4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache
The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.
If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

No sign of the cache and a string of DNFs.
CO has not logged in since April 2015. It seems unlikely that maintenance will be performed.
This is a nice walk and the location could be freed up for another cache hide.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Didn't find this one a few people haven't been able to either. Maybe it's gone walkies
Unfortunately no luck for me today. I didn't hae very good reception here for some reason and I think one of the neighbours was a little worried.
Thanx anyway KF

Out with dad for Father's Day cleaning up new caches and venturing further from home on the map.
Unfortunately we didn't find this one. Looked around, noted the GZ has changed slightly - came up with nothing. Thanks anyways.

Geo Wife & I were heading down to Gold Coast Airport, to pick up some international visitors, so we made sure we left earlier to grab a few caches.
This was had disappeared when we were here last time so we were very happy to see it had been replaced!!
We made the mistake of searching in its probable original location and then time was running short so we PAF and diverted to a new search area.
It took a few minutes still but I soon tracked it down, we were HAPPY to get rid of 2 black mark DNFs off our map!!!
Thanks KF & BC TFTC SL

I have recently been given a few film canisters.
So i thought I would use one to replace this missing cache.
I have added a log sheet and a zip lock bag. [^]
Clue is still relevant.
Slightly different spot to original placement but still within 5m of GZ co-ordinates.
Thanks for the cache.

Out and about for my daily cache.
I really should check the logs before heading to a cache.
O dear, such a string of DNF's.
So I am adding another NM log to hurry the CO along.

Looks like this one is missing or at the very least the log needs to be replaced and the cache placed in its original location.
Could the CO check on it please?
Could the CO check on it please?
Deciding to head somewhere cooler for the day, we found ourselves on this little trail.
After reading the logs, decided to give this one a miss.
Will be back hopefully.

Our newly converted caching buddy and friend wanted to do some caching today so we weren't going to refuse her as it gave an excuse (even though we didn't need one) for Geo Wife and I to do some more of our favourite game.
There was a great new group of caches down this way so it was our obvious choice!
We searched high and low all around the area but even with 6 eyes we couldn't spot the cache.
I hope it is still there but I do believe it has gone!!

No luck on this today. Another roaring party at the nearby caravan park. Seems to be a regular event.
We wandered around for quite some time and couldn't seem to get a good fix.
Thanks

Party going on in the caravan park lol sounds like they're having fun:)! well we're having fun collecting some cool caches this arvo along the beautiful Tweed river. This log is saturated!! CO this log needs replacing asap! Sorry we didn't have anything with us to replace. TFTC SL
A day out with friends doing some caches around the Tweed. Took a short time to find the cache but was soon found nearby to where GZ was. TFTC
Last time I tried for this it was MIA so after hearing it had been replaced and knowing I was going to be in the area it was a must do. Nice hide, coords seemed out to us but easily found anyway. TFTC
Coordinates changed from:
S 28° 11.637 E 153° 31.004
Coordinates changed to:
S 28° 11.707 E 153° 30.989
Distance from original: 433.3 feet or 132.1 meters.
I have updated where the cache was... I moved it down the road and changed the name from "Gone Fishin'" to "Mangroves on the Tweed"
The cache was removed from the first location, so it was easier to move the cache down the road a bit. The cache is now at the start of a lovely river side walk.

Well wasn't actually able to search much, had a kick and shuffle around, but when the drinking party started walking past had to abandon search for another day.TFTC.
Took geofriend, diamonjs, to look for the cache and she looked around and couldn't find it. I went over to where I had found it on Sunday and there is nothing there. May need a quick check.
*FTF* Just arrived home from Brisbane and the emails start flooding in - some are even down around Tweed Heads - wait a minute they are even closer! Hop in the car but too many fishing muggles near the first cache so on to the next. Able to park and use car as a shield from houses. Quickly found and signed but then someone turns up at park but not a cacher just checking on a ute that was there and then I was able to return container to GZ. Thanks kf8.

-- Story below how I came about getting this cache --
After booking my hair in 3 months ago so I wouldn't miss out before my birth I had booked it for 10am on a Sunday......
Months later (December) I realised what I had done and forgot about caching being released basically EVERY!! Sunday morning......After waking up at 9 there was no new cache emails....very strange usually 8am they start and I'm still asleep.
Got to hair dresses at 10am and within 10-15mins phone rings another geocacher giving me heads up new caches are out and I should go, I said I was at hairdresser and have fun
12.45 FINALLY finished hair and noticed more caches released recently of I fly picking ty up on way thru.
After find a few new caches in ormeau area I dropped ty home and went for these caches solo.
Found another FTF then came to this one
Got to the GZ and mugglers near boat ramp father and his two kids so I went over and had a chat with them, introduced them to caching him and the kids sounded very interested asked me to write down the name, and I also wrote my e-mail so they could contact me for help about the addictive game.
Found cache signed and replaced.
