Logs
Due to repeated incidences of deliberate spoilers & photographs being posted on several online social media sites & in cache logs, by a small cadre of relatively new cachers , our caches no longer fit the D/T levels or challenges as intended.
Add to this the often spiteful/derogatory & negative comments logged and/or posted online by these same few people, an increase in 'muggle' (?) interference & the disappearance (?) of several caches in recent days, as well as verbal attacks in general conversation, & we have come to the unfortunate decision that it just isn't worth wasting our time, effort & money on placing & maintaining caches any longer.
Following repeated requests for these people to respect the caches, the COs & to follow Groundspeak guidelines by amending their behaviour, which was met with 'We can do what we like!', we no longer wish to be the subject of a few spiteful individuals' attacks & rather choose to enjoy our caching experience without their input.
We thank all those that have enjoyed our caches & responded positively & in the true spirit of Geocaching & can only apologise to those who this decision may disappoint.
As always ...

First time geocaching today, had lots of fun. I just went to see if I could find this one after a Sunday run. Was in good condition but had run out of paper so I put in a fresh piece.
We both circumnavigated the area at least twice. Persistence pays as Mr. Herbz yet again came up trumps. TFTC.
Started off from Wynnum north train station with plans to make it along to coast to Manly and then to Manly station. Didn't quite make it that far, a four year old slows you down quite a bit. So this was find 11/14.
Finally some Figjam I was about to give up looking when I found it, I'm sure I had already looked there!
Finally some Figjam I was about to give up looking when I found it, I'm sure I had already looked there!
Saw six little eyes of baby toads in the tree and then I spied a geocache
Tftc awesome find ms-sammie strikes again but we had to walk away and come back. Gps is no good for this as it bounces from tree to tree. One min i was at the table next 3m from cricket green.
OMG ... the iphone app sent me everywhere!! I figured out where it was .... but I could not find it. I took a walk and came back and found it straight away!! Found with marlie38. TFTC
Beautiful day down by the bay for a find. Got led to the table first go but used our head in the end. Well not really cause I had the kids in the tree so I should've read the clue first.
A caching day around the northern end of Wynnum with Joojoo57. We had a list of 28 caches to potentially find for the day, but due to a lot of time spent where we had no result, we completed only fourteen of the list. So we'll be back soon on another day.
GPS crazy land here - spinning us everywhere. Put them away and used geocaching sense take over. Worked a charm.
Found at 3.25pm on 24th June 2016. TFTC.

No muggles at this Figjam but took us ages to locate. Very pleased when we finally found its hiding place. Thanks VC.
Routine maintenance check.
All good here.
Safe & Happy Caching.
Cheers

Second time around and found it. Logs before was right, it was pointing us at the table the first time we came. Tftc
Was hoping for a quick before school find but the coordinates for this one were taking us to the picnic table - but that didn't make sense given the name of the cache! Two trips around the fig-tree had me thinking it must be up high so we check the hint, thanks for that! One last look uncovered the cache and it all makes perfect sense - now to go fill out some late slips!
Geowife and I thought we may have a walk along the bay on this May Day...
Spotted quickly despite a constant flow of muggles.

A lot of construction work going on around here. Parked on the opposite side of the park and wandered over. A fairly quick find but as I had the log out signing, smoko break started so all these construction workers came over. Managed to wait for a break of them walking past and returned as found. TFTC Linden/6.
Out for the day with Nikid1 & we decided to head back over to Wynnum to cache somewhere with a cool breeze on a hot day.
What is it with us & workmen today, they seem to be loitering around a lot of the caches we are trying to find! I have decided the Nikid1 is the FIGJAM cache finder as she found it in a spot I had looked in but obviously not very well! This tree is so large that she had to text me to let me know she'd found it.....

Hot but glorious day on the bay today. Gps was off for me but after a bit of searching (im still not very good at this) i found it!! Great hide! Tftc. I am still patiently waiting for someone to open the fish and chip shop near here. Hopefully some time soon. Wynnum creek is so nice
Out for a lovely bike ride along the bay to find a few more of the closer to home caches. We spotted the fig tree from across the park, and were hoping that we would have some cover from the muggle construction workers over the road. Luckily we had plenty of cover and Dirk easily spotted the cache. Tftc
We arrived at the car park for the GZ and there were muggles sitting at it. We parked and argued about driving on and they started to get up. Yay! Muggles gone and we could look. There are some giant mushrooms growing near here must be all the rain.
Quick maintenance check.
All good here.
Thanks for replacing the log Team Benders.
Safe & happy caching.

Thanks for the cache. The coordinates were off here for me today but the cache name provided the hint we needed. All in good order.

Out for the day geocaching with Wheelie-daughter. Spent some time touring the park while waiting for some tradies to finish their extended lunch. They finally left and we found the cache, which was quite exposed. Went to sign the log, only to find that our ink had run out. Covered it up again and turned around, only to find a heavily-bearded gentleman waiting for us to leave so he could make off with some mulch from a nearby tree.!!
Geopartner on holiday.
Rocked up to GZ and wandered around.
And around and around until I spotted something and retrieved the cache.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Linden/6 All good with this cache

More workers here but luckyly no visitors in the park today, the log is full but I found a small spot to leave my mark on the page.TFTC
We are over here from Christchurch NZ,visiting our Family..It was not a Caching Trip, but brought the GPS,just incase we got the opportunity to find a few along the Sea front.
Found quickly after Muggles had moved away..TFTH
Cheers Barbara & Terry..

