Hi GeckoSpit,The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention, or it may not but in the absence of the cache owner performing maintenance and/or disabling the cache to check it out, I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Such beautiful scenery out in this area. We have really enjoyed the drive. Thanks for this placement GeckoSpit. We found the container very rusted and missing it’s lid. We replaced the container and then realized there was very little room left on the log so we replaced that too. We have saved the log. Please let us know within a week if you want us to send it to you.
Cheers and happy caching!

10/7/21 Find #4893
Day two of our weekend Road Trip had NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co, and I starting the morning in Mundubbera before heading to Auburn and then beginning our journey back down to reach Kingaroy for the night.
Having enjoyed our time in Auburn, and then Boat Mountain, we were now making our way back towards Murgon and down to Kingaroy for the night.
A quick pull up here, where Nyssa quickly jumped out to make the find.
Thanks for the cache GeckoSpit.

Spending some time in the district chasing a few caches and soon found the cache. Thanks for the cache.
On our way to have a look at Boat Mountain after lunch in Wondai, we stopped by this intersection.
We found a very rusty eclipse container on the ground and a magnet on the pole, so presumed the cache had lost its position in the sandwich.
Signed the log and replaced in between where we expected it was meant to go.

Day 2 of our stay in Goomeri finding caches and this is one we found. Container was in the ground without its lid which was found nearby. Replaced lid and put the container up a bit higher. Thanks GeckoSpit for placing these caches for us to find.
Another day caching from the motel in Goomeri - some brilliant views from all around and plenty of spring flowers. Placed the log in a new zip-lock bag as there is no lid to the cache. TFTC GeckoSpit
Visiting Kilkivan for the annual Cache-up event. Sweet-Sour kindly offered to chauffeur me around for the day. Who was I to refuse? After finding a nearby cache, we took a pleasant stroll to this one. My caching buddy had previously found this one, so I was left to search for this one on my own. The cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Up in Killivan for the New Year event. My second one. Had lots of fun last year. And how much have I learned since then.
This year I will be caching with my Geoson as wtdwarrior, Grannysmith1947, hatzofff and can’t forget The Geodog Miss Millie.
Sorry for the generic post.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC GeckoSpit *388* streak. *2330* Finds

TFTC. We are house sitting in Bundaberg and this week we have the opportunity to take the Motorhome for a short trip away as the owner’s daughter is home fore a week. Decided to head for Goomeri/Kilkivan area for a caching road trip. WE parked at Goomeri Showgrounds for a few nights. Arriving early afternoon decided to head toward Boat Mountain and cache along the way. We attempted 9 trads and an Earthcache. A nice haul and we got back just before dark.
Quick reach up, but being over 6 foot is handy.

Found while staying in the kilkivan area for about a week before heading for the big smoke down south. Having noticed that there was a lot of new caches placed in the area I set about converting some of them to smileys. This is of of the many I have found so far. All were easy find with no maintenance issues. TFTC
I was on the way home from an overnight road trip with my geogirls. We had just visited Boat Mountain, and so of course had to stop for another smilie here on our way past. A quick find and sign and home we go! Tftc GeckoSpit
After spending couple of days in Central Queensland with our Caravan, we are now on our way back home. Stopped in Murgon for the night.
Went early in the morning on a caching Tour with spectacular views but freezing cold wind.
Wonderful different cache types and hiding ideas. Thanks a lot!

TFTC. This was another nice easy find which we literally just needed to reach out of the window for .
Lovely quiet place to stop and enjoy the views. It was a little breezy and cool but nice clear air and I could see back to where I began today's adventure at A Flat Road. Thanks GeckoSpit, nice placement.
After an enforced break from caching due to a stint in the local hospital with Ross River Virus I ventured out for a drive around the local roads. I set a goal of one cache to break the short lull in my stats and to ensure geodaughter who was driving me did not get exasperated because I was overdoing things.
Very pretty countryside here, well worth the drive.

Up bright and early today, caffeinated and set off with Brother Colin for the day to find some caches and explore a little of this region.
I found 31 today, north, east, and south of our campsite in Murgon. What a great way to spend the day, listening to Triple J's Hottest 100 in the air conditioning of the car in between finds.
Thanks for the cache!

Tftc - if you walk up to the fence and gate there is a lovely view to complement the cache.
For some time I've been meaning to get back to visit the Burnett region, and today was the day. An early start was made and a long 12.5 hr day was spent driving 650km through Blackbutt, Yarraman, Nanango, Kingaroy, Murgon, and up to Boat Mountain before returning.
This was a quick find on the way to boat mountain. Thanks **GeckoSpit** for bringing us here, this find makes smilie #3379. Discover our trackable TGQNRV .

We are heading to Nanango's first event and even though it is not till Saturday we thought we would stop along the way and the get the caches that often get missed followed by the comment we will do that one, one day. Last night and tonight we are staying at the free caravan park at Murgon. No power but toilets and showers are available plus some nice shady trees. So with a bit of driving along the back roads we managed to find some of the caches while others were found closer to town. This was one we targetted and found. Nice hide. Thanks to GeckoSpit for its placement and adding to our enjoyment of this location.
Out and about with one half of The Drovers from the South Burnett to Gympie areas for a couple of days caching. We found a variety of caches and containers along the way and plenty of different hides to keep us on our toes along the way and this was one of them.
Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches along the way.
