Id been here before and missed the chance to do the multi then so with a bit of preparation I knew to plan my trip better. An excellent set of waypoints, all so interesting individually, but when added together, it makes for a great day out. Highly recommend for your trip to the South Head area. Thank you Elev8!on [mrnoo17].
Found as part of a trial run for a Caching Tour for the 2025 Sydney GeoQuest Block Party
Thnx for supporting our way back from the lighthouse with this multi. So we could notice some more details we would have missed otherwise.
collected all our info backwards will back to collect another adventure daywe had such a fun amazing day here today ...we saw a whale and watched it get rescuedvisited very cool waypointsfound a nude beachsaw channel nine news do a story on the re-opening of the lighthouse, we were the first of the public to walk up the newly opened staircasewatched police rescue do some abseil training
Hint was perfect. Log saturated. Managed to write names. Fav is for the wander in such a beautiful area.Today in Sydney with Kittykatch to pick up a very cool multi country cache and some other good stuff Thanks for getting me out and about Elev8!on [mrnoo17]
Sydney TripFound with Joolay on a drive to Sydney to find some special caches. An interesting multi that took us to lots of really cool spots today. We brought our escooters but the tracks wasn't really well suited as there were too many stairs. Lots of great views and interesting things to see. Container was wet and the logbook was soaked though I managed to scribe our name on the wet log sheet. Cache needs maintenance. Thanks for the hide Elev8!on [mrnoo17]
A lovely sunny day in Sydney. Today to Watsons Bay, a few caches here and there and just walking around. Greetings from Finland Thank you for this cache.
Today raija485 and I did a lot of sight-seeing and at the same time, of course, we did geocaching. We found several caches during the day and this was one of them. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Finland!
A nice wander around the southern headlands, went to all the waypoints although I could have worked it all out by visiting a few, the first waypoint is currently under construction so a littler bit of guess work was had. Once at GZ the cache was found and is all goodIn Sydney today with a day off work between shifts so made the most of it and had 3 virtuals I wanted to target. I headed to Kyeemagh first before catching the ferry out to the south heads of the harbour. A lovely day out Thanks for the cache
Nice walk along the shore here. I skipped a couple stages as I knew I didn't really need them. Looked for a little bit at the coords and made the find after ignoring the hint. Thanks!
Daaannkkke fr diesen tollen Multi. Fav fr die tollen Aussichten und das tricky final im jungen!---Hier automatisch bersetzt:8:50 or 10:50 in the morning in Germany. What a lovely tour on Christmas Day! The signs and information are well translated. Then late in the dark the good hiding place was found, but there were 2 ground levels. When we came up the beautiful final path, we thought we were in the jungle. A thousand different crickets played music on their violins. And the rain pattered through the leaves. As a team, we searched in all the holes with sticks because we were afraid of waking up a snake or poisonous spider. At S 33 49.996' E 151 16.808' then climbed down and found a logbook and immediately set it up as a cache for the event https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCAH7QW_sail-away-into-boxing-day the next day .
this was a fun multi. the description for each waypoint was clear and easy to follow. there wasn't a garbled heap of sums to do at the end. i had no problems finding the info and i enjoyed everywhere it led me.well worthy of an easy favourite point.i was muggled out at the final, mid search. and in such an auspicious location i had to explain myself. they were most amused and when i found the cache, relieved i wasn't entirely mad.thank you Elev8!on for creating this long but entertaining and historical multi. a nonspoiler photo from the day.
7th day of my trip to Sydney and Tasmania. Together with my niece (she is living here for 1 year) we went this nice coastal walk again, passing this small cache.TFTC

Sydney Day 7: McMahons Point - South Head - Everleigh - Sydney Park - Belmore
Today’s agenda was a whirlwind of a journey, as I had promised to bring my partner over to Watsons Bay (which I have touted as my favourite place in Sydney) and them, later, to have dinner with the in-laws over in Belmore. That meant that there was a lot of travelling to be done today, on top of clearing up some of the outstanding caches on my Sydney to-do list. So, round and round I go, by ferry, light rail and train to complete another fruitful caching day.
(End of the cut and paste bit)
The other highlight of my Watsons Bay circuit was this one, and I am glad that I managed to gain the prize at the end. Quite the lengthy Multicache, but I appreciate the history that it highlighted, which added to the overall experience of our walk here today. The cache was spotted in a quiet little spot, safely tucked in its hidey hole. All is well within, though the logsheet is a tad damp, but still serviceable. TFT Multicache!

