Hi Net88,The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention, or it may not but in the absence of the cache owner performing maintenance and/or disabling the cache to check it out, I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 4 weeks) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 4 weeks to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.Ngaambul - Matt
Firstly I have to say that I enjoyed solving this puzzle - my son was a huge fan of this phenomena when he was very young, so I had fun with this one.Today was my fourth attempt to find this cache. Once again, it seems to have disappeared. I even sought some guidance from a previous logger and was assured that I was looking in the right area but even after all their assistance I couldn't find it! @Net88 - if you are down in this neck of the woods, could you please check if the cache is still in play?
Well ... I took a walk to this one last night and in the last rays of the day I had a look around, coming up empty-handed.But as GZ co-ords were taking me to a spot that was close to more than one hiding spot, and there was a DNF before me, I contacted a previous finder for help.Back again this morning, with hint in hand, and alas ... after looking in every possible spot (I even looked up) ... again, I came out empty-handed.
We had the opportunity to spend Easter in Stanthorpe so took advantage of the days off to find some caches while we were here. Previous logs help narrow down the search here. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Lucky I had Pajamateam with me, he spotted it from a distance down low.

It looks like either someone has dumped their stuff here or it’s become a place to leave rubbish.
Have been spending the last month doing all the puzzles for the infamous Stanthorpe Apple and spend the Christmas holidays slowly finding all the caches while on a mini road trip with Greatgod86. TFTC
Found this with graceygirl1234 while in the region. Previous logs helped to narrow down GZ for these caches. TFTC
Eventually sighted a preform tube down low, and spent some time trying to get to it but it was on a very short tether. Mrs George fetched the tweezers again, and I managed to extract the log sheet and sign. I thought there was some protocol re not replacing an alleged missing cache without permission of the CO. Adding a fresh container or log sheet or plastic bag is one thing, but replacing the entire cache just so one can log it as found is questionable in my understanding of the guidelines. TFTC, Net88
Started baking this apple yesterday, and got enough green ticks to warrant a trip to Stanthorpe, on a day (for my grid) that I had to cache.
Last one for today, I have climbed to many rocks and tripped on too many vines to handle any more....but this one looked quite easy, as we navigatged through surburban Stanthorpe
Well that was rather strange!
My app telling me I was 1.4km away, despite the blue dot (me) being almost on top of the puzzle piece (the geocache), tried turn off and on, to no avail. Used geosence instead and spotted something rather suspicious, bingo! A nice easy find that did not involve rocks and sarsparilla vine.
Thanks Stan, favourite for today's fun in the field. Happy to say that this is another I solved withno assistance from the geo brainstrust
(Oh, and getting back into the geomobile, I was not 13metres away!)

There is lots of flood debris around waist height and there was no sign of the cache. I have left a small tethered preform down low. I hope that is ok. Thanks for the cache
Found after a poke around whilst my boss waited in the car. Had to scratch SG for stortigirls on the log as my pen was near the end of its life. Tftc!
I visited this area almost 2 years ago, took quite a few bites out of the apple and came back today to finish the series, thanks for the puzzle series and

Out and about Stanthorpe and around Stanthorpe district while visiting from Brisbane for a few days. Thank you to all CO's for placing these caches in these locations. Really enjoyed the time travelling around the countryside and town. Found cache and signed log. TFTC
Another weekend in the Granite Belt and a walk around part of the town. I noticed that I hadn’t solved this one for my last visit but was glad to find another easy one. At gz I scratched around a bit and found the cache. Much bigger than expected. All is good with the cache. Tftc find 900
17/4/21 Find #4737
Fangsoki and I had tried to escape last weekend for a last minute overnighter in Stanthorpe. But there was absolutely zero accommodation available. So we decided to hold off.
Then we decided to come this weekend. But there was still no accommodation. The only thing we could find for miles around was one motel in Tenterfield (which was also the only location last weekend too).
Well we decided to bite the bullet and take it. Why not?
We had a few particular reasons for heading out this way - some apple maintenance, some apple collecting and some other caches of particular interest to either collect or assist in maintaining.
This one eluded Fangsoki and so on our last visit, possibly partly because it was getting a little too cold to give it the effort it deserved in finding it.
Today however I headed in and after a bit of a scratch around here and there, managed to find what I was after.
Thanks for the cache Net88.

