While wandering town doing an AdLab we stopped here.
No luck for us finding this one today.
No luck for us finding this one today.
Shazzar66 & I looked separately and couldn’t find the cache. I was working on a puzzle, so let Shazzar66 do the hard work, as she’s got way better eyes than me. After a while, she came back saying she couldn’t find it, so we swapped: Shazzar66 worked on the puzzle and I looked for the cache. I couldn’t find it either. Could be there and we just didn’t find it though.
No luck today. Greetings from Adelaide. We had fun looking anyway and managed to complete the Ad Lab. Tftc
Out for a drive in the hinterland today.
Very picturesque area, certainly will need to return and explore some more

I was totally looking at the wrong thing, redirection made and so was the discovery of the cache!
Another detour for a cache to fulfill a challenge. Luckily was a quick find today. TFTC!
We are on an early morning caching tour in this pretty little town.

Quite busy in town today so stealth was a must.
Milling about & checking out the locale I took a quick peek where I thought the cache might be but couldn't see zip!
Mrs VC strolled over and spotted a tell-tale straight away.
Nice quick find.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

It’s taken me a while to spot this! Finally. It is the smallest cache I have found. Love it!
Such a sneaky hide in a very open area. While we were meandering our way through the adventure lab, wallabywanderers accompanied us with his Geo pup. It was a beautiful morning to be out for a walk, and this lovely small town is full of history. It certainly seemed that many families were outside enjoying the sunshine and the local play park.
While Mrs Domsky collected some numbers for the adventure lab, Mr Domsky set to work looking for this one. A very clever hide!
Nice one wallabywanderers!
Thanks

Out and about with Domsky today to attend the much loved Dunethin event. We met at Woombye and work ourselves up till the party started. A very enjoyable day we have had! Crawling on drainage, tree-fishing, collecting oldies and a joyous celebration at the camp albeit hampered by the looming 3 day lockdown.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here electro_man and WallabyWanderers. If it would have been a snake, it would have bitten me already! The CO said he is looking at it which meant it was right in front of me!

I didn't even know this town exists!
The hint was clear but clear enough but thankfully the CO was kind enough to put my nose on the container.

11:53:00 AM. After finishing the AL we walked back up to this cache. Saw the area and had bad thoughts but then spotted something that turned out to make the find wasy. Log signed. Thanks for the cache WallabyWanderers
Got phone call early in the week from Chamad to if I could be the taxi driver. Chamad made a list for some caches he was chasing and some Tree Fishing ones to. Plus 2 events and 7 cache types
I found 27 caches today, the break down was 20 traditional, 2 multi, CITO, Wherigo, earthcache, mystery and community event.
Sorry for the generic log.

A day out with Brislions on an educational journey collecting caches. The night before and I had set up a run with a variety of caches and a range of caches types that we required for certain challenge caches. He had a couple of extra ones to add that he found as we past. We collected a few not on the list as we passed them too and a couple of lab series that we passed as well. It was a good day with a wide variety of caches collected. Thanks for the chauffeuring today Brislions, it was a trip to remember.
This one was on my list as it had a particular attribute I was chasing today. We parked up and after a little walk I spied the cache hanging around. This was a fun cache to do, although it was an easy find for me today I could see how it could be a little tricky. All good with this cache, thanks for placing it here. With the log signed and the cache replaced as found we headed off to our next cache, we had no time to hang around today.

Found after a very satisfying rendezvous nearby with a bacon and egg sandwich for lunch. Tftc!
Coffee time with kestal and the CO... while seeking the aroma of coffee beans, we stopped by to find this sneaky little cache. Such a romantic story here, lol. Thanks for the cache, WallabyWanderers!
Visiting Woombye after a change of plans. Change of plans aren't always a bad thing. Meant for extra catch up time with the CO. On our way and we needed coffee and on the way there we stopped off at this one. Glad that we got the full story behind the name of this one...so classy. TFTC WallabyWanderers

