No luck today. I saw an empty spot up high where it could poke? Will come back with the family.
Damn really hoping for a find unfortunately it was not at gz even messaged the last find
Cacher has notified us that there is a temporary fence erected, cutting off access to this cache. The cache is still in position and we will enable it again when it is accessible once more.

Arrived at this one to find GZ locked off by a construction fence, so it might not be available for a while.
Thanks anyway goingplaces2

My Boyfriend and I raced here to find it. We had to jump a safety fence to find it and had too look everywhere. It was so small but so much fun!
The hottest day ever I think that we have headed out caching - even the bison tubes were piping hot We tried to choose the cooler parts of the day but it did not quite work. This was one we were able to find. Thanks to goingplaces2 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
It is a nice little park, even if we felt we were heading into somebody's front yard to get there ... we weren't, of course. The prize was cleverly hidden - tftc!

Nice easy find. Had to hang around before returning as a few muggles appeared.
Nice easy find. Had to hang around before returning as a few muggles appeared.
I'm back working in the area for a few weeks.
Having caught up on some well overdue online logging, I was eager to pick up some more caches on the way into work.
GZ was easily found and the cache spotted quite quickly, although stealth had to be used to retrieve it. There were Muggle school kids getting into their family car in the neighbouring house. Once the coast was clear I quickly snapped up the cache, signed the log and returned to its spot.
Find: 380
3rd of 9 finds for today
0 DNFs for today
Cache: in good condition
Log/Logbook: The log seems to be missing the top part but is in n good condition with room left.

I always love finding nanos, this is a really cute, little find . Younger geocachers may need a leg up to reach.
Streak Day #1427 - After unsuccessful attempts at others we came by here for a quick find. TFTC
Found with Snoopy1976 tonight in the rain after a DNF at a nearby cache and unable to get to another due to the track being flooded. TFTC
I've looked for this cache a couple of times previously without success, so wasn't going to bother having another go at it today when I was in Riverstone ... until I read some recent logs from others who had had come back after suffering similar frustrations here. And I'm glad I did as it's now a very straightforward find. Thanks goingplaces2.
Finally! I think this is my 6th visit and I even got to know a neighbour over my visits! he knows about the cache, but not about it in its current form. TFTC.
Did not even attempt. Cycling down towards the end of the cul-de-sac here quite a bit of heated outside commotion at the end house so I choose to quickly turn around and seek a more meek and mild cache.
#1118 came here previously for a DNF I think I was in the correct location but there was a new sign nearby advising that the council had been doing some work. This time I parked in the same spot & walked towards GZ watching the groups at the play equipment. Just as I got near GZ they moved off and I had the park to myself. Retrieved the cache signed the log and replaced as found thanks for the cache goingplaces2

Found the base upon which I believe it should be magnetically attached, but nothing attached. Maybe a fifth visit is needed. Maybe?
I was out with the WaywardWoman this morning to find seven caches to take me to 5999 finds. This was the sixth find for the morning. An instant find, it turned out, right where you would have thought it would be placed. Thanks
#4013- I had tried for this one twice at least before. Once I was just clueless, the second time it had been moved and I simply had nano blindness. The CO gave me some instructions on this and yes, this time I found it. Many thanks- thank you- good to turn this nemesis into a smilie at last.
This is my first time doing this Now is it at the point on the map or in that For example we at the park do need to search the hole park
In Sydney for the morning for work and decided to grab a few random caches on the way home. A quick find in the logical place. TNLN TFTC
#3466 (2 of 11 today)
For this afternoon's caching, I decided to aim myself up Old Windsor Road and clean up the odd unfound cache sitting in a sea of smileys.
A few of the caches cleaned up were previous DNFs.
In the end I went for 11 caches and found all of them. HUZZAH!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Second attempt of the day. Second previous DNF.
And again I found this one really easily.
I'm POSITIVE I checked this spot last time and it wasn't there. Well, I guess I have missed this type of hide before. I'll just blame the cobwebs.
Took to a bench and completed signing duties. Then replaced.
I'm on a roll today!

