Bit tricky with a bung knee but found it. Little miss loved being on the beach in winter. TFTC

This one is not quite so easy to find at dusk. Luckily, one of the pictures gave us some clue, which leads to finally finding the cache. Nice camo! But after opening the container, we realised only then that we didn't have a pen with us, and there's none in the container either. Asked lots of people on the jetty for a little "pen support" but no luck. Therefore, we took a picture as proof of finding the cache. Definitely will bring a pen with us if we revisit this place in the future.

Thanks for the cache, mitchwell. Night at Henley Beach is beautiful.

We did this a couple of weeks ago on an icy day at the beach. There was even one teenage girl in a bikini going for a swim, brrrrr.

A relatively quick find, then on with our stroll.

After my birthday dinner at the Life Savers (yummy) we ventured down to the sand in the dark. So much easier without all the tractors and dozers asleep. The 3 other times I have tried to do this cache the workers watched what I was doing so I had to abandon because I didn't want to give the game away Smile Anyway, cool cache on my front doorstep. TFTC.

Big changes happening at Henley.

Found with Normanville Sister Act after a well deserved coffee at Evida's. Wasn't sure cache would still be there after the storms and development that is happening. Please to say it was there. Unfortunately my biro ran out so marked the log with lipstick. Hope that is acceptable. Will go back and log correctly another time.

Wow. Quiet Wednesday morning out munzee ing along the river and the traffic flow sort of sent me on to the beach. Came for a munzee or two and found this gz empty despite the day warming up. On a Xmas Eve mission to wear out the boy and earn us a good night's sleep, we hit the Torrens bike track for a few caches and then finished up at Henley Beach for lunch. After walking to the end of the pier, we grabbed this one before lunch. Awesome camo! TFTC mitchwell! Smile

Rode down a few nights ago, but didn't want to leave the bike as I had no lock, so continued onwards.
Tonight we were down grabbing lollies from Foodland for Gingerbread house decorating (they have an awesome variety here), before heading over the road to grab the kid.
A nice quick find, then a quick paddle before heading home.
A glorious stretch of coast here, and why we enjoy living near the beach, and not in the East.
Also watched the sun setSmile

Ahhh !! Smell that fresh sea air Razz
Many muggles were doing just that.
At least I had GZ more or less to meself Smile

I was surprised how many possible hiding places I found here, and took way too long to finally sight the sneaky cache Big Grin
The camo made me laugh, very appropriate for the location [^]

I needed to fill a hole in my calendar and as this one is close to work I decided to make a small detour on the way home to go and find the cache. Big Grin
Arrived at GZ and knew where to look, I just didn't know what I was looking for. [?]
There were a few muggles around, but none were taking any notice of me. Smile
Searched for a while, then came across something that warranted further investigation, and yes it was a cache. CoolCool
Signed the log and replaced as found. [^]
Thanks for the cache mitchwell, great fun and a favourite. Big Grin

I am not one to chase newly released traditionals, but when one is released within 200m from home, I kinda felt obliged to go and have a look.

And I am mighty glad I did! *FTF* indeed and nicely done camo as well. Enough to award some encouragement in the shape of a favourite vote.
Hopefully it’ll last the summer and will get a few extra people to my beloved Henley Beach.

27-Nov-14

This one came up while I was in the car with Dame Locus so we figured we would check it out - esp as we were less than 1000 km away (you know Locus?). There looked like a "find" of cachers at GZ and I could have sworn I heard the word nano as I rolled up,........ about to ask for the cache to be handed over.

Nope, I was mistaken. A group of muggles less than a metre from GZ.

Luckily there were at the wrong altitude.

Locus and I locused the cache and opened it up. Unfortunately not a halleluiah moment. Beaten! Razz

We settled for another silver for the night and moved on .......

clear skies

So much for an early night, when there is a FTF that several people haven't found that is just sitting and waiting to be claimed! Wink
One lovely evening, which of course turned into morning, trip that ended up with my finding 7 caches Smile, including the elusive FTF.

Brodie dog and I had received a call and so we headed out and picked up Astro, then went caching. Cool
Try as I might, though, I couldn't get him to stay out past midnight for just one more cache, so I did the last 3 on my own on my way home.

We thought might have been lucky enough to get a FTF here but silver for us tonight, following in the roach's footsteps but it's all good as we found the FTF cache that the roach couldn't find Wink
Brodie enjoyed his romp on the beach, short though it was!

A quick find of a cute cache Cool The only thing missing was the sun with which to see to log by, however my hand held sun (torch) soon provided that.

TNLN. SL. TFTC mitchwell Smile
