As the final is no longer accessible to the public due to redevelopment, I’ve seen it as a sign that it’s time for the series to go, opening up these wonderful green spaces to others for some new whiz bang hides! Do not come to look for the cache as I have removed it.
First one for the day. First time at this park and what nice park. Not too hard to find but no room on log.
Out today with Slim Shady Shadow. Thought we might as well find this cache considering it was so close. Like he said in his post, very easy find. TFTC!
Nice park - only visited a few times before despite living in the neighbourhood for several years a while back. Tftc - log sheet now full - I squeezed a shortened version of my username
skyebomonkeytown I found your cache Bushes and Fields - Strathfield Park on 16/2/19, 12:30 pm. This is my find 2277 and find # 8 today. After a brief search soon had CIH. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
First find of the day! Looked all over where I expected it to be, but turned out it was on the ground nearby. We signed the log and returned it to it's home. TFTC!
Plenty of muggles around. Thankfully they were on the on the soccer pitch and mostly blocked from view by the trees and shrubs.
Thanks.

Decided to check up on this cache as it has been about 3 years since I found it last! Still one of the best geocaches!
What a lovely walkway and an amazing kids park just up from it. Clue made perfect sense once we were at GZ- not at all what we were expecting. The last finder had returned the cache in a way that meant the log was hanging in full view, so we saw the log before we saw the cache. Returned it so everything was well hidden. TFTC and for bringing us to this lovely park and walkway.
Find 3 of 3 for the morning while out with the geokiddies exploring Strathfield.
This park is AWESOME! If you have kids this park and cache is a must. With all the recently upgraded play areas to explore I knew this would be our last stop for the day. I managed to prise the kids away from all the playgrounds and other fun just long enough to walk through the rainforest path and find this one. Approaching GZ a possible structure for the hide was spotted. Soon enough the sneaky hide was found, a tricky little one. Signed the log and noted the last piece of info I needed to make an attempt on the final! Yay! All in good order here. Then it was back to the bike track for geoboy to scooter around some more. This gave me plenty of time to workout the final but this will have to wait for another day....
Thanks for a great morning out caching SBMT and for introducing us to this park! We will be back to this one again I’m sure!

My apologies to all COs as I am catching up on 57 caches to log, so this log is not going to be worthy of the effort they have put in.

Nice find with Ris768 while the park was full of people playing soccer. Nice position for the cache as you are mostly hidden from view across the park. thanks Skyebomonkeytown for placing this cache.

Located at 4:00pm. Still awaiting my Baba to finish her appointment, I quickly sleuthed out this hide. I’m slowly converting all the caches in this area to yellow smileys. Happy to log another. Many thanks Skyebomonkeytown. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
Last time I was here, 16 months, I could not find the cache. Today I spotted it straight away.
This was a dnf from ages ago. Thought I might avenge today ...
Did final already. Even without clue..

What a lovely little rainforest walkway. I even got a spray from the sprinklers which added to the environment. Thanks to the generous hint it was a quick find. TFTC
Easy! When I was looking I found this odd thing so I took and there it was! The log!
New cache placed at same location, same kind of hide so the hint is still relevant, it's just a slightly different type. Cache on!

I have found this geocache but someone has slid it through the side of the structure it was once (i assume) attached to. I will try to get it out. Am marking as find as I can see it and am positive it has been moved. Will need maintenance.
Found it exactly where I thought it was on the first attempt . Thanks for replacing!
Gave up after 10. Very uncomfortable with the path in use and soccer watches keeping on turning and watching me. Not fun but was a nice park.
After three successful finds, this one had to be a dnf. Found a likely spot that makes sense with the hint but only just a giant rock inside. Will come back as soon as someone finds it again.
I really don't think it's there anymore. After 3 months of no one finding it I just don't think it is there. Searched everywhere and no luck. Come check on it sometime SBMT
After asking Skye for a clue and having a decent look around Cache is not there. May have been muggled for sure because I had a real good look there.
Nice area though. Will return when cache is returned.

Needed to fill a calendar gap so targeted this series on a hot morning. This was my second stop. Lots of council vehicles taking up parking spots. Did a lap and spotted a slightly different hide to the first one.

Another quick detour on the way home from work. It's a popular footpath through the park and there were plenty of muggles about. I had to quickly grab the cache while no one was looking the walk some distance away to sign the log, and then another well timed walk to replace it without being seen.
OCW with Mrs A today. First signature in the new log.
Most of the series were a straight forward finds with the exception of two we had to DNF. There are some great parks in the Homebush/Strathfield area and we enjoyed the series. We also were impressed by the regular maintenance by the CO. TFTC skyebomonkeytowm.

Great minds think alike - this one was replaced today and is ready to be found!
This one will be replaced next weekend at the latest, if not replaced during this coming week (if I can get there after work). Thanks for your patience!
We had a thorough look, but we couldn't find it. We may be missing something though.
After looking I could not see a cache. The previous DNF reinforced in my mind more confidence than the previous find.
After discussions with CO, a big fat hint and further searching, we think this one had gone.
#11 and my last in this great series. What a great park to finish in - its beautiful. Fav Point ! SL TFTC

We were in the area for the Gluten Free Expo at Sydney Olympic Park and decided to grab a few caches in the area afterwards. It was a lovely sunny Saturday.
We enjoyed this little forest walk. Another quick find in the series.

Found.TFTC. Lovely park. Lots of muggles on a beautiful sunny day. Needed tool to retrieve the cache.
I was blown away by this park, So much green space & great facilities for all. Skyebomonkeytown & I walked from our last stop & did a full outside loop, Pokemon catching, cache finding & log signing on the way.
I loved the rain forest feel, the native plants & flowers. It was great to see families out enjoying the weekend, I was grateful to be out enjoying it too with such great company.

Perfect day to jump on the bike and collect some more caches. This time it was the Strathfield area i wanted to learn about. Thank you for the series and showing me these parks. All the caches were in a fine condition when i found them. A few not hidden as well as they should have been. So a bit more foliage has been placed on top.
Today C wanted to go for caches near trainstations homebush and flemington.
The weatherforecast was not so good, so the umbrella and raincoat were put in the bag.
But when she left the train the clouds were mostly gone.
The only water came from the trees.
At the playground there were no kids playing football, only a few hikers.
Also the guard was closing the changing-rooms, so even less muggles.
The GZ was even deserted, so C could look for the cache. It only took her a second to figure out were to look. That was the exact spot she retrieved the cache from.
At the end she has found 12 caches and walked more than 12km, so for every cache a kilometer
Thanks for this one.

Streak Day #1039 - Decided to do a cache out this way today for a nice drive and what a lovely park to take a walk in the park. Took a few mins between runners to find the cache but we got there in the end. TFTC
