After my venting my disappointment at not looking for this cache before it had been prematurely (in my opinion) archived, the CO kindly informed me that the cache was still in place and I had a short window in which to find it before it was permanently removed. I didn't need a second telling, so after lunch StreetWalker and I headed out to Tahuna for a spot of caching .
Parking was less an issue today than last Tuesday when I had considered stopping to look for it en route to work (and had to carry on without stopping because of the lack of suitable parking). Busy corner so after a brief search, resorted to hint for a quick find. I had an idea of the cache hide which was proved completely wrong once I found it .
Enjoyed the musical accompaniment, though it's starting to wind down a bit....Thanks for the seasonal cheer and the opportunity to log this find.

#9058. With this one "available for a limited time only" we made a point of stopping by today. A great container. TFTC.
Bugger. Hadn't realised the season for re-gifting was so short else would have made more of an effort to stop and look for the cache.
School back next week so it is well and truly time to pack this one away. Thanks to everyone who visited
A very nice late christmas suprise just in front of our one-nighter-motel, last night on South Island, sadly.
Very nicely crafted and thanks for the wishes, we would like to return.
Late merry christmas to all cachers in GodZone, be it locals or guests like us.
TFTC,

Day One: On holiday with tmann421 exploring the top of the South Island. Lots of geocaches found and adventures had in the collection of many a cache. Thanks to all the CO's for making this a thoroughly enjoyable trip.
What a great idea for a cache container. Unfortunately things are going a little 'flat' so not sounding so merry
Thanks for the fun cache.

After dropping off the relocation rental at the airport I started the walk back to Nelson hoping to find a few caches on the way. By the day was over I had walked over 20 km including a walk up to the Centre of NZ.
The cache wasn't what I was expecting but it made me laugh anyway. A nice Christmassy touch.

Missed the lights again this year still their is still one wee on flashing in the cache )
I really love the cache container. What a cool idea. There was not much happening from the light brigade over the road when we visited but it looks like the display would be awesome when the sun goes down and all the lights are on. Season's greetings to you and yours too. TFTC !!!!
Last day of the holidays, so a quick grab to mark the occasion.

Merry Christmas from the KE family. Just me on my lonesome today as family are already enjoying their holiday. Quick find at gz but recent rain seemed to rob me of the Christmas tune. We did the light show tour of Richmond and Wakefield a few nights ago but didn't get to this one. Next year!?
Thanks Isis for the cache.

Popped by this afternoon to check this after the last log. Dried things off a bit and it seems to be working again ok
Mrs SoBad had had a long chat with her sister so a short drive replaced a possible walk. Lovely sunset as we drove around Rocks Road and dark enough for all aspects of the cache to be appreciated. 10 days until Christmas now and it does seem as though summer has finally arrived.
Thanks for the fun and appropriate seasonal cache - we would have no problem with an annual tradition as Biggles suggested.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the local and visiting cachers. Wishing you a year of smiles and smileys. We were not the first to sign the log today so a few more cachers with smileys for 2014

We couldnt come at night time as it would have been too late for merrystinga. Bike ride to Tahuna, picnic and a nice stop to find this on our way back home. Loved the container. Will check out the house next time I drive pass in the dark.
Merry Christmas to everyone, have a lovely holiday and and New Year full of happy caching

Merry Christmas to you and thanks for the ho ho cache. Very clever and a favourite for us.
I had to pop into town today so had a quick - but rather dampening - stop to find this cache. Looks like this could be an annual thing now. Very cool and traditional indeed. TFTC, Biggles.
Found this one at 12.30am nice and quiet no muggles! Great cache, Merry Christmas, TFTC!
Fa-la-la-la-la. La-la-la-la.
Wishing everyone a merry cachemas and a happy new year.

Popped into town to pick Miss Chrisb34 up from her late Christmas hours shift at the Warehouse, so decided to stop off and grab this cache en route. No problem with muggles at 9.30PM but passing traffic still busy.....probably people heading home after Christmas shopping. Decided the safest option was to grab the cache and retreat to the car for what turned out to to be an enjoyable festive signing of the log. Thanks Isis58. Best wishes to you and all our fellow geo buddies!! Ho ho ho !!!! P.S. Gets a fave from me....
Called by for a quick park and grab this afternoon.
One of my favourite Christmas lights houses. We will return after dark.
A merry Christmas to you and TFTC

We had a fair idea of what to expect here and noting the attributes confirmed it so it was left until after dark to visit GZ although the street light will ensure it's never very dark. This is a lovely container and I hope everyone is gentle with it. I hope too it's not compromised when the nearby houses turn on their public Xmas light displays. Merry Xmas to everyone and thank you to Isis58 for placing this cache.
Although living close we respected the attribute favouring a night find. A delightful cache container that performed just like last year. A fav. Merry Xmas to all and many thanks to Isis58 for placing this cache.