This find marked 4 of the STANSapple mysteries ticked off today, and fifth cache for the day altogether. I had to get acquainted with a bunch of critters in preparation last night, and saw plenty of creatures at ground zero today, those these were less colourful and powerful than those presented in this puzzle. Nevertheless, I enjoy ducks and find them quite charming. We sat at a welcoming feature watching them and some rowdy cockies untill our phones zeroed in on where we should hunt. Once that happened we were into it, and K_T_B found our quarry in no time.
Thanks net88 for the fun on this one, and for bringing us to a nice spot to chill and watch ducks after arriving in Stanthorpe today.

I have just had the best weekend caching around the Warwick, Summit and Stanthorpe areas. With caching buddies (geonayfee, Willis007 and Triple Turmoil) for the weekend we got in a very large number of caches, completing the apple geoart, the fruit run and a few other special caches along the way. I had a fantastic weekend with lots of laughs and funny events it just made for a fun time; the puzzle solving in the lead up to the weekend was great also.
A big thanks to all the CO’s of the caches along the way; for placing and maintaining the caches for us to enjoy. Visiting this area and seeing places I would never see in a normal trip here was enlightening, so again thanks.
In the weekend I got around 180 caches so firstly apologies for the generic part to the log, I do not remember all specifically but some did stand out so I will add a little to those in my posts.
Finally arrived into town and set up camp for the night and some lunch and then back out to start the apple series and a few as we passed by. All good with most caches and no worms have gotten into the apple.

Heading out to Stanthorpe this weekend to grab some of the wonderful caches on offer out here. Our group of Triple Turmoil, CHAMAD and NayFee signed logs as team TWOCAN.
Some of the puzzles were easy to solve, others took a bit of extra brain power and collaboration. This was a quick one to solve.
Cache was quickly spotted, log signed and all replaced as found.
Thank you for the cache Stan Thorpe.

I was invited to join Chamad, TripleTurmoil and Willis007 for an epic Geocaching adventure on the Granite Belt and surrounding areas. Our morning started bright an early at Warwick (For some good ole caffeine goodness) and slowly but surely we made our way south towards Stanthorpe while grabbing MANY caches on the way.
The main goal for the weekend was to complete the Stanthorpe GeoArt and sign a couple of the challenge caches. We had a wonderful yet tiring day, we did plenty of driving and visited several locations I haven't been to before
Thank you to each and every CO for places caches at these location. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had a blast. We'll certainly enjoy our sleep tonight.
Signed as Twocans
Apologies for the copy pasting crap.

After meeting Willis007 and Chamad at a previous event over New Years, they invited me to join them on an epic geoart mission at Stanthorpe. After weeks of puzzling and planning, today was the day (together with Nayfee). We covered a lot of mileage, had a lot of laughs and learnt a lot along the way.
Between Warwick and Stanthorpe there are a LOT of caches to sign and we did a pretty good job of getting every single one we could - signed as Twocan to save 25 seconds of signing at each cache, as we had work to do!

Spending the night in Stanthorpe, this cache was right near our hotel so took a walk before dinner. Found the cache open so put it back together and covered it with leaves. Tftc
It’s some years since I beadled around the Stanthorpe region and the promise of a temperate climate and low humidity drew me here. Lots of caches, cheese, jam, wineries, truffles, happy hour, awesome scenery, you get the picture Even managed to convert a muggle to our evil ways Lots of fun!

TFTC! Out bright and early this cool Sunday morning, visiting Stanthorpe. So happy to finally put a smile on this one.
We had some purchased some meat patties, bacon and tomato to put on the BBQ back at the accommodation but stopped to rectify this DNF as we were driving by.
I had read the cache was replaced and soon made the find. We did a bit of CITO at GZ removing some broken glass that we were lucky to find scraping up some leaves.
After a quick count I still had all twelve fingers. Stangely Mrs Woodyrothwell seemed happier than me. tftc

Thanks to the lovely Aussie Liahona who was able to replace this one for me as I was dealing with a loss in the family it is up and good to go again.
Hi Net88,
This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, only to discourage people from visiting this location until this cache may be addressed.
**Please note that caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis you will be given some extra time to react as we recognise that CO's can't just pop out and fix the issue,** geocache maintenance can wait. Once the acute threat of pandemic is over, I will remind you about your cache needing attention.
Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so. However, I would like to assure you I will not be archiving any caches which the cache owner does not currently feel safe to maintain.
I'll pass by in about another 45 days and hopefully this will all be over.

