Found your cache today, but it has holes in the plastic & been soaked by the recent rain.
I arrived in Brisbane, from New Zealand, last Tuesday night, for a couple of weeks work. During my time here I hope to find several geocaches, but for many reasons none was more important to me to find than GC8E - Queens land. I always enjoy the old ones. So, after a morning of effort to 'fuel' up the car I had, I headed out here. After finding the old one, I carried on and did a loop walk picking up caches along the way. All were found without too much trouble. An excellent way to spend a few hours.---Thanks to DutchAus for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
Out for an afternoon walk with caninecybby and my youngest grandson in stroller to find the Holden series. TFTC DutchAus
The first of this day, gound the 14 jully.A pleasant Hyke, Thank you very much It miss a cap on this cache.
Took a while 2 find this 1, as I made assumptions based on previous finds in the series, but it was staring at me...T4TC:-)
TFTC. We are out today with ILTW doing the HS series. Cache found after a short search. New sheet added. The top is missing off the canister.
1st on my list today.Quick pull up and grab. Lid missing on the cache.#841________________________Having woke up on my first day off and the sun was trying to break through.. I though I would head out to Karawatha Forest for some caches today.Total ride: 3:05:21. Completed 23 caches.Totaling 16.87km ride distance.Great day out before the sun decided to head back undercover.
The oldest box in Queensland was our main goal for today, but of course we took a longer stroll through this beautiful park and made it a 5 icon day. Not much of a box here, almost a DNF, but there it was.Thank you and greetings from Germany!
Found, with fivegk, while on a caching holiday from Canada. TFTC, and Happy Caching!
Today we left the highway to visit the old cache Queens land. This month is still missing from the statistics. After visiting this cache, we found a few more cans in the area. Thanks for the caches.
The first cache was one of the hardest to find, it was very well camouflaged and hidden away but after much searching and log reading, I eventually found it. The container is missing its lid but the log is ok and the clue is still there. Thanks for the cache DutchAus!------------------------------------------------------------------Today I set out to tackle the Holden Series of caches in Karawatha Forest. I started from the Illaweena Street Picnic Area and followed the Casuarina Track and then the Maculata Trail. I took a small detour up to Poet's Rock and then returned to follow the trail through to HS-10. I then returned along the same tracks. All up the walk was about 7km and took me about 3hrs. Some of the caches were quite difficult to find so it took me longer than I thought it would and I decided to turn around after number 10. I'll have to come back and finish the rest another day.
Caching in Australia From the USA. Second day.Flew from Sydney to Brisbane. The Quest of this trip is to find caches that were hid in the year 2000.Found on the way to Queensland. Thanks DutchAus for the fun. May have signed log RRS17371st February 05 2024 @11:37:00 PM
Caching today with elina_maree today and this was our first find. GPS had us going in different directions but eventually found when I checked a hidey hole for the second time. TFTC Dutch Aus
That took a while longer than it should have! Caching with Grub1204. We were being pointed in two different directions!
Came to the area to grab the old Queens Land cache. Went for a run up the track to grab a few more and quickly grabbed this one on the way. Tftc.
Found on a casual stroll through the bush on a wet morning. Quick find once I arrived at the GZ. Recorded code from cache. Cache needs maintenance. Cache missing its lid and zip lock bag rather holy. TFTC. SL. TB Prado Owl visited.Find # 1749.
Today we went for a walk and cache in the Karawatha Forest, lots of well-made tracks and many people either walking or riding along them this afternoon. Collected most of the codes along the way in caches that had them, now to work out the bonus cache. TFTC
Unfortunately, three containers of this series didnt contain the necessary clue and one was completely missing (which we replaced). Nevertheless we tried to find the Bonus by educated guessing but unfortunately didnt succeed.Danke fr's Austfteln, Herlocken, Verstecken und Pflegen !Thank you very much for luring us here as well as for hiding and maintaining the cache !....../ ).....' /---' (_____.TFTC . GPS not settling well but a process of elimination and some suspicious camo had me finding the cache fairly quickly. Container and bag quite scruffy but log OK. TFTC!
Greetings from Ireland!I was actually born in Darwin but moved to Ireland at the age of 3 - now at the age of 40 I am making my first return visit which lasts for 5 weeks. The final part of my trip involved a road trip from Sydney to Brisbane (driving over 5 days with a different place to stay each night). This was one of the many caches I found on that 5 day part of the trip. Tftc!
And so beings our little day adventure with my two little geo dudes. First one found quite quickly with no apparent issues with the cache. Cheers for the cache!
Found it, easy find took us 2 minutes, feels like it needs some maintenance but tftc!

