No response from the owner within the last 28 Days and as per the original note this cache has been archived. If you wish to replace it please submit a new cache via [this link](https://www.geocaching.com/play/hide).
I noticed that this cache has been temporarily disabled for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the *archive listing* link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, **please log a note to the cache** (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.

Well that sucks, the relevance of the clue no longer exists now the garden has been redone completely
From the Strathfield Council newsletter:
Wallis Reserve Garden
Works have commenced to restore Wallis Reserve Garden back to its beautiful original state from the 1960s with installation of 150 roses, repairing irrigation, and reinstating the sundial and pergola. Works will be completed in three weeks and the garden will be closed during this time.

No luck today.
The hint pointed to an obvious spot but i wasnt able to find the cache anywhere even when i expanded my search.
Maybe im just blind today.
Ill have to come back another day.

A bit discouraged by the previous DNF but after a long search I soon had CIH.

I pass by this road often and have I this geoache once before. I thought I might see if it’s still there after it got cleaned up. Unfortunately was not able to find it. :/
found it! Was difficult with people watching us:/ cute little flower arch tho:)
Located at 3:57pm. Another great little find. Had the park entirely to myself. Made my mark and replaced. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
Yay found it! Unfortunately, BMX501 and I both forgot to bring pens. You can see the attached photo for proof of our finds. TFTC!
Muggels on one bench, a postman having a lunchtime nap on another. Perhaps some other time.
Returned after caching along the cycleway to find I had the park to myself. Saw the little heart in the center and it was soon CIH. TFTC SBMT.
Find 3 of 4 for the day while out exploring Strathfield.
Another nice little reserve in the Bushes and Fields series. The kids loved the 'flower tunnel' which we sheltered in during a very light sprinkle of rain. While they waited I made the quick find. Cache is in great condition and plenty of room left on the log. Dropped some swag and noticed a nice crocheted leaf and inside the cache!
Thanks for the cache SBMT, another lovely reserve!

Tftc! Driven past this park so many times but never stopped to look. Thank you for bringing us to this lovely garden.
A very smart clue. You should always read, and memorise the entire clue.
If you only remember half of it, it will take you twice as log to find. Fav point.

after contemplating the trees and garden beds, the hint suddenly hit me when I turned around. Nice! And the hint meant even more when I inspected more closely. This cache was the eight cache for me of a great morning with the GeoBro. TFTC
Last one for the day after a great streak in the area. Need a clue for Strathfield Park though as my GPS jumps around.

Needed to fill a calendar gap so targeted this series on a hot morning. This was my first stop and a quick find. I guess I know what I'm looking for now.

OCW with Mrs A today. First signature in the new log.
Most of the series were a straight forward finds with the exception of two we had to DNF. There are some great parks in the Homebush/Strathfield area and we enjoyed the series. We also were impressed by the regular maintenance by the CO. TFTC skyebomonkeytowm.

Well that was nearly embarrassing! It took me a while to find it as it has suffered cache creep however it's still pretty much in the right spot. A new log has been left and the old removed. Merry Christmas everyone!
Time for a nice drive around the area doing some park and grabs .No room to write my username. TFTC
Returned to do the Bushes & Fields series and found this one in no time thanks to old logs. Signed the last spot so will need a new log

Didn't find it after searching for about 20 mins with the bf. May try again another day
Took a short detour whilst driving around to find this one. A nice little park, and easy to find.
Found with morry9 after another failed attempt at being the First To Find at the ageing 'Not so, Miner...' Traditional Cache over in Greenacre. Not wanting to come away empty handed, morry9 and I decided to find a few caches on the way back from Greenacre. Thankfully, we had much better luck with 'Bushes and Fields - Allan Davidson Oval Airey Park', 'Cricket Hat Trick v2.0', 'Bushes and Fields - Pilgrim Park', 'I got a FTF in the Cook Islands... In Thongs!' and 'Bushes and Fields - Wallis Reserve'. All were relatively quick and easy finds for us, on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Signed Log, Took Nothing Left Nothing for each one. Thanks For The Caches skyebomonkeytown!

From the moment we pulled up at this park I was ohhhing & ahhing, What a beautiful spot to stop & enjoy the simple things, nature, fresh air, sunshine, birds singing & bee's buzzing.
If you look at skyebomonkeytown's photo below you will see me taking a photo of a bee on the wattle nearby. Sneaky sneaky.
Cache found in no "time" at all..wink wink.

Perfect day to jump on the bike and collect some more caches. This time it was the Strathfield area i wanted to learn about. Thank you for the series and showing me these parks. All the caches were in a fine condition when i found them. A few not hidden as well as they should have been. So a bit more foliage has been placed on top.
First timers falling in love with new activity. Great for our little ones 3 & 5!

**So, I needed a Cache for the day, to keep up my Cache Streak. (234)**
I've also downloaded and play 'Pokemon Go' in conjunction with my Geocaching. I was driving home from work and selected this one, as I will be going through SBMT series. At GZ, I loved the hint, and made the quick find. I also noted that the actual PokeStop is directly on top of the cache.
I've taken a couple of photos and compared the two games.

Today C wanted to go for caches near trainstations homebush and flemington.
The weatherforecast was not so good, so the umbrella and raincoat were put in the bag.
But when she left the train the clouds were mostly gone.
The only water came from the trees.
The park was deserted, so C started resting under the flowers and leaves.
But the cache also had a high priority.
The hint made the spot clear, with the correct time it had to be an easy one.
That was right, C could leave our teamname in the logbook.
At the end she has found 12 caches and walked more than 12km, so for every cache a kilometer
Thanks for this one.

Nice quick find in an empty park this afternoon, the first spot I looked after noticing the camo. Another clue noted, thanks skye.
A short walk over from Strathfield Park brought us to this small but nice little park. The hint said it all. Even a seat nearby to relax and sign the log. Thanks Skyebomonkeytown for bringing us here.
A nice quite suburban park. The sundial wasn't designed for daylight savings, otherwise it would have been correct at 1pm, thanks.
Group of people nearby but on our way back from a nearby cache we had a clear shot. Very easy, found it in 2 seconds, made up for our DNF
This truly is a serene place. I took the time to sit for a bit and enjoy the view. TFTC
After arriving in this pretty little park, and having read the poetic clue, I spotted where the cache would most likely be. Walked straight up to it, put my hand down, and the cache was revealed. Nice addition with the cotton reel inside. Took a seat. signed the log, and looked at the flowers. Aghhhh. TFTC