Log is sodden added new paper in new bag. Not litre container only small sistema. Thanks for the trek.
Well named it certainly was a wander but on a sunny day it made for a great walk with magnificent views. The cache itself was a surprise being a lot smaller than expected and it needs attention as the log was soaked. TFTC

Nalezeno společně s Radoshordos během měsíčního výletu do Malajsie, Singapuru, Bruneje a Austrálie, kde byla hlavním cílem celého výletu Tasmánie. Singapore se zároveň stává mojí 39. navštívenou zemí a Austrálie mojí 40. navštívenou zemí.
Keš jsem našel během chvilky společně s Radoshordos. Děkuji za přivedení na další zajímavé místo a za další bod do sbírky.
Zdravím z České republiky.
Found it during a one-month trip together with Radoshordos to Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Australia, where Tasmania's was main destination of the whole vacation. Singapore is also becoming my 39th visited country and Australia my 40th visited country.
I found the cash in a moment with Radoshordos. Thank you for bringing me to another interesting place and for the next point to the collection. Greetings from the Czech Republic.

What a mission that was. Glad there were some trads along the way. I found all WP's easy enough, and got some numbers to throw togthor for GZ. Arrived at GZ, and wondered, where.... Had a scrath around, changed levels, another scratch around in between muggles. Read the hint, so that gave me something more specific, but i misread it, and realised this once I had searched again, found nothing, and started reading previous logs. Right, that makes more sense. Seems the container has changed, and is full fowwater. Log is mush. See photo. Other than the diapointing final container, its probably worthy of a fav.
A DNF here sadly despite some great hints and communication from the CO. I found the hint item but no sign of the cache for me. Never mind, a great walk around Watsons Bay
Couldn’t find the green lid. Search all around the lighthouse. May be because we are novices.
Thoroughly enjoyed my wander today and had no problems finding the final, really enjoyed the south head trail. TFTC the logbook is very soggy.
In Sydney for work so came up a day earlier. Great sunny day so explored Watson's Bay and other areas.
Loved the walk and area. Fav. Log book soaked.
Thanks to Elev8!on for the fun and the adventure.

Thanks to Elev8!on for the fun and the adventure.
Found it just with the last light! What a great walk with a stop on the beach. The logbook is completely soaked.
Collected the info while doing one of my regular runs, which certainly added an interesting historical dimension and taught me new things about the area. The cache itself was a quick find, which I greatly appreciated because I was immediately assaulted by mosquitoes at GZ. TFTC!
Woohoo! A long time since I've done a multi this long! Collected all the clues after a fantastic walk up to the lighthouse. Then to the final location. Unfortunately cache is wet abd log rather soaked. Still writeable though. Easy grab with no one around. Thanks for a fantastic walk around an area of Sydney I've never visited before.
#12385 - 2:18:00 PM; In Sydney for a few days with the geohoney and decided today to head to Watson's Bay for lunch at the pub. Arrived early, so after grabbing a cache at the pier, headed out to the lighthouse for a wander and a spot of caching as well. This cache wasn't originally on the radar, but after checking the listing and realising most of the waypoints were along our return route, I decided to give it a go. Did a backtrack to WP2, but then it was pretty much all smooth sailing, so to speak, despite the gale force winds. Encountered four skindivers at WP4 and asked if they'd managed to circumsise the whale they were after (foreskin divers - dad joke, sorry, but they had a chuckle!). Did the calculations over lunch and then headed off to GZ for the find before hopping on the bus to Bondi Beach. Emptied the water out of the cache container, but the log book was nice and dry inside the ziplok bag. Great tour. TFTC Elev8!on [mrnoo17]
Mrs Gaztek completed six of the eight stops yesterday and just couldn't let it rest. So early this morning, I came out to visit where Australia's first governor landed and to work out how far it is to Sydney. Not many people around this morning and the skies were grey and threatening drizzle. Did the required manipulations to work out the final coordinates and headed to GZ. Was a bit puzzled on arrival and poked around a bit. Then I read the hint closely and sure enough, the container turned up. It was very wet inside but the log is dry inside a plastic bag. I dried the container out the best I could and replaced it.
Thank you for an enjoyable educational and scenic tour of Watsons Bay. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

