don't like logging DNFs as it's probably just me (short stuff who can't see WITH glasses ^^) but this seems to be the rule rather than exception for this cache looked in every hole/crevasse/rock area, anything that remotely looked like it could be magnetic but no luck
A string of dnfs .....not found since Oct 2015. Would co or previous finder please confirm the cache is in place. Thanks
Not sure if it was just me being vertically challenged or I was looking in the wrong spot, but I couldn't find this one.
We looked everywhere high and low for this cache. Even with the help of the hint we were unable to find the cache.
Visiting Stanthorpe, picking up supplies, we were there, and lifting the geo-child up as high as I could, we got it!
It's gone from where we first found it. Took the kids for a geocache. Def no where to be found
Forgot a pen! A bit high for our munchkin though. Lucky we had a tallish person
What a great region this is! We have spent the last few days enjoying the scenery, the attractions, and also the caches.Thank you to the COs of all of these caches for their diligence and thoughtfulness in giving visitors to this region a vast number of little (and not so little) gems to discover and the opportunity to see so much countryside which quite possibly could never have been seen except to a very select number of passers-by. We have had a great time thank you!
Out and about in the Stanthorpe area for a few days so I headed out to grab a few caches. There were puzzles from the MEGA and a power trail or two, thanks to all CO's for placing them. I managed to find a variety of caches in some very interesting locations, this was one of them.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Hi there AussieScouter. We found your cache "Carnarvon Bridge" at 12:12:00 PM today. This cache makes our find count 10862.

When the Mega Event was on over Easter we spent the majority of our time socialising, and very little time 'caching. So we have returned to attempt some of the caches that we missed out on.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Came back to do some more caches that we missed at Mega.
I told geopartner that you the CO told me about this one.
Headed into GZ and I spotted the cache and geopartner retrieved it for me.
Had to shield from the muggles at the picnic table but they were looking elsewhere.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks AussieScouter All good with this cache

Bristracker and I came to find this cache because the pub wasn't open for dinner orders yet. How better to pass the time but by finding a cache or two. It sure beats sitting at the table twiddling your thumbs. As we arrived near GZ we spied a youngish couple already on site and obviously cache hunting also. They hadn't found it yet so we joined forces while chatting. We learned that they were brand new to geocaching this weekend. They'd been out finding some this morning then went home to feed the family lunch. During the afternoon they couldn't resist and went out cache hunting again. We spotted them in the evening when they'd already been home and had dinner and come out yet again. It was great to feel their enthusiasm. Cache was found, log was over full, so we got a new log from our geomobile and put the new one in. Thanks Aussie Scouter for the cache and the fun. [^][^]
xxx is on fire today. She spots the cache quickly. Actually, it is easy to hide a bigger cache at GZ. Hope CO will hide a larger container here.

Came to the end of our mega event trip, thanks for bringing me here, greetings from hong kong.
It was at this cache that we met a couple of new cachers, curious about all the fuss at the MEGA in their town. Once it was e xplained they were off and away. In fact it was one of them who found the cache before this more experienced exponent. Aussie Liahona place a new log, and the CO walked past just as we were doing so.
Found while attending the 2015 Mega - Was asked to assist another cacher whose caching name escapes me as I write this - she was too short to reach the hide.

Everyone is heading home but I thought I would find a few more before getting underway. One or two turned into ten in no time and then I headed for home. Thanks to AussieScouter for hiding this cache.
Found whilst attending Easter Mega at Stanthorpe Qld. Rain had stopped and the fog lifted to reveal a beautiful sunny day perfect for resuming my hunt for another cache in the area. SL.TFTC!
Picked up with HappyFeet and Grumpybump as we were doing the Apple Series
ThanksAussieScouter

Found with a small group assault during the mega weekend. Thanks for adding to the event!
Collected this one while heading back to the car, dropped by and grabbed this one to finish the event!
Found on Day 4 of the Stanthorpe Mega event trip. I started at Stan's Apple 01 and headed around town with Gunnie69, doing some of the Stan Apple caches, before heading west to gather the elementary series. The day ended with me going solo around the Quart Pot Creek.

Found it with Team FIN [kapeka & laalaa]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Australian Capital Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

Day 4 at the MEGA, and it's gonna be a big one [^] I'm planning to get 10 different cache types today, in the company of T-Tech and Nurseyjulie.
It's just about time to attend the Flash Mob Event, and we parked near to this one and grabbed it along the way. A bit of a stretch for me, but a smilie TFTC, AussieScouter.

Day 3 of our weekend at the Mega in Stanthorpe and we are out and about in the rain, yet again. Only ducks and cachers would be silly enough to be out in this. Anyway, onwards we went and found this cache quite quickly, a good hide. About with misschief18, B/dale Bandits and Bentley TB

Day 3 - Variety is the spice of geo-life
Finally the day was here to add a "Mega" icon to my list of cache types. Everyone was racing around in search of 8, 9 or 10 cache types in a day. Honestly I was happy with just one but did manage seven (?) different types including a lab cache.
Last one for the day after a short wander from the nearby flash mob event.....Lets see.... Mystery (1) Earthcache (2), Lab cache (3), Traditional (4), CITO (5), MEGA (6) and Event (7). In hindsight I should really have grabbed that letterbox cache we drove past at some stage but 7 in a day is still better than my previous effort of 5 types in a day.
Found with: Just me
Traditional Caches Found: 19
Mystery Caches Found: 11 (9 Stan's Apple & 2 Challenge)
Events Attended: 3
Earthcaches Found: 1
Thanks for the cache AussieScouter and thanks again to the committee and helpers involved with making the 2015 QLD Mega a great way to explore the area.

