20,579. Found with albida33 during a meander up to and around the Tamworth and Armidale regions.
Day 4 of our trip. Headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be another big days caching. We aimed to hit some more of the trails around the region. Next stop of the day, and we found a mushy log and nothing else. We have placed a baggy with a fresh log until the CO can perform maintenance.

Found on a really hot day. Plastic bag containing log totally munted as is the snap lock container. GC seriously in need of maintenance
We caught the train this morning from Armidale to Uralla and had a play in Uralla’s amazing new park, lunch at the top pub, and then before we drive back thought we would find a few caches. TFTC 
On our way to QOGM (Blackall) day 10 of our trip. 3 caches for the day and 351 for the trip. Favorite point.TFTC

8843 Located by baby&Mrs gopher ( bMg in small logs ) at 0945. Came out with the hope of getting in a little twitching this morning. What a sad sight to behold with the reserve a dust bowl and not a drop of water to be seen. Container in good condition. SL Tnx karsen

With our base established at Uralla we headed out to different surrounding localities finding caches as we went. We enjoyed exploring the area and this was one we (us and Snakepiters) targetted and found. Thanks to karsen for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
After the last two hectic days caching, and easier one today just picking up a few in and around town.

I'm so sorry karsen, but I have broken the lid on the cache container. It shattered into countless pieces as I was returning it to it's hiding place. We have put the whole thing into a large ziplock bag until you can do some repairs. We think the cache has succumbed to UV overload.

Lid is damaged and will require replacement. Currently protected by a large ziplock bag so handle with care.
Really enjoyed visiting this location as it was the place where Thunderbolt was the day before he was shot dead. We could only imagine what it would have been like back in those days. TFTC

Day 2 of our caravan trip going South. Had a look around and found the cache. It's the second lagoon in this area which is dry as a bone. Tftc

Found with Ozglory on our weekend away caching with the plan to do the loop from Kempsey to Uralla to Armidale and back to Kempsey.. The weather was not our friend on this trip which meant some slight change in plans, but was still a great weekend away.
By now the competition was no between Ozglory and us. We called out found it before we had even got out of the car! haha, if only. Still a pretty quick find, in this interesting little reserve down a quiet road. Took TB to keep it on the move.

TFTC, I lived in Uralla for 3 years as a kid in the 70's, I did'nt know this place existed. Nice spot although today is 3 degrees C and very windy.
We're camped in our van at the Lagoon so checked on the cache and it's in great condition. Great to read back on all the visitors.
What a lovely quite spot so close to town, it would be a lovely place for a family to enjoy a fun day. SL TFTC

and then read the signs SL, TFTCAhh - no racecourse and no lagoon! But a beautiful place. We stopped and had lunch under the trees and enjoyed the little birds darting about. Thanks for the well stocked cache.
Almost drove past this one as the water seemed to be green. And solid. Who stole the lagoon? We could see the remains of the racecourse. Had our lunch here and it is a lovely place to stop for a while. Thanks for placing a cache here and thanks for your well organised cache.
Haven't been here for years. Back then the lagoon (i.e., racecourse) was overgrown and the picnic area dilapidated. Not any more. Now the grass is mown, the picnic tables look inviting under the trees and there is some new signage. Full credit to the Uralla Shire Council. All good with the cache. Thanks karsen.
Drove out here hoping to see some birds. Nope all dried up . But there's a cache .

Considering this is my home town I never knew about this place.
And what I great place it is. It's a shame they no longer have races here, with the water in the middle it would been a great scene.

Nice little cache thanks for the detour

No visible sign of water in the lagoon today even after the recent rains. Maybe this area missed out on what dampened us at the Mega. A quick find in a lovely area TFTC karsen
A great days caching on a road trip toward Oz Mega 2015 with Team Crackers and The Coffees. Many differing experiences, some where I walked right to the cache and others where I needed to hunt around a bit. As usual I have enjoyed the various challenges set by the CO's and the fact that I get to cache with friends and am outside in the great outdoors.

.Catching up on some very late logs.
Travelling home from the QLD mega with The Coffee’s and micaparamedic we were stopping at caches not too far off the highway.
We had a fantastic day with not one DNF although some of the hides were more difficult than others.
We apologise for this generic log but we have misplaced our notes and with over 400 finds for the week we cannot remember them all individually.
We do appreciate the effort of each C.O. in placing these caches for us and others to find and showing us places we not have stopped at if not for this great game.
To save space in the smaller logs we signed as MCC, micaparamedic, The Coffee’s and Team Crackers.

A good early start from Stanthorpe, gave us the opportunity to grab a few caches on the way to Dubbo.
Just a bit off the track, but very caravan friendly, a good spot for lunch and an interesting recreational area.

Tftc, gorgeous location, a shame there's no water in the lagoon, its cool that you can still see the race track.
It's Ozmega 2015 time and I found this cache on my four and a half day weekend. Woohoo. Quick find and duly logged.