On a grey, drizzly day made brighter by the fact that this is the first day out of 15 weeks of Covid 'locko' for Sydneysiders, Mrs Gaztek made her way around 6 of the 8 stops. I'd forgotten how spectacular this area was. Will return before long to collect the rest. Cheers... Gaztek
Thanks goes to the CO for this awesome multi cache, the history lesson and showing us around the wonderful sights of Watson. After a few minor corrections we finally figured out the final GZ.
The day before this find, I had lunch in this same area some 50 metres away. As I had ran out of the yesterday, I had to return today to obtain the smiley face to have a CIH moment.
A fairly straight forward find for Geo-Bunny once at the final GZ coords. A normal amount of muggles in this area. Replaced the log book as the log sheet was unsignable as it was very wet. Dried out the container and old log sheet as best as I could.
With signing duties conducted, the cache was replaced as found ready for the next Watson Geocache Wanders.
Thanks once again, Elev8!on for this awesome MC. Cheers.

Did the waypoints as we were finding the traditionals along the way. And ate some fish and chips after.
Thanks for the history and cache (cache itself had water lying in it, put new bit of paper but it will probably just get wet again)
Some great views along the way (photo not at GZ)

Wow, this is a big multi!
I haven't done one like this before it was a little difficult to remember each way point whilst we were searching for traditionals in between. Luckily Michelle was on the ball.
Thanks for the tour around the area and we had some well deserved fish & chips for lunch as we walked around.

Yay!!! 1250 cache. I really liked this cache. Discovering Watsons Bay. I have a similar one in Gladesville.
Wow, I really enjoyed each and every wpt. I started at the last one because that's where I had parked and picked up these along the way as I made my way around the coastline to various beautiful view points. I finally had all the information I needed and off to GZ, here I was disappointed because I found a flooded cache, badly in need of some TLC. There is no lid on the camo, and the container was floating in a pool of stinky stagnant water. The location was easy to find as the cache had floated to the top and was visible. I fished it out of its pond and opened it. A flood of water drained out and the logbook bag was also full which meant the log was unusable. I dried it off as best I could, and put in a new piece of paper as the log and removed the sodden mess. Sorry but I had to throw this stinking mess out. I place the swag back in the dried out camo container as it doesn't matter if they get wet, but there is no lid anymore. I placed the cache container with the piece of paper I left as a log behind the brick described in the hint. Great idea and a nice walk but GZ is in a flood zone.
This is an extremely amazing multi. I had an amazing time just wondering through Watson Bay. Thanks for all your effort in putting it together. TFTC
Great multi with a lot of information and great spots! Did the waypoints of a couple of different days, today I needed to do 1 more wp and then of to gz. A little bit bit of yellow coming trough was my luck. Despite double container the content is getting very damp.

While in the area completing the AL, I managed to get revenge on my DNF a month ago. This time I read the hint carefully and found it immediately. But the cache was full of water and log was soaked and mushy. Added a dry sheet. Drained it as much as possible but it needs TLC. TFTC
While in the area grabbing a TFTC, I took the opportunity to wander around and collect all the digits. Enjoyed all the WPs and details easily located. With GZ coords in hand I headed there. No muggles about but I had no luck in spotting the cache. I check with a previous finder, confirmed I had them correct. Not my day it seems. Or it is missing? Probably the former. I think I should have read the hint better. Thanks anyway for the enjoyable sights. I shall return.
Got final coordinates but location didn’t match the hint, couldn’t look too thoroughly around the area due to crowds. Confident about my coordinates so I will try and come earlier next Time.
What a great way to spend a few hours on a lovely winter morning. At GZ I almost gave up until I took the ground level clue seriously. Sadly both containers were full of water and the log is soaked so I couldn’t sign. Still a FP from me. TFTC.
Fresh set of eyes and a quieter day resulted in a find, as I was about to give up when I magically appeared!! Outer container was partially open so perhaps an original lid may be missing? Otherwise the cache was in decent condition. Unfortunately no pen on me as this was a spur of the moment “I’m walking past let’s have a second look” Great multi, favourite awarded.
A few people around today which made it a bit tricky. Will come back another day with fresh eyes!
Thanks for a great multi! I’ve been to Watson’s Bay a good few times over the years but this took me to parts of it I didn’t know existed.
As for the cache itself...it’s a bit worse for wear after the recent rain ️ The outer and inner containers were full of water. The log book is in tact but too wet to sign. I rescued a tb.
Still a great find but just needs some maintenance. TFTC!