I feel like this is going to be my nemesis cache. I came here several times before the hide was changed and couldn't find it. After a great morning out caching, I was feeling very hopeful of getting this and still had no luck....
Found yesterday while picking up a few caches around Riverstone and surrounding area. Clever hide TFTC
Did a maintenance check on this cache and found that it had disappeared, probably due to the activities of muggle kids. It has now been replaced in a very close place which is more of a traditional type hide. The difficulty rating has been changed to reflect this.
It is now back in action again. Cache on!

Was a street away so thought I'd have a go.
Spent 5 mins poking around before noticing previous DNF's. DOH!

Clue didn't make much sense. Looked at activity from previous finds and still couldn't find.
No luck with this one, even though looking everywhere that could match the hint.
Out with Team Merlin to find our daily cache to keep our streak going. We were back in the area. Back to try our luck to break our DNF streaks. As we have been here on many occasions and assistance from the CO we knew where to head for GZ. Today we made a very quick find of a well hidden cache. With the cache in hand, we both signed the log before returning as found. Both the log and cache container are in excellent condition.
Finally a smilly!!!!

Out with JJCC for a cache run before work in order to find our daily cache to keep our streak going. After several frustrating visits and subsequent DNFs, we visited the park again several weeks ago and finally found the hide location ...only to discover the cache container was missing. Despite having a quick search around the area we couldn't find the container at the time. An email to the CO confirmed we had found the location and in the meantime CO did some maintenance after finding the container nearby and returning it to its hide location.
Passing close by today we detoured over to the park and made a very quick find, knowing exactly where to go. With the cache safely in hand, we both signed the log before replacing as found, nice and secure for the next cacher. Both the cache and log are in excellent condition.

Easy find for miss 8, thanks to the clue about holes. Found with taxiontherun and physoduckie
Had the park all to myself this arvo with just enough time to check the two obvious structures given the hint, before a mummy muggle pulled up with a pram & two mini muggles at the nearby playground - and so I headed off still scratching my head
Dude! Awesome work!! Took me 3 goes! 3rd times the charm!! Lucky we had a lil dude who likes looking at holes! Lol
Visited today for another look but came away only with a DNF.
Will return another day.

Being such a hot day we knew our caching would be limited so headed for the park and the shade. Reading some old logs this appeared tricky. We soon dismissed some locations and looked at others but with no luck until shifting again to then spot the hid. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Came back today and put my hand straight on it so it had returned to its spot - I definitely felt it last time but then lost it. Good to know I wasn't mad. Signed and replaced.
Thanks!
Thanks!
We did a check on this one and found it was very close to its original position and is still in play and waiting to be found. Keep looking!
Okay I was a bit sidetracked at first checking things matching the hint but realised there was more to this. Searched one possible hiding spot then the smaller one. At this point I am certain I felt the cache drop out of my hand but then I couldn't find it. I found where it had been but I fear it's disappeared into debris. I had a good dig through but came up with nothing except some nasty looking insect larvae.
So I would think it needs maintenance, sorry.

CO cache check performed. Cache is in its place and waiting to be found. Cache on!
Decided to head back up Windsor Road today, and then stopped once I'd got to Riverstone. Plenty of possible finds up this way, and I did indeed hit the jackpot with 15 finds (plenty of Blundo Busters' Train Spotter series actually found), 1 DNF and an "OOPS, I'll call that a DNF too".
Back home via Annangrove Road for a few more finds before heading for home well before dusk.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Early DNF in today's hunt.
After checking the hint I'm confident this is gone. Really only two areas to check and both were wipeouts.
Cache check required.

Out with JJCC doing a cache run before an afternoon meeting in Windsor. Dropped by the park to find Ridgeview but we came up with a DNF in the period we looked today. Searched the obvious metallic places just in case, then expanded our search into others not so obvious spot. Although we didn't find it today, we will be back for another look.
Thanks for the adventure goingplaces2

