along the old tools but nothing. Poor hubby drenched again!
Looked for a while but didn't find, large area of possible hiding locations here.
We are over on the coast whitebaiting. A treat tonight was sunday roast at Ross. Found this cute cache among interesting antique tools. Thanks for this cache TwoSharpe.
