A beautiful Spring Dunedin day so we headed out to explore Warrington. After a lovely wander along the beach this was next on our list. Great to get another in the Christmas series TFTC
I'm on a 5 day caching trip in the south island. Have a few aims - right now its to up a few specific caches that I need to complete my grid for a challenge - and find some interesting caches on the way 1800km later I can say I've accomplished my aim!
(Found with Don Cristobal)
Short little walk from campground - some crazy Fantails around But they couldn't chase us away before we logged the cache
Thanks for hiding CachingTIA

We enjoyed the wee wander along the path from where we parked. There's been a baby sea lion close by from the signage just by GZ. TFTC #9877
Found it on a travel through this beautiful country on the third day of christmas...
This one was a bit of a scramble as the most obvious point of entry is temporarily blocked off. No matter, there's more than one way around to this cache. An easy one for my attuned geosenses to pick up; a good find in a nice, quiet spot. Cheers!
Another cache found in the rain with tmann421 on a fun geocaching trip away.
Thanks for encouraging us to visit this area - good drive around.

Another good find while in the area with Just-Lookin.
Weather was against us today with heavy rain showers.
We found this cache quickly. SL TFTC

A nice stroll out here. Colleague lives nearby and has been bringing in pictures of the sea lion and her pup to the office (this is the second year she had had a pup here). So before getting to the cache we stopped by the tapped off area, 30m from the cache where the pup was hidden. Either that was a big pup now or the mother has the pup well hidden.
Oh well we were rewarded with the cache instead - remembered to grab the number this time
Cache and contents in good condition.

The warning tape is for the new sea lion pup born earlier this month.... it is now old enough that the mum will start moving it to new hiding areas so just be careful not to upset them when out and about.
A lovely place to visit but as I was walking to the cache there is danger tape about 20m away from cache cordining off an area. TFTC
A quick easy find after a short walk into the forest, as we gather another of this series we still have to complete. TFTC
Stayed over night and I grabbed the box while my partner prepaired dinner. Life is wonderfull. TFTC
On Tour together with Sabe73 as Team "TheBros" around South Island to visit some nice spots.
We also visited this location and could find the box almost quickly.
Thank you for showing us this place and of course for the Cache.
Greetings from Carinthia/Austria.

I was a bit late for X-mas and only found the wrappers of the gifts. No strong wind today so it was safe to venture into the forest.
We walked to the end of the spit. On the way we found this box. Thanks for hiding it
I was too busy talking to notice that KiwiChris had picked up speed and when my garmin beebed I looked up, saw the hint onject and then realised that KiwiChris had the cache in his hand. Found along with P&Vee.
I knew that some members of the group were getting a bit twitchy about the time spent geocaching when we were meant to be walking, so I shot on ahead as soon as we got close to GZ. Container was in plain view, so I grabbed it and signed the log before the others caught up. The other cachers did likewise and we did a somewhat better job than previously of hiding the container away from prying eyes.

Found this after a quick walk from the freedom campsite nearby - good start to the day
No time to collect pipi today, although we had some from the area a few months back! Beautiful day to put theory into practice and get some sunshine Nice walk to gz, although I should not have taken the 'shortcut' TFTC!!

Walking the dogs on a very cold day but needed to get out of the house. Only found one out of three. Keeps the streak going. #1239
Quite a few people in their caravans and camper vans staying, it looks like very idyllic place to stay. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
A short stroll and we almost walked past it. Thanks for the series Found with debsnz

Too windy for the beach, so whiskasnz and I took a small drive to pick up a few more caches as I get closer to the next caching milestone. The sign warning us of a sealion on the track was nearly enough to put us off, but we risked it and to our relief didn't see the sealion or her pup. TFTC
Mum and I were freaking out the whole way to the cache site, we were so scared of seeing the sealion. We didn't see it but we did see where it had been sleeping really close to GZ. Mum found the cache, I was too busy keeping a lookout!! TFTC
A straight forward find, even though I might have come to it from the wrong direction. Thanks.
Found at 3:13:00 p.m. on 15/01/2015.
A quick walk and discovered the TB as well...

A sign up on the track warning of a sea lion, surely it can't be caching but we were so carried on for a short distance.
Thanks

Found this cache on the way to the camp site, good hiding spot and great location TFTC - left TB
Perfect day for a day out at the beach. Came across a sea lion mum and her baby in the dunes near the cache site. Amazing. TFTC.
This took longer than I expected as I went cross country and within metres of the cache encountered a wall of brambles. I beat a retreat and walked around to I found the path and then an easy find.
An overcast morning so I decided a wee trip North was in order.
Quite a few campers close to GZ and lots of people using the beach and playground, a quick find was made and extra care taken to make sure I got the number for the final.

Was lingering at work wondering what today's pre-Christmas prezzie from us04 to Dunedin geocachers was going to be... this "count-down to Christmas" is a lot of fun to watch! Went for a walk at Warrington instead. The grass is awfully dry already at the camping ground, but the native plantings look better each visit.
FTF at 9.20am. Was about to take the dogs for their walk so why not combine it with a cache? TFTC.
