Logs
Due to repeated incidences of deliberate spoilers & photographs being posted on several online social media sites & in cache logs, by a small cadre of relatively new cachers , our caches no longer fit the D/T levels or challenges as intended.
Add to this the often spiteful/derogatory & negative comments logged and/or posted online by these same few people, an increase in 'muggle' (?) interference & the disappearance (?) of several caches in recent days, as well as verbal attacks in general conversation, & we have come to the unfortunate decision that it just isn't worth wasting our time, effort & money on placing & maintaining caches any longer.
Following repeated requests for these people to respect the caches, the COs & to follow Groundspeak guidelines by amending their behaviour, which was met with 'We can do what we like!', we no longer wish to be the subject of a few spiteful individuals' attacks & rather choose to enjoy our caching experience without their input.
We thank all those that have enjoyed our caches & responded positively & in the true spirit of Geocaching & can only apologise to those who this decision may disappoint.
As always ...

Had to stop looking a few times due to muggle activity, but eventually had a break and was able to retrieve the cache from its clever hiding place. TFTC Vegan Cachers
I'd intended to come over this way today primarily to search for a few solved puzzles in my folder, but since I was in the area I picked a few nearby traditionals that attracted me (mainly the ones where the D/T ratings interested me)
So anyhow, this one was one I definitely wanted to have a go at, as from the logs it looked like it might be an interesting one, and the D3 was handy for me as well, as I'm trying to keep my overall D/T rating up if I can. So that means staying away from D1/T1's for a while at least
A few muggles about today so I had to be pretty careful here. I found this one pretty quickly actually, as it was the only spot that seemed to fit in with the hint. I'm pleased that hint is available as otherwise I could have been here for ages searching for this one! Great little hide and quite enjoyed finding this one [^]
Once the log sheet was signed and today's date added, everything was replaced as found all ready for the next intrepid geocacher to come in here and search for it
Thanks for the cache Vegan Cachers (VC)

The GPS didn't want to settle for this cache and had me in various places, but eventually I managed to get it down to a few meters and the checked what I thought would be the hiding spot with success. Had to wait out a few muggles though, seems i'm not the only person on holiday today. TFTC
A maintenance run today revealed that the cache is in great condition & is good to go.

We were scratching our heads a bit with this one. Mr. Herbz tried out a few things then spotted something that fitted and discovered this little fellow. Nicely done. TFTC.
I cottoned on to this hiding spot early on, it took a bit of brute strength to uncover it - the hint became clear as we walked away with another smiley. Tftc!
Started off from Wynnum north train station with plans to make it along to coast to Manly and then to Manly station. Didn't quite make it that far, a four year old slows you down quite a bit. So this was find 10/14.
The gps had me wandering all over the place and I tried one spot and thought, no it won't be there, but a second look a few minutes later and yep there it is!

This was a quick and easy find today. Spotted the likely hiding spot upon arrival and cache was soon in hand. Thanks for a great hide
That darn image has a lot to answer for.
Widened the search area when my apprentice in trng announced have you looked there?
It can't be there because....... Also I am not as strong as I used to be.

Out caching with the RoddyCs before attending the event tonight. After an earlier find we were able to focus on where we thought the cache was and finally we spotted it. Thanks VCs.
The Event tonight at Wynnum causes us to go geocaching in the afternoon beforehand! (Any excuse, after all!) The RoddyCs were in the company of Joojoo57 today.
Having experience with a similarly sized cache near the Library, today the find was much easier.
Log signed by all & replaced again. Found at 2.00pm on 18th July 2016. TFTC

DNF today!! Was with Marley38 and we spent about 30 mins looking and could not find it!!
After a long search last year found it this time at the very obvious spot:-)