Claimed a DNF for this Rideview cache today with Team Merlin. We had an ideal what we were looking for but with both of us looking around this hidden park. Nothing at indicated GZ so we widen our search took a seat but no luck. We will return to look another day.
When I met you a few years back at a CITO event in Rouse Hill, I thought you were such lovely people. Yet here I am searching for a nano? Seriously though, this one had me stumped for a few minutes. After the GPS bounced around with the tree cover, I looked at the hint. Ahhh, should be easy. Hmm, that's not turning up what I expected. Maybe the co-ords are out - how about over here? Nope. Ok, went out into the open and took a bearing towards GZ. Saw something interesting in the first place where I would consider hiding a cache. Hahaha, sneaky. Thanks goingplaces2!
#459 - Geocaching Live for Windows Phone
This was the only find for today. About a week ago, Geomum and I attempted this cache because it filled in a missing date on my dates hidden calendar but we had no luck. Given we had explored every inch of the trees where a cache could be hidden, I knew I would need a TAF. Today, I received some helpful information so when I was between seeing students and the rain was holding off, I made my second attempt. Again, the compass app was leading me in circles and I tried every conceivable place which matched my information. About 20 mins after starting searching, I checked a spot one more time and suddenly, I felt something move - CIH. SL. TFTC.

Great day for caching with sevabo. Yes it was a very trick one and brilliant hide! Thank you goingplaces2 for bringing us here. t
Surprised to find it easily compared to last week . ? thank you for leading us here ??
I'm so sad as I thought I wouldnt have a problem finding it after CO described where and how to find it. Anyway will come back again soon. Thanks for trying to help me out anyway ★★
After the event in Plumpton, sevabo and I came here and start to search for the cache but we couldn't find it after 10 mins then we gave it up so we will come back here soon. 1
Took a couple of minutes until it was found lying in the dirt. Could see how it was supposed to be so made a rudimentary attempt to put it back together. Great idea but felt very uncomfortable searching in trees while kids where at the playground. Tftc

Our last find for the day. I looked in the obvious spot, as indicated by the hint. No cache. So I checked a few logs. Oh, it's one of those ones where the hint is meant to deliberately mislead? With that knowledge I decided to waste only a minute of my time looking. So I gave the area a brief scan & spotted the cache.
Thanks

After a long abstinence from the game for me, thought I would start back with the one closest to home. Man what can I say. One of those caches. Why bother giving a clue it would still be as hard. After a paf who.put me on the right track finally spotted the bugger.
FOUND it a very sneaky cache . Geocaching family had 4. set of eyes looking for the cache and in no time found it . Well done Going Places 2 .TFTC .
I had to contact the Great Blue Mountains guru to find this one, thanks TC. A sneaky cache hide, somewhat like my 'Another Nasty Nano' hide.
I was expecting a view from on top of a ridge, but oh well, I still found a sneaky cache.
Thanks
Thanks
Parked geobeast on Oleander Crescent at 6am on a Sunday and read up previous logs and hint and judge that I could be here for some time. Quickly dismissed the obvious and moved onto the next most obvious, nothing!
Next I thought what the nano would be and that also revealed nothing, so after 20 minutes of looking here and there, I saw something from an different angle and had a DOH moment. Talk about sneaky. Sat on nearby bench and did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

14/12/14. 9:00 AM. Cache #2087. Streak day #175. 7th of 10 finds on Sunday morning; clearing out 2014 caches to the west of my range. Came here after a few around Eastern Creek, the last one being "Interchange Drive". This one had me perplexed for a while. It didn't take long to read logs and work out that the hint was slightly distracting (but not untruthful), but that didn't stop me from taking ages. Eventually I turned it up at an altitude that I hadn't thought of the first few times. Sneaky. On to "Celebrating 222" next. TFTC }:)
Wow! This is a very sneaky one. Investigated everything in sight before almost giving up. Then had another check in detail and found the little nano. TFTC.
No luck for me to find your cache - must be good hide spot?? Hint said magnetic??? anyway DNF for me. Thanks
Well the hint pointed to one place, but...... Nope.... Nothing there....... Spotted some likely spots and soon had CIH. TFTC

I had come out to GZ in the morning to look for this cache and come up empty handed, there were only a small number of possibilities that logically matched the hint. Having some time to think about my search strategy, I returned again in the afternoon and spotted the cache almost immediately. It's amazing what a bit of pondering time can do, I'm definitely not a morning person! SL TFTC goingplaces2!
