Accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks doscrapbooking for the cache.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 143 - Augathella to Miles via Morven, Mitchell and Roma. I set myself quite a long day today and I even had a few caches available to find along the way. It was a steady day of driving with a nice break in Mitchell for some Labs as well as a cache or two. The temperature has been dropping the further east I have come so it has been nice during the days and getting a little cold at nights. A great change from only week ago. I stayed at the Miles show ground and cooked dinner at the van. Tomorrow is th shortish drive to Toowoomba.I am not sure if this is a rest area or just a gravel camp. It at least was a good spot to stop and wander through the long dry grass to the cache to sign the log. Thanks for the cache doscrapbooking49099.5 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2012 Cache Guardians A#230**Albida**

Today was day 2 of the trip out to Charleville for QOGM. Travelling with Chamad, we made an early start in Miles and travelled all the way to Charleville; collecting caches that either of us needed along the way.
Day 2 of my outback travels and the start of my Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster trip for 2022. While Triple Turmoil and I headed out to meet up with the others, it gave us time to grab a few caches along the way. We were aiming to be at the campsite at a reasonable hour so as we could set up in the daylight and see what is around at camp. This was all in readiness for our continuation from last year’s event and a very successful team collaboration with Willis007 and Jacs Team.
Today was a drive from Miles to Charleville, grabbing caches and adventure labs along the way. It was a fun day and we found all caches fairly easily. We signed the logs and replaced caches as found. Thanks for the hides and maintaining them

Found with silverfox1970 and firebatman88 during our epic outback adventure. This was our first day of adventure and we weren't disappointed. Travelled from Brisbane for QOGM 22 and had a great time. Thanks for placing so that we could find it. All is good with this cache. TFTC.
We are here for QOGM 22 and have been finding treasures all over the place. Thank you for bringing us to the area and for all the effort in placing these caches.
Just to let you know there is a bit of rubbish that needs to be remove.

I’m off on my annual 6 week adventure and it is back to Outback Queensland to finish off what I started last time but got interrupted along the way.
It is nice and quiet on the roads this morning and I’m now in NSW and the weather can only get better to what Melbourne is at the moment.
It was time to leave Surat and head to my next destination which is the Muckadilla Bup (if you ever go there you will realise my spelling).
Plenty of room to pull up here especially with a van in tow and sadly the area was accumulating a fair bit of rubbish again.
The cache was soon spotted and signed.
Thanks jpgordo TFTFC

Up from TASSIE on a ten week tour. Still Roamin' 'Round Roma today, so a bit of shopping, cheap diesel, and half a dozen or so caches before lunch, including this slightly sneaky hide. Thanks for another one jp. P.S. this area is accumulating rubbish again, including a big bag full at GZ.

A quick find with frmen1. Alas, this has become a dumping site. Cache was all good. Good off road parking. TFTC
#13563 - 9:45:00 AM; Day three of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune and after spending the night in Surat, set out to collect the local caches before heading further afield. It would be a long day on the road as we added counties to our caching maps. The many places visited included Roma, Muckadilla, Wallumbilla, Jackson, Taroom, Theodore and Eidsvold and on to Mundubbera for the night. All caches were found in good order unless otherwise noted in the logs. All logs were signed L.L10n and Sdl or vice versa. Apologies for the largely generic logs [:o)] TFTC jpgordo
Day 3 of a road trip to Townsville to with LuckyL10n and today we drove from Surat through Roma, Muckadilla, Wallumbilla, Taroom, Theodore, Eidsvold and Mundubbera were we finished for the day.
Lots of different caches found, all without any major issues. We dodge the floodwaters around Surat although the bridge is certainly under threat of going under in the next few days.
Thanks to all caches owners. Most logs were signed SDL / L Lion.

The sun had come out again, but who knows if it will stay?
We decided to make hay while the sun shines, and so continued our drive, finding a few more here in Roma.
Thanks jpgordo

A lot of very smelly good scraps rubbish- the dogs were pleased to have a good roll around in it! Might need to remind myself to keep garbage bags in the car when caching

Last day in town. Time to make the trip home. Thoroughly enjoyed our time out west. Already started planning the next trip!
Not much scares me. Being on the night watch I’ve seen pretty much everything. But the president of the Fools Guild makes my skin crawl. Dr Whiteface, the head joculator, makes even the hardest mans heart turn cold.

Whirlwind trip around to grab a few LGA's, AL WP's and out of the way oldies before heading out to QOGM. I think we have shares in BP but seeing several little places for the first time is quite rewarding and most enjoyable. Good hide and a quick find for us today, thanks CO.

Grabbed while traveling our wonderful country. Day trip from Roma to Mitchell. TFTC jpgordo.
An easy find after waiting for the traffic to clear so one could turn in.
Well, this journey started about 12 months or more ago, skip 2020 and we find ourselves planning a long-overdue road trip. This means one thing ... a cache run would be involved. One or two different routes where planned caches were studied, some more than others (manly puzzle styles), and a plan was hatched.
It includes the most number of puzzles we have ever solved personally, Wherigo's, and even a few 'FTF' (FTF) FTF caches. The distance that was driven is approx. 3500 km. Over some 10 days. 14km of muddy, red, and black soil 4wd only slip-sliding heart-pumping road - which we got through without incident only to get bogged a while later on the side of a tar road doing a U-turn.
The total number of caches found is yet to be determined, could also depend upon my logging them, as those who know me also know my lack of logging or length of time to do so could mean the correct total will never be shown. Still, it’s not about the numbers.
Logs have been signed with any one of the following, JABs, FWBs, TasReach, MEMO, or TR. Often depended upon who was signing the logbook, time of the day, length of the days caching run, sleep-deprived state, condition of the logbook. Penned often in the first available spot (except in the case of new cache), in between other cache's names. Hopefully to help extend the life of a logbook. The date was not often recorded, again to save room and maybe a little time.
Distance travel is undetermined, basically, fly from Hobart to Brisbane, drive northerly to Gympie, out through Gayndah, Monto to the Westwood, and then term west straight out to Longreach, with a part-day layover to collect all those 92 solved puzzles. Home is hopefully via Jericho, south through Mexico and into Blackall then down and cross to Roma, Toowoomba Brissie and fly home.
Meeting up with great family friends of ours to share part of this journey MEMO, the cache name TasReach or TR for short was born, been both Tasmania and Longreach. So wished each cache could have its own story, but in that case, I would never finish logging. So I thought a long story was better than a TFTC. But hey thanks for the cache anyway.
JABs.

A day of R&R in Roma, quick find, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to jpgordo
I thought at 1st it may have been missing with the rubbish around, but did locate it tucked away.

Quick park and grab. Log is almost full (maybe two more signatures before going back for spots elsewhere on log). Sorry we didn't have spares with us. We normally do but space prevented us from bringing the supplies box out of our other geomobile. TFTC
My muggle husband and I are on our way to Mt Isa and we are making a smiley map of our trip. This was our 11thfind today. After lunch at Roma we headed here. At gz it was a quick find. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