We spent the day trying to avoid crowds and this worked and kept us busy. Then we picked up some groceries and decided to self isolate until our flight. The sun was out which was a change from our visit in Feb where we wore rain gear for three days. Log is wet.
I went to the top of the cliffs to find the virtual by the light house and after a short debate, I decided to do this one.
The virtual waypoints went by quickly, the questions were straight forward and we'll thought out. I enjoyed each of the locations that they took me to.
I was coming close to the end. I had walked the whole thing, as it's a bit cumbersome to do on and off the motorcycle. I thought I had all the right answers, but there's always that thought that I could be wrong.
I was a little hesitant at the final location, not sure of what this place was, but the lure of finding this long cache, kept me moving towards the solved coordinates.
The coordinates were spot on and my geo instincts, helped lead me right to it. Excellent hide.
Thanks for the find.

Killing time while geowife was out on a fishing charter today and this was the perfect multi to kill the time. Loved all the history here and working out GZ was easy. Finding the cache was also sneaky as I haven’t seen this sort of hind before. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

Found during my holidays in Australia. Today I took the ferry to Watsons Bay. While exploring the area, I also tried to find some caches. The waypoints could be found easily and the required information could lead my to the final.
Thanks for this multi.

19,337. Found with minniek during a meander around the South Head region.
Day 2 of our kid-free weekend caching in Sydney. We had decided to visit this area for the Virtual, the views, the trigs, and because I have some relatives 'residing' in the area. Next find of the day, and more interesting history of the area. We really enjoy these types of multis. Grabbing waypoints as we do other bonus caches. Once at GZ it was a quick find by minniek. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Elev8!on !!

A nice weekend away with fitzy_1965 where we glamped (motel) rather than camped!
Day two saw us caching around Watson Bay area and then off home again just as the rain arrived.
I absolutely loved this multi. So many places of interest in a small area. Picked up bonus trads along the way. It was also my 200th multi so I now qualify for a challenge cache in Canberra.
Thanks Elev8!on. Fav point from me.

I enjoy these multis that take you around historic sights. I might have been a historian in a previous life.
Anyway, Ms Atalanta and I found the first four yesterday and I went out and found the remainder (and the cache) today.
Removed a TB too which will be heading way north in a week or so.

Found Today with Not Bad Good Cach after work. A great lesson in history of the Watson Bay area. Thank you!!!
What a wonderful ramble and great cache. Geohusband jumped when he lifted the notebook out, had to examine the critter to ensure it wasn't real. such a nice spot. thanks!
I'd put off this cache until, well I don't know.....no good reason really.
Today I combined it with a couple of ferry rides, lunch by the harbour and a walk round Watson's Bay. I noticed once I read all the cache information that I actually knew where all the waypoints were.
It was a lovely walk on a cool autumn morning. That should read The Cool Autumn morning as we haven't really had any yet this year.
Perfect! I enjoyed the walk most of which I did in the reverse order, that is 5 to 1, and gathered the information as I went.
This really is a most spectacular part of Sydney Harbour. It would be beautiful to see at night!
Once I had all the numbers I calculated the final GZ but the GPS couldn't decide which direction I should go, N,S,E or W? I decided which was the most likely direction and headed off. The arrow still didn't like the way I was going but the distance decreased so I walked on and soon the GPS began to play along.
Although I knew all the locations of the waypoints I have never walked to GZ, also a nice spot!
I couldn't see anything there and the hint was of no help as it seems someone has stored picnic gear there. It hides the hint spot and the cache. Still when I found nothing I became suspicious and moved the equipment slightly which proved helpful!! Signed the logbook and rehid the cache. Hope no one was is upset with me moving their table and bbq, just a little.
Wonderful place to spend a day, definitely deserves a favourite point from me.

