Archiving. The first cache is always special and sometimes rushed. Whilst a great idea, the location has proved difficult to manage given the area is constantly flooding when the heavy rains hit.
Sorry to see this one go. Perhaps Buoyancy 2 in a better location is required.

As little red is from NZ were very reluctant to search undergrowth. Especially since someone said snakes love holes just like that! Pity
We really enjoyed the search found the box first and the key find yes clever. Thanks for the fun
Found the tool box exposed. Went looking for the key and it took a few moments as it blended in with the dark background. Didn't quite have the right tool with me for an extraction so back to the car to top up. Came back and that's when the mozzies decided to assist.
Had to use the key to loosen up the mechanism as it feels like it's just starting to seize up. Signed the log and had a few problems trying to get the lock to engage. Again jiggled the key back and forwards until the lock engaged whilst swatting my assistants. TFTC Djmccullagh

Easy find, had to search a bit for the necessary impliments but soon had the cache. Thanks. Lots of flotsum after the recent rain.
I parked over the road in the shopping centre and followed the compass to a spot which i thought was rather exposed but it appears that it is well hidden from any muggles.
It didn't take long to find the cache and the additional equipment and I had come prepared with the right gear to get the job done.

I stopped by here a coupla weeks ago after logging your recently published multi so I could find out what was needed to retrieve container. Knowing September was right around the corner, I saved it for today so I would have a "B". Oh and a great opportunity to CITO as there was a lot of rubbish around "contraption", obviously previously used "tools" that were left there. TFTC djm.
Today was a day to find the caches of puzzles solved, but not found; to tackle some of the unusual caches and also some of the harder caches of the area. This one interested us and we were not disappointed. Found the tool location first. Much dexterity, a large a mount of fluid motion and some contortions obtained the required tool. A quick look located the cache home and successful use of the tool enabled us to sign the log. All pieces carefully replaced as found. A very well thought out cache and very enjoyable.

I was a bit unprepared for this one. First we had to wait for disc golf muggles to move along. The first time I realised there was an extra trick to this one, not quite as easy as I'd originally thought!
Lucky I had 2 kids with me, so I got them both to help me, the 3yr old wasn't keen but I promised her "treasure" (luckily the cache was well stocked to a 3yr olds eyes!) and with the 3 of us working together (and a quick dash to get some more of the required stuff) we retrieved the item we needed!
A clever idea and one the kids will be talking about for a while!

Had a very good idea of what was required here so brought the necessary equipment with me. Yep, just as I thought. Some simple prep work then voila, key in hand! Found the other container and unlocked the prize. Cache signed and all returned. Tftc Djmccullagh
Zardecoh and I met up this morning to join friends to gather a couple of puzzles. Afterwards we two headed further north for a couple of hours. We gathered a few caches for her that I had already found, then made our way across to this CO's two traditional caches.
I have heard a few comments about this one, and figured I knew what we'd need so came prepared, and we toddled off to GZ and started searching. Oh yep, first part found, and we got into it straight away, but soon realised two pairs of small-ish hands might be insufficient Zardecoh did some thinking, then produced a couple of items from her caching bag which we put to good use, then I topped up our other need from the nearby supply, and we tried again, with loud cheers as we had success [^] Right, now for part 2... a minute or so later that was located and we applied 1 to 2 and bingo! Smilies all around Lots of fun, especially with a buddy to help, so have a favourite point from me. TFTC, Djmccullagh.

Out for a morning caching with IolantheK in weather that was more suited to being snuggled up in bed. We headed to this one as it was one we both hadn't found before and lucky for me I had a buddy today. IolantheK was much better prepared than I was and came equipped. However once we got started we realised that we might need something else, and I was more prepared than I had originally thought finding something in my bag to help. We managed to finish step 1 and IolantheK managed to find step 2 right were I had already looked 5 minutes earlier. This was a great one to do with a buddy (good luck trying on your own). Fav point from me! TFTC

Another fine Autumn day for a drive around the northern Brisbane suburbs.
I like these and usually always arrive prepared for such necessities.
This was a little trickier than usual, but I had the required resources to complete the mission.
The extra touch was well done and worthy of a favourite point.
Cheers from Wagga Wagga in the Riverina, NSW.

This was my 37th find and 33rd different DT combination so far today - all gathered in my quest to qualify and complete the Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge (Qld) - GC5C5PB.
I had a pretty good idea what to expect and having parked across the road, wandered over with an appropriate tool of the trade. Problems - my tool did not have the appropriate capacity when flying solo. Either I needed a larger one or more fingers and hands. I just happened to have a larger device in the car. So large in fact, I didn't really need to use my finger and hands. Thankfully, there was a drinking fountain nearby.
With the key secured, the container was found nearby and my name was soon in the cache. All was replaced as found. An interesting field puzzle to complete solo.
Thanks for the cache, Djmccullagh!

Heading for home and still in need of a cache for the day. Madman04 joined me and I'm glad he did, I don't think I could have done it without him. Of course he was a bit put out when I got him wet I was pretty certain what would be waiting for us and sure enough at GZ we found out I was right. Luckily we had supplies in the car. A bit of this and that and then the cache was in hand. We signed the log and then replaced everything as it had been found.
Thanks for the cache Djmccullagh

Cache is under several feet of water. Likely the final piece has been washed away.
Will check up on as soon as the area is safe to do so.

