6466 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1400. Thought we may have to bypass this cache as a muggle was collecting wood from be side the track. Packed up and left very soon after we arrived. SL Tnx AussieScouter.
It took a couple of minutes of hunting before this cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks AussieScouter for the cache.
Out and about on this crisp Easter Saturday morning and making a few finds. Scout dens always pop up in the middle of nowhere and this one was no different. Back home a common hint is base of tree we are seeing a common theme here, base of boulder.
After climbing over as few boulders we made the grab and then watched a couple of kangaroos bounce by, we wanted to yell out to them to watch the P-plater.

We can't believe all the work that has gone into these caches thank you very much. tn ln sl. day 2 of a quick stop over.
Hooray! I got a cache despite the cold and threatening rain. This sunshine Queenslander is not used to Arctic weather.
Went searching for another and had forgotten this was here! Nice to unexpectedly grab it!
1923 - I went for a drive along this road to grab a couple of caches up this way and this one was the next I found at 11:51am. I found it easily and in good condition. I have heard some good things about the Stanthorpe Scout Group as I work in a supporter role in the Movement myself. Thanks for the cache and for doing your part in the Movement yourself, AussieScouter.
We were unable to get to the MEGA Event earlier in the year so decided to come caching in Stanthorpe for the long weekend. This was our second day of caching.
We had just been right next to this cache when we had earlier done a U-turn while finding the nearby chirp cache. Once back here we made a very quick find. We dropped off the Caching in Queensland Geocoin #2. TFTC

Hi there AussieScouter. We found your cache "Scouts" at 11:00:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 10883.
[Blue]
When the Mega Event was on over Easter we spent the majority of our time socialising, and very little time 'caching. So we have returned to attempt some of the caches that we missed out on.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape, but the listed trackable "Scouts Australia Geocoin III" is not in the cache, could AussieScouter (or the Trackable owner) please "Mark the Item as Missing" so it can be removed from the cache inventory. This option is under Actions on the trackable's web page).
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Day 2 of the return trip to Stanthorpe to collect the caches we couldn't find during the Mega weekend, due to lack of rain and too much rain, and to see off Team Robins on their epic adventure around Australia. Today the plan was to collect Stan's apples and a few other caches before heading off to Team Robins for an event to see them off on their adventure.
Thanks AussieScouter for the cache.

MEGA was on so decided it might be a good idea to find some caches. "Some" ended up turning into a few hundred... the most exhausting experience.
Started in the city and pooh corner, ended up leaving a little late for Stanthorpe. Fun weekend, managed to get pushed into swimming across water a few times and finishing off some rum.

We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Australian Capital Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

Day three at the Mega and my mission is grab 11 different cache types in a day. Including lab caches, there are ten on offer around Stanthorpe today, as well as a virtual on top of Mt Cootha in Brisbane that I have been saving for just this occasion.
Having completed this mission at the Flashmob event, my son T.C.C and I spent an hour or two collecting caches and puzzles around town.
With a couple of nearby puzzles calling, we couldn't help but stop at this one on the way past. Thanks AussieScouter.

Setting out with Alansee, to reign in some caches close to Stanthorpe, we were treated to a dry day with some periods of warm sunshine. This is one of the caches we found as we picked some more of Stan’s apples, walked beside the river, collected rubbish, followed the trail of a bushranger and waved for the camera at the Flashmob Event.
WOW Stanthorpe Scouts have been in the game since the beginning!
Our thanks to AussieScouter for bringing us here.

Day five for us at Stanthorpe, attending the Mega event. The previous day was very wet and up until today we really had not got many numbers. Today we finish up the Stan puzzles (has taken us 3 days to find these, been taking it reaaaaaaal slow) and grab the one or two others nearby, such as this one. Finally with a break in the wet weather, we tackle the trails finishing the day with 202 finds and no DNF's
Thanks to all CO for your efforts in putting out these caches.

As a long time cub scout leader I could not resist doing a cache named "Scouts". Out early this morning to visit the cache and take my Scout geocoins for a visit andt photograph.
Met other cachers at this one who had old co-ordinates. Thankfully I had the right ones and put him on the right track so we could both sign the log and head off for more caching and play. Unfortuneately no more scout caches today.