Late afternoon cache run with JJCC exploring South Head and the Sydney Harbour National Park. After collecting all of the information at the various waypoints we soon had a set of coordinates for GZ. Initially we searched on the higher ground, but after reevaluating or elevation we quickly made the find. With the cache in hand we both signed or name before replacing everything as found. TFTC! Busy day walking around Watsons Bay to start adding some smileys to the area. Lovely walk of a few hours up to the lighthouse, back down to the gap and then on to the ferry to get back home!
This one was the sixth of the day once we gathered the clues for the multi. It took us a bit longer to find as there were muggles bbqing in the area so we had to be extra stealthy! Easy to find with the hint, just be careful and don't wander into the nearby bees' area! Loads of people today although it was not a sunny day! Loved the area! Thanks for hiding and maintaining mrnoo17!

What a great way to see this beautiful area. Lovely day with a nice cool sea breeze. Thanks for organising this Multi. Fav point awarded from us as really enjoyed this TFTC
Great multi! Usually avoid 8-stage multis but this is well worth doing. It’s a bit longer than a 2k walk if you start and finish at the ferry though! Good camo for the finish but it was a bit of a mozzie trap for us so we skedaddled once found and signed. Definite fave, TFTC!
The plan for this sunny Sunday was to have a stroll somewhere around Watsons Bay, Bondi and Bronte .... and well, I have to remind myself, it is the second of December and the sun is shining full blast (I am not used to that as in the Northern hemisphere this is definitely not the case at this time of the year ). So while I was strolling around, I was also looking for a cache here and there. This multicache was a perfect fit on my way and I really liked it a lot as it was a very good guide around the place. Therefore I will leave a favourite point behind [^]. Now there is a bright yellow smile on my map here too [^]. Thanks

Out today in Watsons Bay with Calypso62, TJ_Awsome and GeoBrother Colin, to complete 8 Caches.
This was 7 of 8.
What an epic walk around Watsons Bay.
We got the ferry from Circular Quay and arrived at Watsons Bay. We header to WP1 and collected the required information. We continued ticking off all the WP's and completed other nearby caches along the way.
We collected all the information and then worked out were GZ was and headed there.
We soon had the container in our hands. Very cleaver hiding spot.
We walked about 8km all over Watsons Bay.
This has been an amazing day and cache.

Today, the GeoFamily came on a geo-adventure to Watsons Bay particularly to target this cache and the Hornby Lighthouse virtual. All waypoints were easily found and were very interesting to see. I really enjoyed our wander around Watsons Bay gathering all the info to calculate GZ. I can see why this one scored a "Geocache Of The Month" award. Well done Elev8!on. Adding my FP to the list. Cheers.
Elev8!on [mrnoo17] I found your cache Watson Wander on 29/9/18, 1:28 pm. This is my find 2111 and find # 2 today. Great day for a walk around Watson Bay. Gathered all the required information, WP3, just need the right angle and light to see the numbers and WP4 had me scratching my head, must be the wording. Did the calculations and came up with coordinates that looked right. At GZ had a good look around until I saw something out of place. Yep, that's it, great camo job. Thanks for the cache and the history! TNSLLN
Out and about with Hoojar this morning.
Managed to gather information on our travels and then two key further pieces of information on our wander to South Head. After some other caches we headed to GZ and the hint helped us make a quick find. TFTC!

After finding my 10,000th geocache nearby, steeba and I headed out and about around the South Head and Vaucluse area to find some other caches. A great morning despite the odd rain shower, just over 20 traditional finds, with a few Earth Caches and a Virtual thrown in for good measure.
Steeba had done most of the leg work on this one, leaving us with just a couple of spots to visit this morning. One final guess and we were at GZ opening the container. Thanks for the explore of the area.
Thanks to all of the cache hiders for their efforts in placing and maintaining their hides. It was fantastic exploring this part of the world that I seldom get to.
Cheers

All the WPs were straightforward and it was a nice walk.
There was a wedding near the cache, so that made finding it a little tricky, but we got there in the end!