This one was quite close to home so Bedmaker and I headed off this morning to attempt it.
We found out what we needed to do and after a few attempts had the first part of the cache in hand. It didn't take long to locate the other part and add our names to the log.
This was the first time I've seen one of these used this one. Thanks to the CO for the extra bit of fun.

Found with Tassiegirl13.
We'd heard a little about this cache so thought it might be handy to take a certain item along to help with the find.
At GZ we soon saw the 'container', the item we had did help although it still took a bit of team work to finally extract it.
With it finally in hand we were easily able to get the cache and add our names to the log.
This was a great bit of fun and was a truly memorable find for us.

Thought my girls and I would find a cache after school pick up, the girls had a blast doing the puzzle, we all got soaked but team work got as there in the end lol. differently my favourite so far tftc
On my own today, cycling around filling in time while waiting for the car to be fixed. Not even a geo-hound to help me out, let alone the practical Mr Seizer. But where there's a will as they say, and soon the prize was liberated.
Neat cache Dimccullagh. I look forward to more

Eaten alive.. Definitely do not attempt this one without mossie repellent. A tricky first cache. Can't wait to find more
After abit of determination and patients, finally found. Did this one with family, wasn't too keen on walking thru the scrub. Need alot of aerogard. Getting bitten. Good hide, Tftc we enjoyed it.
I had read about this one when it went live and had a good idea what was required. Arriving onsite with my partner we were briefly distracted by the Frisbee golf course nearby! If only we had brought one with us. The cache itself proved a small challenge and with my fingers stretched in a position uniquely familar to learning the recorder in primary school we proceeded to complete the field puzzle. Awesome! Didn't get it first time and a refill run did take place but finally we had the key in hand. Recovered and returned the cache taking nothing but leaving a few magic cards and a well earned fav point. Defs different and Enjoyable. TFTC.
Today I was out trying out my new Christmas present and it brought me straight to this cache.
It was like a cache I did a while ago "Shaving The Yak" as one thing led to another to be able to get to the final thing I needed which was the log.
We had the equipment needed but we needed extras. There was an ant nest in the final which we cleaned out.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Djmccullagh All good with this cache

After a couple of DNFs and a couple of aborted tree climbs I was hoping to redeem myself by soloing this teamwork cache.
First a bit of recon. Both items found, no problem. Formed a plan in my head, then back to the car to 'build' a tool. back to GZ and straight to work. about a minute later I had the cache open, signing the log.
In hindsight I was lucky to get the key out with the tool I was using. I've seen both of these ideas before but this is the first time I've see both in the same cache. A favourite point from me. I look forward to your next cache. TFTC

I thought about attempting FTF on this when the email came through, but it was dark and I was already in my pyjamas. So I didn't worry about it until the next night, when I checked the logs after my Legally Blonde rehearsal and found that nothing had been logged yet. Oooh, a possible FTF still up for grabs?? So I called in on my way home, found the various parts and required "tools" and made the find.... Darn it! FTF was already gone. Oh well, I had fun on my first cache in a few months.
Thanks for the cache .

{*FTF*} 20:17 Found with Omaster, EngPhil, barbbowman, FastEd 59 and Orange Crew. New cache message came through to omaster & we thought it was a bit far but headed out to have a look. Didn't take long to find, nice cache & good to have a team to retrieve.

{*FTF*} 20:17 Found with Aerial_Tennille, EngPhil, barbbowman, FastEd 59 and Orange Crew, The message of a new cache came and I thought maybe it was a little far but some doubt was in my mind when the message came From Membsec to ask if we were going for it. That made our mind up and we jumped in the car. Not really sure of direction we were not that quick but arrived around the same time as others and joined the hunt. It wasn't long until all was found and then to get into it. After a short time we were in and empty log book was signed.

Joint *FTF* tonight with a motley group of finely tuned cacheologists. I was putting junior to bed when the alarm rang, so was delayed springing into action. Grabbed the essential equipment and arrived in time to see the necessary components had been located but the task was still proving a challenge. A little bit if this here, that there, everyone hold your tongues just right aaaand... Got it. Jubilation! My contribution was the least but I am glad to say we did it as a team in the truest sense of the word. Thanks for placing this challenging traditional, nicely done.
We haven't done a lot of caching lately but when friends hide a cache we simply must head out and find it. A quick search had everything we needed. Except the key. This way, that way, poured water everywhere but where I was aiming. We really could have used another set of hands. Grrrr ok got it. In this moment of excitement I forgot what I had been doing and got wet again.
Dropped of a travel bug we have been holding onto until we could find a large enough cache for it. TFTC. A great one for your first hide .

Sitting at home when the notification came through. Thought about it for a bit and thought what the heck let's go. No time for shoes, thongs will do. Wrong , must remember to pack spare shoes in car.
Heading towards GZ and we start reading description. Oh no, left caching tools at home. Seems ok though, have enough stuff in the car to do the job. Reading further on and we think, "I hope some of the others are coming"
Find a spot to park and see a car already here. There's a torch light, which they try to hide. Find out EngPhil is already on scene, but had not found the cache. Look behind us to see omaster and Aerial_Tennille right behind us. A short time later Orange Crew rocks up and a new FTF frenzy crew has been born [^]. Sorry membsec
So with all the parts and required tools in place it was time for the crew to get to work and a short time later the log was extracted. No signatures, smiles all round, log signed and everything replaced as found.
Photo time, then time for a chat before heading home.
Lots of fun. TFTC