A thorough upheaval of the area turned up nought. Much thinking outside the box before a return visit.
After a few hours of fun at the Wynnum Whales we came to the boardwalk to spend a bit of time exploring the mangrove habitats. I had selected 4 caches to look at whilst on the walk. Despite a reasonable search at each and having each area to ourselves we didn't find any of them.
OK. Not happy now as this is #2 we couldn't find. Is it cache blindness or the fact it is getting really really hot. Will have to try again next time in this area.
After spending far too much time at down by the sea #2 KerriMG and I were keen for a quick find here. But alas the constant stream of muggles made searching hard. But we talked about what we thought we needed to do so when the coast was clear off we searched. 40 minutes later still no cache we were hot, tired, thirsty and a little cranky (well I was). I didn't know where else to look so I resorted to PAF. A quick reply which left me speechless. But we tried there - right at the start! So tried again at a few places and yes there it is at the very first place we looked 40 minutes ago!! The most important part of the hint is hard! I'd like to say thanks Linden/6 but this was a hard find for me. But we did have a nice talk to a local
about birds and crabs and saw a lovely kingfisher. So lucky it was a nice area to spend a lot of time in. So TFTC Linden/6.

Out for the day with Nikid1 & we decided to head back over to Wynnum to cache somewhere with a cool breeze on a hot day.
This was our fifth cache for the day & we certainly made it way harder than it needed to be. We read the description well & looked at the clue & searched in all the places we thought it could be & a lot we thought it shouldn't be but may as well look anyway in between waiting for the steady stream of muggles to pass by.
We were getting hotter & tired & more despondent with each passing minute as we thought we had interpreted the clue correctly but couldn't find the cache so resorted to the PAF option for the second time in a row which we weren't happy about. Turns out one of the first places we'd searched was the right spot we just were being girls & not trying hard enough so a bit more determination soon had the cache in hand. Log signed & replaced as found.

After finding the new one at Hemmant Quarry, Team Benders and I decided to try our luck down here with a couple we hadn't been able to cross of. It seems really easy when you are with someone who has found it before and I soon had the cache in hand.

We searched high and low and for a lengthy period of time. At one point we were joined by another family of geocachers who joined the search. We scoured the logs. We analysed the hint from every angle. But we could not find the cache.
Later, after finding number 2 and 3, we returned for another look. Taking into consideration the T rating, we broadened our search. But still no luck. We'll have to come and look again some other time.

With 1000 caches in sight, we set our sights on these close to home caches that have eluded us thus far. With some pointers from the CO we headed of bleary eyed, early in the morning before work. Thankfully the dreary weather minimized the muggles in this usually busy spot. We were suprised when we found the cache, surely we have looked there many times before! A much more obvious spot then were we had previously concentrated our search! Our sleepy state almost saw the new log dropped to a place that would be unretrievable, but thankfully everything was safely returned! Tftc, linden6.
oohh this one was hard !!! had a couple of attempts...still didn't find it... wow
After a great run around this circuit this afternoon, I finally got stuck here. I looked in a whole bunch of crazy places, far and wide, before resorting to going back through lots and lots of logs for the slightest hint.
Even then, I went to the wrong spot, and managed to cut my finger. After that, I went to the spot which I was now very sure would be right and managed to make the find at last. Another tricky one and very close to a DNF from me so TFTC.

Took a little longer, but only because Tiki 4 knew where it was and couldn't access it! Finally got it and all good. TFTC.

16/11/15 Out caching with Marina25 today and whilst this is my first find for the day it is not the first cache we have attempted. I have been to this cache once before, quite early in my caching career and could not find it at the time. Today we arrived at GZ and I immediately identified a likely spot and sure enough the cache was there. A sneaky but logical hide. TFTC Linden/6
Geopartner on holiday.
Walking on down the boardwalk, we came to GZ.
Surveyed the area and said to Geopartner look there and the cache was soon in hand.
Signed the log and returned to hide.
Always enjoy a walk along a boardwalk although the wind was blowing a gale today.
There was some while egrets and I spotted a beautiful sea eagle.
I saw a little fish in amongst the mangroves.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Linden/6 All good with this cache

Out on a maintenance run to check on a few of our caches.
The log is a little damp but still writable.
We will replace the log when our next delivery of waterproof ones arrive.

GPS had no clue and neither did I! Another excuse to walk the boardwalk again one day soon.
Oh man. This area was so busy - muggles everywhere. We did have a quick look but we decided to move on. We have a good idea of where to look so we'll be back.
While caching with jemillalucy and remsjw, my mum mnance, my brother mazza151 and myself decided to do this cache. TFTC!
Out for a day of fun geocaching with barbbowman and bubba89 - we decided to head down Wynnum way as there were quite a few caches that none of us had yet found. We parked at a convenient location to commence a very pleasant walk picking up a few caches as we went.
After a short search, we had the cache in hand and added our name to the log book. Thank you for having placed the cache Linden/6.