(3 of 3 today)
Last week the Geowife mentioned coming to Watson's Bay / South Head for a look around the light house.
Decided on today for a number of reasons - despite the wind - and after two leisurely ferry rides we had lunch and a wander.
All up I found three caches - the last only when I worked out I had "plenty" of time before the return ferry arrived.
A nice day all round, and we had a nice sunset to watch as we were taking the ferry ride home.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
And this makes three different cache types for the day!
If I'd been paying attention once we arrived at Watson's Bay, I'd have collected almost all the clues before I reached the lighthouse - well at least I did them pretty much in order.
No problems getting all the info, the only issue once GZ was calculated was, "Do I have time for the search and get to the ferry on time?"
Answer - just thanks to a muggle and their dog near GZ that I had to wait for before I started the search.
Nice quick find and sign, luckily. Replaced and then dashed off to the wharf.
Hey, I still had 2 minutes to spare!
A number of really interesting waypoints equals a favourite here.

Found with morry9.
Today, I teamed up with morry9 to hunt for more Hidden Creatures, as we fast approach the final week of the geocaching June / July 2018 promotion.
As we were about to meet up, a newly published Virtual Cache popped up over at Watsons Bay, ‘Hornby Lighthouse’ (GC7B831). So, we raced over to this beautiful part of Sydney to attempt a joint First To Find. We managed to find parking nearby Camp Cove and walked over to the lighthouse. We snapped a photo each and uploaded to our log. It seems we were the first log and claim a joint First To Find! Very happy to get another First To Find on a rare Virtual Rewards Cache.
We decided to stick around the Watsons Bay and Vaucluse area for the rest of the morning, as there still plenty of unfound caches for both of us to grab.
The day started off as a cold winter’s morning but it soon warmed up as we quickly got on a roll with the finds. A fun day out and pleased with the result, edging ever closer towards the Dragon and the ultimate World Turtle digital souvenir. A good excuse to venture out in the depths of the inviting urban forest, that is Sydney this time of year.
Thanks For The Caches to the respective Cache Owners.

My first multicache, I've ever attempted! Really enjoyed the walk.
I think that were the cache was hidden was a let down, all the other places were very nice but this wasn't.
This was my 100th find and I am happy that it was my first multi.
TFTC and adventure!

The South head lighthouse was my target today, and I really enjoyed the walk to the light house. A taking a Gazzilion photos, on this sunny day, I then started this multi. A fantastic journey was had, taking me to some wonderful places. Great for a tourist like myself to enjoy being led from place to place. The cache, once all the WP's had been visited, was quickly found using the hint. A favorite point for this cracker of a Multi.
Thanks **Elev8!on**

Visiting from California. Visited Bondi beach today.took the bus to watson bay and did this easy hike to the lighthouse gathering answers all along the way. Ate at doyle’s and then went out to find this before the ferry arrived. Definitely needed the hint for the final. Thanks for an afternoon of geocaching. TFTC
First Multi in a while. Really enjoyed the tour. Thr GZ makes me feel a bit anxious and I was on the verge of giving up but my desire to have the Pikachu travel bug join my adventure kept me going.
Moments later the whole gang is now together. (See photo)

My first multi! Did the loop around the south head before arriving at GZ. Headed back towards Camp Cove, every now and again stopping at a waypoint or another cache. Finished the last few waypoints and quickly had the final coordinates. Arrived at the destination and made the find. Tftc!
Made it ! All the WPs were clear, except for WP4, which I still don't understand, unless M is month (but that doesn't fit, so that can't be it). Anyway, there was only one number that fitted, so no problem. I found the WPs in a different order than listed, as I went from GC & GA finds to the next. A lovely walk and scenery. I dropped off 'Pikachu' TB and picked up two others. TFTC Elev8!on [mrnoo17].
Back again! Out of the clutches of the doctors and my family with strict instructions to drink more water and wear a hat ! Collected the remaining numbers needed, did the sums and was delighted to find it made sense and led me to a likely looking place. Saw GZ immediately- and ignored it Found eventually- brilliant! Was able to leave a couple of TBs ; thank you so much- I was put off initially by the number of stages but it takes you past other caches and the places you want to see anyway in Watsons Bay. TFTC! A fave, of course!
