Had a good bit of free time in Christchurch, so I was able to wander about the central part of the city for four hours and collect a total of thirteen finds.
TFTC. Fully caught by muggles and very awkwardly tried to wait it out to put back but not so stealthy myself

I'm in Christchurch for a few days for work so of course I have to get some geocaching in. I came down a day early so I could get a rental car for the day to target some specific caches in the surrounding area.Spotted it as I approached. All good here and TFTC.Find #6447 at 26 February 2024 7:38 pm
Came out after a weekend of being sick. Nice easy find but we had no pen. Smells fantastic at the moment!
Found on a cold grey day - must come back to see the roses in summer. Thanks for the cache!
Back down in Christchurch for another unexpected visit to Burwood, so made sure to also grab some caches whilst here.
On a jaunt to get some fresh air this morning. A nice quick find in the hint location. TFTC

This is one of those places I wouldn’t have found without a geocache. What a nice respite place during our first day of exploring in NZ. Thanks for the cache. Greetings from New Hampshire, USA!
TFTC lovely spot roses in full bloom log is full needs new one signed in corner
Glad I came by when I did. Found this little fella on the ground out in the open.
Easy and quick find because this is close to home - forgot pen, so took photo
Found it quite easily, but just as I was about to see gmail it muggles approached and sat in the seat. Couldn’t put it back, so had to ale it for a walk in the park until the coast was clear.
Bonus is that it was a lovely day to go wandering.
Log is getting tattered and may need replacing.

Magnet is missing but cache is safe and sound in similar place
The log was a bit damp so I've added a small plastic bag.
Lovely wee spot- TFTC

My nongeocaching sister found this one think I may have converted another to this hobby
The Cache container was found lying on the ground. Believe there is a magnet missing? Anyway, jammed into the frame of the item that should support it? TFTC
A nice spot to place a cache as there's beautiful flowers, birds chirping and little noise from the busy city life. Had no trouble with the find due to good coordinates and a clear hint. TFTC
What a lovely place to come too, one we have never been to before. Cache is all good, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for bringing us here and the cache La Vista.
Out doing the nearby puizzle, I came and swung by here. No issues in this little rose garden, be nice to come back here when the roses are in full bloom!
TFTC La Vista, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 1 find(s) of 4 today, making this find #2767

Tftc. We are a family of 5 travelling our great country in our house bus. Check us out on Facebook or YouTube . @ourkiwibuslife
In the big city for a couple of days on an h&s course for work...so after being cooped up inside all day I needed to stretch my legs dropped of my bags at the hotel and headed out while my ciders cooled down ...so around the block I go ...
Nice quick find away from the hustle and bustle tftc

Walking my friends dog gave me a good excuse to hunt down some caches TFTC and for showing me just how big this space really is!
An evening cache after work / holiday camp again for us. Little cacher enjoyed the new playground. It took us longer to find the playground than the cache, it is a bit further from GZ as well. Both container and logbook were in good condition. Easy find, thanks for the cache!
It smells good this morning.
Caching around here and in the centre today. Tftc

What a lovely spot. Normally drive right past along Avonside Drive but today was on the bike and discovered a new spot TFTC
A new park for me. I'm not really a rosa fan especially if they are thorny or without perfume Well, that still leaves plenty of choices so will have to come back when these are flowering. Fun cache, thanks
We are visiting from California and doing a Petsit in ChristChurch are at Waikamari beach I love Geocaching as it brings us to some beautiful spots like this one thanks for placing the cache. Well deserving of a favorite point
GeoFoxy has arrived to stay with me before her cruise so what better way to see our City but by caching - day 2 of her visit and we are in the central city area. I'm sure this is the third one I've found in this area. What a shame there were not more roses out for GeoFoxy to see.
I have just moved over to the South Island from Australia. Hoping to live and explore the country over the next few years and find a lot of caches on the way. Cheers for the hides.
What an absolutely gorgeous spot. Thank you for bringing me here La Vista - I will make a point of returning some time when the roses are in bloom. TFTC # 14,420
I had no idea this park was here and now I have learnt something I never knew about Roses....Oh and I found the cache! Thanks La Vista.
We start our NZ holiday in Christchurch. Between a sight seeing tour we took some caches. Tftc!