I really should read cache pages more often. I had read the description at the first cache I came to, but I did not read it here.
I might have had a much quicker find if I had read it. I dismissed GZ because of something I had read about another cache.[:o)]
Oh, well my PAF is expecting my call.

I was staying in Brisbane for a work event and had the day off today...what else am I going to do than go caching. A bit of a search for a nice area and I discovered Wynnum...then, I discovered that Linden/6 was the CO down here and I was sold!
I had high hopes and left the place I was staying around 8. Everything bundled in my arms, shut the door and walked towards the car. Oh! My keys!.....are on the other side of that locked door. Unfortunately there wasn't even any caches within walking distance, but I was able to procrastinate for a few hours until someone could come and rescue me and send me on my Wynnum caching way.
Ok, onto the actual cache hunt...
I looked here, I looked there. I looked under, I looked over. And I found nothing. I undid just about everything possible to undo. I checked high in places where I thought there was no way the CO would place it....and the CO hadn't placed it there. I got ankle deep in mud following footsteps I thought may have been a lead...but now I think I may have just been following my own trail
An hour later I messaged the CO ready for a hint...a very obscure hint was given back and in my ponderings I thought I'd try something again....WITH SUCCESS!!!!!!
What an awesome and painful hide. Loved it! Thanks Linden/6

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at10:27am. This is the 2nd time we have been here and it took a long time to find it this time too. There are so many hiding places. TFTC
A visit to the parkland here and picking up the caches around this walking circuit. A nice new boardwalk too. AS I approached I could think of so many possibilities here. The phone GPS was a little bouncy under the tree cover, so I had to resort to my logical thinking of outside the box. Hmm... I can see something that could be? I have seen this type before... If it moves... and yes it did. Inside I found the container nicely positioned. TFTC Linden/6
Tough one! I am actually a terrible cacher.. and a doosh. ^ edit. That's what happens when you let your friends log for you. This one was very hard and very slushy. No ideas. Hints?

Tonight Genyo and I decided to head over to this area and grab a handful of caches. It was raining to begin with but that cleared up soon enough, not that the rain stopped us.
We found ourselves at GZ after a nice walk from the previous cache. There were so many places to hide a cache here it was overwhelming. And so the hunt began...
We searched high and low and eventually were getting defeated by the lack of a find. However I then stopped and after thinking about the hint had the cache within a minute even though we had searched there several times already.
I really enjoyed this trail. TFTC!

I had searched where the cache turned out to be a few times before we finally found it. It was searching under concrete but didn't have any luck.
The tide was coming in as we were searching for this one and there was lots of scary noises coming from the water. How I would react in an emergency crossed my mind more than once!
I realised I was unarmed too far from anyone to hear me!
The cache was well hidden, although I was glad there were no muggles about or else it would have been weird.
I had a fantastic night tonight caching in the rain with Dawesy321. It was a little wet at the start but cleared up before too long.

On the road again, this time we are staying at the Thornside Mobile Home Park.
After setting up, we headed around the bay finding caches as we went. The views were spectacular from every turn in the road. We had fish & ships for lunch sitting by the beach.
It was hubby who made the find of this clever cache. We then continued on the boardwalk for a little longer.
Thanks for placing this cache Linden/6

Last one for the series (so far?) and I was happy to get out from near the water, you would think the cold would keep the mozzies and midges away but it didn't and I was covered in bites! Tdimdad also had a a couple of hints for this one, this time we thought we would surely find it, we looked high and low, under and over. How could we not find it? We looked and looked, but came up with nothing and as we were running out of light fast we did the only thing we could when we wanted to find it in this trip, and hung our heads low and called the CO again, he was most helpful again and gave us a hint, -.- it was exactly where I thought it was, I even tried there but was not able to retrieve it, should have let Tdimdad have a go, it would have saved us some embarrassment. We got it out this time and was able to sign the log. TFTC! Even though we did the series in reverse it was still a great adventure with great hides!
Too tricky for me. Had to leave before I was ready to give up so I'll be back!

