I must be blind today. This one eluded me. I suspect because it has gone walkabouts.
Needed a cache for the gap on the calendar, attempted one very close to home but after too long searching we gave up and headed to this one which seemed like it would be a quick find. Thank goodness it was as it is now 11.38pm! Just made it! Nice hide, glad we had the right TOTT with us. TFTC
I found it and had the correct whatsit thingy with me.. just as I put my head up after finishing the business I was spotted by passersby! Boy, they gave me a strange look! I can't imagine why.
Having seen the sorts of things that Sam gets up to when he gets bored, we had a good idea of what we might find at this spot. Arrived at GZ and immediately saw that we were right. Got to work and were soon signing the log. Thanks.
Another great find on a geocaching holiday in the area.
Thanks for setting up this cache.
*note I found the complete container on the ground where it had been ripped off the fence. I attached it again but would suggest longer screws to mounting to stop geocachers pulling it off.

Had driven past GZ several times in the past and suspected where this might be, and had wondered how an earth I was going to find this one without looking totally dodgy! However, after keylev introduced me to a similar cache today, and I was armed with a TOTT, I headed off for it with a better idea of what to expect. I managed to dodge some traffic and sneak up on GZ, where I was confronted by a dead hedgehog, which, judging by the smell of it, had been dead for a while. I had to stand with one foot either side in order to reach the cache.... needless to say, I completed the job fairly quickly and hightailed it out of there!!!! Cool hide though, I enjoyed this apart from the above mentioned hedgehog!!! Thanks UncleSam!
So glad I wasn't in full view of all the traffic rushing past, as I would have looked dodgy as hell using my tools on this one! Nice hide.
I was in the area and I had my ToTT, so I made sure I got this one off my to do list. TFTC.
Quick find. Always carry a small tool of the nature required for this cache in my caching kit. TFTC
After a good effort in the nearby bowling event I wandered along to this cache only to have my good mood challenged. You see, my tool didn't seem big enough. But then I realised, it's not how big it is, it's what you do with it that counts. And soon after I felt good about myself again. Thanks!
Just enough time for one more cache before the bowling event closeby. Yorkshirekiwi83, vamber and us headed down to this one and made a quick find. Seen a few of these before and fortunately we had a tool that did the job, TFTC!
Filling in time before ego bowling. Got to GZ and went to find tool. Oh no were is the case from inside the caching bag. No idea. That will be a drama for tomorrow. Thankfully shop close enough byto enable purchase of needed tool for logging. TFTC
Filling in some time before geobowling with mike-miss and yorkshirekiwi83. Luckily we realised that we needed a tool before grabbing, and mike-miss had one in the car. Soon had the log in hand and we were signing away. Thanks for the hide!
Had some time between the pre-bowling event and the bowling event, so headed out with vamber and mike-miss, mike had the required tool in his car, so grabbed that on route and we quickly found the cache and retrieved the log. TFTC
Was out that way today with miss 7 .....thought we'd do a few caches ! Guessed when we got there what was required . Had to go back to car for multi tool ...then signed log !
Not suitable for kids with bare feet ... lots of rubbish round behind structure, sorry had no tongs or bag for a clean up ....

OUt collecting a few caches at lunch time before my next meeting. Found convenient parking not too far away and quickly made the discovery. Nice hide
thanks for the placement

Out and about for a spot of caching on this sunny Sunday afternoon trying to relieve my tedium with Uncle Sam's boredom busting efforts. This was another quick find and my trusty tool of the trade did the job. Cheers for the hide!
Clever cache. Didnt have the tool we needed but it wasnt long before we had it. Awesome find TFTC.
Spotted the cache quickly, picked the right tool for the job, had the log signed in no time. Carried on with our lengthy Howick to Botany walk. TFTC.
Originally logged and found whilst out with mum (keylev) but now have own account so logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Thanks for the cache.

Well that was very clever someone else beat us there today. Fav point comin ur way, that was a cool cache.
Didn't need a hi-viz vest for this one with two kids in tow...they are awesome cover for most things. Got to GZ and almost immediately spotted the cache - argh...back to the car for tool - when will I learn to keep these things in my handbag???
Back for round two only minutes later and log was soon in hand. Mr 7 signed it, took TB and off we went.
Thanks for the cache.

Had been a long night. Dropping Miss NZTravellers off on the Shore had noted that there was a ftf cache just north of Owera. Raced from Browns Bay up to Orewa and claimed that ftf.
Driving home and just turned off the motorway when the phone beeped with an incoming email. ANOTHER ftf chance. Just a wee detour and I could attempt this as well.
Had terrible thoughts that there were others living closer and that I might miss this.
Had a message from CO asking if I was thinking about this and I said I was trying but was worried about "the competition"
I parked and arrived at GZ fully prepared (I would have had an interesting time explaining why I was carrying my tool bag if stopped by the Police)
Found cache, thankfully I had my tool bag!!!
Another (FTF) Yay!!!!