Visiting from Arizona, USA. Arrived from Brisbane last night, now it's time to visit and cache New Zealand!
But first...
We need to get some laundry done, [xx(]
So we dragged the laundry bag the kilometre or so to the nearby laundromat from our hotel, and while we wait for the wash and dry to be done we'll try a couple of caches in the neighbourhood. Sure beats sitting in a dingy laundromat. Which brings us here.
This was a walk through a lovely residential area followed by an easy find in a lovely little park. It appears we missed the rose season by not much. Signed the log "TTB". Thanks for the cache.

Nice. Doing a bit of caching while metabolising after a visit to nearby establishment. Thanks.
A beautiful place thanks for bringing us here. Quickly found as was lying on ground signed log and replaced back to hiding spot. Tftc an smiley
What a lovely place. We will certainly come back when the roses are blooming. Thanks for letting us discover this unknown little reserve.
Never knew this place existed. That's why i love geocaching, it takes you places you would usually never go. Can't wait to this park in the summer. TFTC
Was in Christchurch for work sales meeting today and decided that since I was in town that I would make a long weekend of it. As I knew that I was going to be down here for a couple of extra days I mentioned it to Mr-Mcgoo and asked him if he was interested in meeting me down there.
Mr-Mcgoo arranged the accommodation and I arranged the transportation, Mr-Mcgoo managed to find a Air B&B in Mervale and we centralised our caching from this point. This was our last day of caching for this weekend in this lovely city.
Decided to drag Mr-Mcgoo out of bed early again this morning and go to pick up a few caches in the CBD before too many muggles got out of bed.
After finding GC6YN1B - Otakaro 33: Locke'd Walnuts, this was the next cache that we decided that we would go for next. The chauffeur managed to make his way towards GZ coming in via Te Orewai Place and we finally got a parking spot in the first parking spot that we saw on our right and then it was just a matter of making our way to GZ.
As we made our way towards GZ we decided to following the path as we really didnt need to go across the wet grass, it was still quite dark even though it was nearly 07:30 in the morning as the sun was still asleep.
Finally we managed to get near GZ and once there we noticed that there was a few options as to where the cache was going to be, but as luck should have it I managed to find its hiding spot very quickly and track down the cache from its very clever hiding spot.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back where we found it. Thanks La Vista for placing this cache here and for bringing us to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (13481). This cache could have taken longer if it wasnt for the co-ordinates being accurate.
Now it is time to go back to the car and as we started to work our way as to getting out of this place we decided that we would continue the way we were going only to find out that this was a cul de sac, so we had to do a small maneuver to turn around and go back out the way we came, but in the mean time waking up all the dogs in the neighborhood. Oh well thats caching[xx(]

Day 11 of my South island vacation. Today our journey was from Mount Cook back to Christchurch. On the way we made a couple of stops and I used my chance to find some geocaches.
In the evening I went out for a little walk to get my dinner. On the way I made some stops to find a couple of Caches.
Quick find here!

#486. Now that the wedding festivities are all over, time for an early morning walk around Avonside to pick up some caches. Nabbed this at 7.42 a.m. after initially checking the wrong metal on the opposite side of the pathway. Thanks La Vista.
No doubt La Vista will recall there used to be a multi here too. Roses all out and lavender smelling tops
Due to some reasons I had to stay for 6 days in Christchurch. In the end I was happy for this opportunity, started to like the city and had a lot of time for searching some caches.
Thank you to all the owner for hiding. Had a lot of fun! Sorry for the standard log, but I can't remember them in Detail.
Wish you all the best.

We were at a b-day party in Englefield and just about 200m from this cache. Went out on a dog walk around the block and tried looking for this while there was still some daylight left. Found it quite quickly. Turns out that the previous time we were looking at a completely wrong place.

This was the sixth day of my driving trip down to Oamaru for Geofest 2017. I stopped every five to ten kms or so along the way to grab a cache. This expanded my driving time to a total of two weeks to get there and home again. I ended up going a total of 3,500 kms.
Only a few roses still in bloom, but still a nice garden. TFTC.

It was dark and coords seem a bit out so we spent some time feeling around the metal constructions but soon enough gave up. Will come back in daytime.