Next stop with Sezzz: this cache. It had eluded me twice already but now I had intel about the area to search. Still, we couldn't come up with a find. Finally pride had to be swallowed and a PAF followed.
It turned out the logsheet was hiding in what we both had though might perhaps be a hide, possibly, maybe, if you really want to, and Sezzz had tried earlier without luck. A new attempt and we were rewarded.
Well, at least you can say the hide is, well, adequately hidden! Should not attract many muggles to it.
All good here. TFTC, Linden/6!

Down by the sea with my brother Swampybees, Wandered about a bit but my eyes kept being drawn back to one particular spot. Better check it I think. Ahh! There it is. Nice one Linden/6
Another one I couldn't find. Getting a little disheartened. Maybe it was all the rain and flooding a few days ago.
Me wanderings this morning took me down by the sea
And for once there was actually seawater lapping the shore
High tide is a great time to wander this area [^]
Before me wanders could start in earnest, there was the small matter of finding this cache.
Where 'o' where could it be ??
Me size nice boot came in handy and sure 'nuff there was a logbook

Running short of time as it was getting near the end of my shift at work and I had to return my client to base. We had just found 2 and 3 and my client was happy with that but I will return over the Easter holidays hopefully.
Finally added my name to the log. Had an idea and confirmed with CO before making my third visit. Thanks
I had searched for this one last weekend, without luck. As I had continued on the trail then, I began to get an idea of how this CO thinks. I had intended to look for it again on the way back to the car, but the storm put paid to that idea. Today, I was out for a day of caching with IolantheK. As we neared this cache, I told her that I had a good idea where it would be. Sure enough, it was there. We signed the log and continued on our way
I had a few hours to spare for a play day today, so put out the word, and Selva Girls was able to join me
Time for a bit of a walk to stretch the legs, and here's a lovely wander with several caches as well [^] We continued along the boardwalk to this one, and it was very pleasant. A couple of hidey-holes here, but the hint led me to look at a certain spot, and after a bit of work I had the cache in hand [^] Another neatly done hide, so have another favourite point. TFTC. Out caching with Lisylou, Bennyboppers, Remsjw, Jemillalucy and Misssusan. A few of us were looking in one area but then Lisylou found it. TFTC!
Unfortunately this was not a pretty place today. So much sludge from the recent storms. A quick find though.
Good spotting by lisylou while out with the tough mothers certainly had some rain here
OH look, sunshine.
Who would of thought a day or so ago with Tropical Cyclone Marcia bearing down on us[?]
So I headed out caching.
I am slowly making my way south.
My GPSr had me over there but a log or two pointed me some where else that I had thought of at a previous cache.
Thanks for the cache.

Reading logs that this was tougher than the last micro we DNF meant we walked straight past this one preferring to conserve our energy for places with less mozzies. Tftc. Will revisit at a later date.
I had noticed these features at the CO's previous hide, though didn't thoroughly check any given what I could see in the logs. This one was found with comparative ease. Once the coast was clear, it was as easy as inspecting a couple of things. The particular placement of the cache in its habitat proved to be clever as it's only visible from a certain angle. Nicely hidden.

You wouldn't think the mozzies would follow me all the way back to the start of the boardwalk but, they did indeed *sighs deeply* *scratches itchy bits*
The cache turned out to be in the first place I touched and then touched again. But as it didn't budge with gentle prodding, I widened the search. I kept going back to this point but took to poking around the cache rather than at it
I'm a bit wary of tampering with all-things-bridges but after a few sms exchanges with the CO, and sending him a photo, realised I would have to dig deeper. Then, naturally, as I was hot, sweaty, tired and covered in voracious mozzies, the actual cache (micro) would not give up the logbook The CO kindly let me leave a M.M. sticker which he has since replaced with my autograph.
A lovely location, and to think I was not aware it was here until you hid this small series of caches.

There were a group of muggles on the Boardwalk today but as long as we waited a few minutes we had a chance to look for what we needed. This one did not take long. TFTC