Had a great day out caching with Zobo04 and Lazzal. The weather was much better today so we managed to get out and find a few caches in some very interesting areas. Thanks to all the CO's for the hard work in placing and maintaining these caches for us to enjoy. TFTCAussieScouter
We were here during the 2010/2011 floods & can remember a kind of whirlpool that had formed near the bridge that was pretty fascinating. Today the area was nice & tranquil. Apart from the millions of cachers that is!

So todays target was to get as many icons as possible and after some working out, we managed to get 8 icons today (missed out on the Earthcache icons as we logged it the day before ). I was happy with 8 icons today
We started off on the Wherigo, then off to get some traditionals, followed by doing a CITO around Quart Pot Creek while collecting caches along the walk. We then went and completed the Multi, followed by a Letterbox Hybrid, then off to the Flash Mob we went. After the Flash Mob was completed, we went off to get a puzzle (and I went for a swim for a puzzle lol) then to finalise the day, it was finally time to log the MEGA event.
We had a wicked time at the Mega this year and met lots of new people, did heaps of path tag trading and enjoyed the entertainment provided.
Thanks AussieScouter for placing this cache for us to make a find on

Out doing the 10 cache types in a day with Selva Girls, Dutchie1950 and TriciaC2.
We arrived early and had some time to spare before the flash mob so we wandered over to find this one while we waited. Lots of other cachers had the same idea so with many searchers it didn't take long to find. Once someone else found it we just had to wait our turn to sign the log.

Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA
The plan for RW and I for the day was to collect as many cache icons as we could, which ended up being 8 (we logged the nearby earthcache the day before ), as well as picking up any puzzles and random trads along the way.
Thanks to all of the CO's for placing the caches for us to collect on another fun day

Ghostgums and I nipped over to this one after the nearby Flash Mob has concluded. A short stroll from where we parked, we were at GZ and I quickly located the cache. With the container in hand and the log extracted, we were spotted by Team Robins as they made their way across the river (Not literally of course), so I ducked to hide but it was too late... They joined us momentarily while we finished up and the container was dropped back in place.
All done, all of us shot through.
Cheers AussieScouter.

A new Stanthorpe day dawned
Still a bit drizzly, so I wasn't game to ride too far from towne
First stop was here
And while I poked around in the shelter of the structure, a muggle wandered past and asked "Have you found it yet ?"
Methinks a lot of the locals know what is happening around their delightful little citadel over Easter
Last nights concert and fireworks at the showgrounds probably kept a lot of them up past their bedtimes
Here under the bridge, a cache came to paw after 'bout 10 minutes.
I was expecting something a bit bigger
That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it

This was a easy find for us as we just followed the crowd already gathered here.

We spent the day exploring Stanthorpe and its surrounding area. So many wonderful caches have been placed showing us spots we wouldn't normally have travelled to. A great day spent geocaching with our friends from this side of the country. Thanks to all who provided these caches for us to find.
Found after a quick hunt. Main problem was stopping the kids going here in a direct line and falling in the river on the way.
Ummm i think i have seen a few of these around lately but this one needs a new log book asap as it is full. Thanks for the cache nice easy find.
Flying around after the Flash Mob and thought i would zoom in on a few of the nearby caches. Met up with some magical people there.
Running around doing lab caches with gram4380 and decided i really should try and grab all the caches around town i've avoided (due to paranoia). Cache found quickly and in good condition. TFTC AussieScouter!
Found with Ali600 with the help of our mountain goat - Mr L from Team Canary, as we were heading to the flash mob event.
As we approached this one there was a group also approaching.

We were on our way to the Mega Flashmob and decided to stop here on our way. Pleasingly we ran into our mates Walandor (with wife and very cute baby boy) and then Team DNA. Angela sprang into action (literally) and I started crawling into unlikely places but Walandor made the find without getting his hands dirty at all.
Needless to say, the log sheet is incredibly crowded! TFTC today.

After the flash mob it looked like this was the place to be. Log was passed along the line for all to sign. TFTC.
While here at the Mega, it is customary to find a least a few caches. So as I was mostly looking after small boys while Mrs Esky collected smilies, today we all went out together so that I could gain at least one of each type while the opportunity was available.
After the flash mob in the nearby park, we checked for other caches nearby, and made our way across. This was a great cache to do with a fun game of "it goes up there" happening as each person handed the log onto the next.

It's Ozmega 2015 time and I found this cache on my four and a half day weekend. Woohoo. Lined up after the event
With the sun setting on the last day of the Stanthorpe Mega, I drove back to my motel to call the day. Then I remembered I hadn't signed Carnarvon Bridge cache due to the caching crowds after the Flash Mob event. Walked over in the dusk to find and log. Now the day is over. Thanks AussieScouter
