I did this little trail nearly two and a half years ago, but this one eluded me as my locating device was constantly bouncing around.
As I looked at the browse map the other night, the annoyance of this one green dot got too much!!

The road is a little wet with the recent rain and storms, but still my two-wheel drive vehicle was still able to navigate the path.

Mission accomplished....as I signed the log, I noticed my phone was telling me I was a metre from the cache....spot on!!

We had a great day. Scones, strawberries and coffee at Riccardos, a walk and a pie at Crescent Head and finished up on the northern break wall on the Hastings River.

Using the geocaching app we went to the high favourite point Swamp Rd caches and left some for another day.

The bag with the log was found laying on the ground. We added it to a new container and placed it in the stump.

What a year Sandyofthesea and I have had. We kitted out the Prado and took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April 2022 to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We started with the Nullabour, Eyre and York Peninsulas, the Riverlands, visited family in Victoria and then back in SA it got cold. Flinders and the Oodnadatta Track was amazing and we finally warmed up in Dalhousie Springs. The Alice beckoned and then a change of plan and we ended up tackling the Tanami Track to the Kimberley and Bungles Bungles. Territory Day in Darwin was unhinged - please try and do it! The Gulf, the coast and the car breaker ‘Old Tele Track’ to the top of Cape York. This is a must but it’s not easy! Eventually made it to Brisbane to get some fixes to the car….. let’s see where we end up.

DiMorgan, I found Stick Up today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

We were in the area to visit the tomato place, while we were here mopped up the 5 remaining caches in the area we didn't get whilst here last time.
This was a DNF on our last trip, we now wonder how we missed it?? I blame the snake that startled us as we started our search! TFTC!

20-Jan-23
While in the area grabbing a few DNFs and also going into Ricardo’s Tomatoes we decided to grab the few that we previously along this road, after a quick search here we found the cache and continued on our way!

The tape and the lid on the cache is deteriorating a bit, but the log is dry… sl tnln

Dayboro trip. Day 4. Another bright sunny day around Port Macquarie. I headed a bit south to Laurieton for an AL. This region was also affected by flooding, so some caches were not accessible. The final lab in the AL set was in a closed park. Then it was back to Port Macquarie for lunch and the caches around the service center. To finish the day a I did a themed series of caches just North on Blackman's Point road. Lots of fun.

This series of caches was fun and the different design for each of them made for a very interesting afternoon. One was my highlight. Thanks for the effort put into these caches.

Thanks.

After what has felt like an eternity, we are finally taking our first geocaching road trip since Clear Waters in Canberra with Crzymelly, TeamPQS and HubbyandMrs.

When TeamPQS wants to make the find, but you wonder what could be hidden in there, you send in Crzymelly to clear the way and make the find first.

No cache for us - just a snake..... I nearly trod on a long brownish snake with a yellow belly as we walked in, a few metres from GZ it seemed. Turns out it was a common tree snake.... half my team ran back to the car, and the rest of us searched around for a while, but the GPS wandered about and we never got there.... another day maybe.

This one had me laughing even before I started looking for the cache. I am having a great morning and haven’t even had my coffee yet . This one had me searching for a few minutes, I also searched a bit closer to the road that my iPhone suggested. Was thinking about what the cache name might mean, tried something and ta-da! Found the cache. Sweet! Sign logbook and replaced as found. Cache is in great condition. TFTC!

Cleverly crafted! We got the wrong end of the stick to start off with, but it all made sense once we found the cache. Our coords seem to be out by about 15m on this road today - maybe it's just that kind of day. Maxim: try closer to the road - tftc!

The geokid was too tired for a thorough search by the time we got to this one last weekend, so I came back to finish the series on my own. Found after reading previous logs. Cache is a bit closer to the toad than where coordinates point. TFTC

We are really enjoying these caches in the late afternoon. This one took us a little longer as GZ had several possibilities and we searched them all. Once again AussieBob made this find and I was most relieved. A nice creative hide so well suited to its location. Definitely deserving of a favourite point.
Cheers and happy caching!

With the high favorite count it was hard to not come do this group of caches and what a neat series this turned out to be.
The road in was in OK condition to start with but got a bit rougher down the highway end and a large mud puddle on the powerline track halted progress in that direction.
Some great and inventive hides with only one causing any difficulty.

This one had me scratching my head. The GPSr led me to a pretty obvious spot with a nice sized hole where a container could be hidden. However, the hole was empty, and despite a few circles around the area, the compass kept bringing me back to here.

Ok, perhaps I was just imagining what I was looking for; time to increase my search radius and check out a few more potential hiding places. While I was conducting my search, I saw someone on a mountain bike enjoying a leisurely ride down the main trail. I would say, a mountain bike would have been the best way to do this mini series.

But back to my conundrum: no container and nothing that really jumped out that matched the name of the cache. Hmmm, perhaps it's been muggled, thought I. Then I checked yet another place and made the find. It was about 12 metres from where I thought it should be, and the name would have been apt had the container been where I had thought it should be. Has it experienced some cache creep?

Well, I'm not one to move things around, so although I strongly suspect the cache was not where it was supposed to be, I put it back where I had found it after adding my name to the log sheet and dropping off one of my signature small wire dogs. Perhaps the CO would like to check whether the cache is where it's supposed to be?

A big day of caching today. After clearing Bago and some lunch we headed off to this series. The little one was a sleep in the car which was a shame as he would have liked some of the caches. We drove the track and there was only one place about 3/4 around where we had to go through a big puddle but it was rocky underneath so it was fine. The series was great and there were a varitey of hides.
My GPS was a bit off here but i manged to make the find after pulling the correct thing. TFTC

Geo friends had recommended your series to me as a must do and I have finally managed to come here. It was so enjoyable finding something totally different with each and every one.
This one took the longest to find only because I was looking in the wrong spot, so many decoys here. Another favorite point from me for the simple but clever hide.