Nice to find my last one for the day. Was exposed so did what the previous finder did and added a bit more cover. Will have to come back with a recharged phone for the rest. TFTC Linden/6, it's been a great day
27/10/15 Arriving at GZ and I look over to see a number of workers sitting around a close by tree having lunch. Wow....these sure are muggle-friendly spots. I started the search and thankfully in the first spot I look a little lid was staring back at me. Log signed and when returned some extra cover was added. TFTC Linden/6
Just down in Brisabne for the day to visit the Doc and catch up with some friends. Now what to do with a bit of sparetime but find a few caches. I must admit I looked for some that were a bit easier to find today and not too far off the track. A good selection of caches mostly micro's but none too hard to find. Tftc Linden/6
A quick maintenance check today revealed that all is well with the cache & whatever had afflicted the tree was not fatal.
Back in full leaf with ALL new growth the tree is, once again, looking very majestic!
Happy Caching

Lots of workmen across the road but luckily I found it without too much trouble. Lovely tree and outlook. Ttc
While caching with jemillalucy and remsjw, my mum mnance, my brother mazza151 and myself decided to do this cache. TFTC!
Out for a day of fun geocaching with barbbowman and bubba89 - we decided to head down Wynnum way as there were quite a few caches that none of us had yet found. We parked at a convenient location to commence a very pleasant walk picking up a few caches as we went.
We searched for a little while, but we eventually had the cache in hand and added our names to the log book. Thank you Linden/6 for having placed the cache for everyone to find.

My Rangers were so excited to climb the tree - so I let them go for a while until I informed them that there was no need to go high! Quickly found tftc
Unlike the previous finder, only went round the tree twice. Need to find #1 at some stage. TFTC
Out on the geocycle last Friday I did not even stop at this one. I had looked at the name and D/T rating and decided not a good day for it.
I was mistaken about one aspect of this hide, but we were passing this evening, so it did not matter.
A quick hunt revealed the cache.

Just like #1 I have driven past here numerous times each time with people hanging around the area. However today managed to make the stop without any onlookers, and proceeded to have a little bit of a look around.
One lap around and nothing, second lap and almost head butted a golden orb weaver. So a little more careful on my third lap and taking a little bit closer look in a couple of areas I soon had the cache in hand. Got my name added and all replaced. Now it is off towards home for the day.

Continuing along our journey and out towards another cache which the CO's were trying to get me to by a certain time (for their own entertainment, mind you).
We park relatively close by here and I start the walk around and found the cache without too much fuss. All was signed and replaced and then we moved onto our last two for the day.

Saturday. Both Slow Punctures ventured south to visit our new nephew. Whilst out we thought we would drop in on a few caches (as one does).
After the last one, this promised to be a doddle. It SHOULD have been one, but as usual we made it difficult. Kerry did find a sleeping toad however, which didn't thrill her. Much cursing in the CO's direction, which I thought was a bit unfair, but highly amusing
In the end, Kerry DID find it, so we were able to sign the log. It rained on us here, and we were able to take these nice pics (attached)
This was the 2nd of 4 caches we found on this trip.
Thanks [Blue]Linden/6[/Blue], for showing us this interesting place.

Found the co-ordinates to be a bit off as we ended up out in the field equidistant from 4 different likely hiding spots. Managed to pick the right one first go

Back so soon! I still did a complete 360 once again, scratching here and there before finally spotting the cache just where it should be. Phew! TFTC where all is OK.
Picking up a few caches in the nearby parkland and I had to make a quick pit stop. Oh a cache just over there. So I ventured over. I started my hunt and a couple of people passed by whilst I checked my phone and the geodog waited patiently. As soon as they had passed, around an around I went. The I spied a small piece of the lid and was able to have the cache in hand. A quick sign off and replaced before anyone else came wandering past the tree. TFTC Linden/6
I sure don't mind a fig search (check out GC35KF1 sometime) but nothing popped up here for me at all. When I realised a muggle had occupied the bench nearby, I called it quits. Another time, team.
Tonight Genyo and I decided to head over to this area and grab a handful of caches. It was raining to begin with but that cleared up soon enough, not that the rain stopped us.
This was out second cache for the night and we quickly found ourselves at GZ. On arrival Genyo almost immediately had the cache in hand while I was still preparing to look for the cache. TFTC!

I was just getting started with the night when I found this cache. We arrived and luck had it I saw the cache moments after we arrived. Nice place for a cache!
I had a fantastic night tonight caching in the rain with Dawesy321. It was a little wet at the start but cleared up before too long.

On the road again, this time we are staying at the Thornside Mobile Home Park.
After setting up, we headed around the bay finding caches as we went. The views were spectacular from every turn in the road. We had fish & ships for lunch sitting by the beach.
Thanks for placing this cache Linden/6

Out hunting with my brother Swampybees, this area has lots of memories for us being home grown Wynnumites. Swampybees soon spotted the tell tale sign and sure enough there it is. Thanks Linden/6