We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Loving our time around Brisbane and around the area. Today we started out with an event, then picked up a variety of finds while meandering back to home base.
Stopped off here to grab the nearby oldest but grabbed this one, on the way out. A quick find at GZ. Grabbed the hint for final. A little disappointed that we have to find rusted mint tins out here in the bush.
Thanks DutchAus for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Apologies for the late log here (12.01.24) but I've had a busy time since getting back to the UK.Found on a nice woodland walk (mostly) while heading towards the local Virtual. Nice. Thanks for adding a painless one to my day TNLN-TFTC!SP (UK) on an epic trek right around the world.
A friend was having a surprise milestone birthday party and a trip to Brisbane was required to attend.
After accidentally (on purpose), booking my flights a few days earlier, it was time to do some pre party caching around town.
After a late night last night, today was a little more laid back exploring some targeted caches around Brisbane and beyond.
A lovely piece of bushland and a nice spot to grab a cache while touring around.
Thanks DutchAus for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Out and about to get some smilies on the geocache map, today. This one was a quick and easy find. TFTC DutchAus
No lid on the container but everything is all nice and dry. Really enjoying walking through here, so thanks for putting this series out here
Cache found after some searching around, took some time as my phone signal must be playing up today. All looks to be in usable condition.
Out today to continue with my challenges, I was in this area yesterday walking around and today I have comeback with my bike. I parked in the same area as yesterday and started off on my ride. It was a nice day and while there is a little wind around it did make for a pleasurable ride. I am happy to say dnf’s here today. Collected all the remainders in the series, and an extra one along the way, so that would be a total of 12.
So tricky hides and some easy hides, all good with all caches and in some cases I found two caches at the hide. I signed logs and returned all as found, thank you for the fun today.

Today i decided to take my geo bike out this way and tackle this series. My mountain bike was out of order so i just took my vintage bike and was not sure if it was up for this terrain but it managed just perfectly. I love these types of series and this one took me to a lovely serene place to ride my bike . I ended up with only 1 DNF. Did not take long to spot this cache. Really getting the hang of this series. THanks for the fun
First or this Series. Not where my gps was pointing. Found by Shaz while I was wandering in the bushes. TFTC
Nice and cool in the mornings here still ,parked at Illaweena entry and headed off into the bush. We started this trail a few weeks back, and now have the time to finish it off. We soon arrived at the cache . Signed
A fun ramble with Wayn0, catching up and learning the ways of the Australian Bush. Got my first sighting of a wallaby too! TFTC
Having been pretty sure I found this cache already, I was interested to see if my memory was correct once we arrived at GZ. Lo and behold, the cache was in the first spot I checked. Definitely been here before.
There was no clue in the container as I had remembered, though luckily we had made note of it previously. I must not have logged this last time for lack of a pen, but I of course had one this time.

I wanted to finish this series which I started last year. This was the final one and also took the longest to find. I missed it first look then went back for closer looks in many holes and eventually found it. Very wet so placed a new paper sheet in a dry plastic bag. Tftc
Looked through the entire area plus about a 7m radius around it. Couldn’t find nothing inside of any holes or in plain sight.