Not today, double checked my solution and it gave me the green light. We are here for a couple of days so will give this another go.
Again we took some time and spotted some tiny frogs croaking in the process of locating this one tftc
Most disappointed this is a DNF after spending so much time to complete these puzzles whilst still back in Victoria
As we drove up to GZ we spotted it from the car. Mr. Herbz leapt out and quickly signed the log and rehid a little more efficiently. TFTC Stan.
Miss 11 got to gz before I was close and found it right away. All is good with cache. Thank you CO for placing
Day 2 of my trip to Stanthorpe and surrounds. This puzzle had been solved several years ago, but I had not had the time to find the cache back then. So much to do, so little time! Today, this was the first cache of the morning. After waiting for a few early morning muggles to pass, I began my search. Round and round, I went. Then I found it! How did I miss that on two previous passes! With my name in the log and the cache returned to its spot, I continued on my way. TFTC
Logbook signed with a friend, but still want to solve the puzzle before I log a find on line.
Dutchie1950 and I are taking a slow scenic route to the OzGeoMuster in Morisset. We both have a goal we'd like to hit before the mega so we're caching as we go (ok, we'd be caching anyway!)
TriciaC2 has joined us on our travels for a few days and a stop at Stanthorpe was first on our list. This is one of the apples I had solved but didn't get time to find at the 2015 mega.
As we were heading off to do some of the Quartpot Creek series we naturally stopped on the way to pick up another couple of apples. This one took us a little bit of searching but eventually Dutchie spotted it.

What a great weekend, adventuring and caching in and around Stanthorpe with dahumbug. It was quite the tri-athlon, with walking tracks, bike tracks, water activities and all. A lot of these puzzles were started months and months ago. I'll admit I needed hints and/or nudges for quite a few of them! It is great to have such a variety of puzzles and terrain... my D/T grid is looking better by the minute!
We both searched for a while at this spot and eventually I uncovered the cache. TFTC Net88.

Looked Found 9 November 2017 at 3:16 pm SL. Some time ago I came across the Fruit Run caches and really wanted to found these. It was just a dream for one day. With a terminal sister in law we had plans to head to Bundaberg I saw an opportunity to had via Stanthorpe and when I went to download the Fruit Run details spotted the Stans Apple Geoart, whoo hoo. As we attempted to get travelling we were held back at every turn, so this gave me plenty of time to solve as many of stan's Apples as I could. This was an easy enough puzzle and I didn't have any trouble finding it. Thanks for a good cache puzzle and hide. The cache is in good condition.
We needed to do a bit of research to find a solution for this puzzle. Perhaps that is a sign of our age! however, with a little homework we soon had a reasonably good looking set of coordinates. GZ seseemed a likely spot and within a couple of minutes we had a geocache in our hands. Thanks very much to all those who have contributed to Stan’s Apple series here in Stanthorpe.

This puzzle meant nothing to us for such a long time. Then one day when we were sorting and cleaning out the kids' 'things' we saw something that rang a distant bell. We thought we'd seen a puzzle cache with these critters ... which one was it? Mrs W thought it might've been one of the Stan's Apple series. Lucky guess! Today while in Stanthorpe we had our chance to find this one.
Coords were spot on so it was a quick find at GZ. All is good and dry here.
Thanks heaps for the fun we had solving and finding this one.

Just picking up a few before heading south. We had to take a photo of the ducks here as they huddled together beside a tree. Thanks Stan Thorpe.
When I solved this, years ago, I'd never seen the creatures involved. Today as I found it, I was happy to find a stop nearby that I could spin to get my daily goodies - how times change! It took s few loops of the area to find it under plenty of cover, with a pretty fresh logbook inside. Lots of lovely ducks nestled nearby giving the place a pleasantly rural aspect and quite a few people out and about enjoying the sunshine and crisp morning. TFTC, Stan Thorpe. =^.^=

Having successfully completed at least two other puzzles based on the same concept, we knew where to look for the information. We soon had a set of confirmed coordinates. As we headed back to the motel at about 18:15, we decided to go and look for this cache. It was very dark and our torches were required. It took about 15 minutes of hunting before this well hidden cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Stan Thorpe for the puzzle and teh good hide.
There is definitely no system to our approach this morning, we have abandoned the last of the Quart Pot Creek series to grab another apple. We need to leave some around the lake so we have a need to get up nice and early and go for a walk around the lake next time, at least that’s what we are telling ourselves.

After attending a family gathering in Armidale over Easter when MEGA was on, we managed to spend 3 hours there but didn't get to solve or even look at any of the puzzles for Stan's Apple series.
Our planned 6 day holiday camping at Girraween allowed us a day to collect most of Stan's Apples after solving them in the ensuing months since MEGA.
This cache was found easily but was uncovered in its hide. After signing the logbook, recovered it with nature's camo.

Solved this one with the help of my kids in preparation for our trip to Stanthorpe. We replaced the container for the CO, we were able to find the evidence of the exact spot of the previous one as mentioned in the previous log and have placed pretty much in the exact spot.
Our plans for a massive apple picking hunt was sadly washed out for the most part with bridges going underwater left right and center (literally!). However it just means that an extra trip down is in order in the future.

Seems like this container is missing at the moment. I will endeavour to get down to the Granite Belt as soon as possible to replace it.
Out chasing adventures with Mitchiemus_Prime and thehindsxo crew (aka triple threat). This one was a very easy find due to it being winter, 1 degrees and no one about. We found where the cache should have been and the hinds_xo messaged the CO, who confirmed it has been muggled
I believe this one will be disabled and replaced in the coming weeks. I can see how this would be difficult depending on the season. TFTC and the beautiful park.

Mitchie’s birthday wish to brought us to Stanthorpe this weekend. I couldn’t help having a crack at some puzzles on the off chance that I might get some time to collect some. We hit the trails so hard on Saturday the girls agreed to a more relaxed stroll around town to collect the puzzles on Sunday morning. We gave ourselves until 10am to get as many as we could and we ended up with 22 by 10.03am!
Puzzle: Being a Pokemon GO collector myself this was an easy solve! Thanks for the fun twist on this type of puzzle!
Cache: we found something that looked like it should be the cache pretty quickly, but kept looking anyway in case it was something else. A msg to CO confirmed that it had been muggled this winter. A beautiful spot and our first stop on this 0.0degree morning!

Having not been able to get to the mega we had been working on the art work puzzles knowing we would at some stage come pass though again. So when the opportunity arose we packed the caching kit and headed over for a solid session. A variety of hinds, puzzles and terrains. Out the north end of town we came across numerous Roos and rabbits and thankfully not too many muggles. Good to complete this series. TFTC.
This one clicked straight away because back in the day I used to be able to name all (at the time) 150 Pokemon in order. 3rd find of Stan's Apple, and I gotta catch 'em all!
I came down to Stanthorpe to grab the final to some challenges we've completed, grab some others if they were on the route and get as many of the Stan's Apple series as possible. I wasn't completely successful but one was definitely not there to find, 2 I was not fully equipped for and 2 I just couldn't find and ran out of time!!!
Geo Wife sent me off with her blessing as she thought she would slow me down.
This puzzle had me stumped for a while until I put the right search words into google and a new world opened up!!
I parked around the corner from this one to make it less obvious what I was doing.
The GPS was a little unkind but eventually settled and I got to true GZ.
I searched for a little with no luck then took another tack and couldn't believe my eyes when the cache jumped out at me!!
Thanks Net88 TFTC SL

Continuing on our Trek from Melbourne to Queensland and back by roadtrip we are here in Stanthorpe area finding the apples and locals that we bookmarked and solved.

We couldn't make it to the MEGA Event earlier this year so decided to head here for a long weekend of caching. We checked into our Motel and had a bit of time so decided to go and do a few caches before going out for dinner.
We worked out what the characters were about but had no idea how to solve the puzzle. We enlisted the help of Marco's son who soon provided us with a set of numbers that looked very much like coords. We put them into the checker and BINGO we had them right. An excellent puzzle.
At GZ we took ages to find the cache. Turned out we were looking much harder than we needed to. The cache was right in front of our eyes. TNLN TFTC.

Found this one during the Stanthorpe Mega. Loved the puzzles and working them out. Thanks for your time to create the puzzles and set the series. TFTC
I was in the area with Captain Terror to check on a few containers and checked on this one. All is good with this cache.
Fergclan solved this one and another ten,so today in town came to have a few first bites of the apple, this was our very first bite.TFTC.Net88.
A quick grab while waiting for my pizza from nearby. I approached the GZ and did pretty much a full circle by torchlight before spotting it. That's a gutsy hide! I guess it's more visible in some seasons than others? TFTC where all is fine.
Another little nibble at the apple. We were intending to go the whole hog with second helpings to follow but the rain started before we did, & then got heavier, and steadier, and drippier, and yukkier. So after a mere 3 bites we gave up & went off to the cheese factory to dry out. TFTC & P; can't help the rain.
Out caching with friends and was able to increase the number of smilies on the apple. TFTC.