I fear this may have been muggled. No sign of a micro anywhere near GZ. Well call by sharing another time.
Lovely little country town, found a nice spot to sit under some trees in the Main Street. Made a quick find. Now to check out the coffee shops to log our find. TFTC
Visited this cache a few years ago and got muggled out. MrsWallaby tried again today with the ol' "dropped my pen" trick to no avail. WallabyTim to the rescue using Zelda the WoofyWanderer for stealth! TFTC
Visiting from New Zealand for a new year's holiday, and have some time to fill so a-caching I shall go. Stopped here for a break and made the find. TFTC
In town a bit early for class. Sat down under a lovely tree for a snack and whaddya know there’s s cache there.
Coordinates bobbed around then naturally settled and marked the spot.
Thanks electro_man

I remember coming out for FTF the night it was published, and so many cachers turned up I ended up having a chat and said I would come back another time...here is that time, 4.5 years later.
Log is full electroman, maintenance is required...and I don't do nanos.
Thanks for the cache.

Last cache for the day with wombles.
Lots of muggles about so we tried to be as stealthy as possible.

Heading back south now nyssaflutterby and I stopped in to Woombye and grabbed this cache.
Lots of muggles around on a weekday but none taking any notice of us.

Pulled through Woombye for early-morning eats at Winnie, and after smashing an okonomiyaki with kimchi and chilli (breakfast of champions!), I walked across the road with the geokids and nabbed this one quickly. Thanks for the cache, electro_man.

Travelling on my monthly trip from Beaudesert to Cooroy and return, I run a weekly pocket query 10 k's either side of the highway, slowly working through the several thousand. This was find **#2** of **4**.
I loved the story behind this one. Being from not around here I haven't heard any of it, nor do I know the Mayor but this sounds like a cracker of a story. Time to do some research hey. Being a busy area, stealth was definately required but it wasn't long before the cache was hand and the log being signed.
Thank you electro_man for this cache, cache was in great condition. Log was signed and replaced as found.

Out during school hours for a caching adventure between Palmwoods and Nambour, picking up some hitherto unfound caches.
What a nice shady spot, after nabbing the wee blighter thanks to the hint, I enjoyed checking out the murals on the loos across the road.

This find makes smilie # 5,669. TFTC **electro_man**, discover our TB

We are over from NZ. Visiting a friend in Woombye and found this cache at the end of a fun day in Montville looking at the scenic view of the Glasshouse mountains. A great end to fun day finding this micro! No pen so a wee snap of the cache for proof. TFTC.
We have set up camp at the Dunethin Rock Scout Camp.
Todays trip was to Yandina, Nambour, Palmwood & return
Visited many locations we had not been before, lots of great hides.
Thanks for placing this cache electro_man

We were in Woombye for Bollywood dancing - well ok, not me just EJCat! So Super Cuddles and I had some time off to check out some points of interest, namely this cache and the shops.
This is probably one of the most pleasant and comfortable nanos that I've ever done so thanks electro_man for placing one here in this lovely little town.

Lots of muggles
Phone GPS jumps everywhere. Took me ONE side of the road, up the road, back across. Trying to look inconspicuous. THOUGHT I was in the right general area. OH WELL, never know we might be back again. LOVE Kinmat Cafe.

We had to wait a while as a man was at GZ and the hint. The log is full with no space left for signing. TFTC
Had to visit Nambour today, to drop a friend off at the hospital for some tests, 4 hours later, all clear That gave me some time to fill in geocaching
Found OK, all with the cache.

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Staying a few days in Maroochydore, the plan was to head out to do a full day caching. Well we got back just after 4.30pm with 30+ and in time for happy hour to catch up with El Peregrinos.

We looked here first, saw nothing and moved on to the other side. Nothing here. Back to first side and the overlooked cache was found.
Nice spot at the top of the hill. Spotted quite quickly. Signed and replaced. TFTC
We have never been to Woombye before, so we thought we would duck down the street and have a little look. What a little gold mine of a street. The IGA was certainly having some sort of celebration here today balloons and fan-fare everywhere. Thankfully nowhere near where we needed to be. We were able to make the grab with no one bothering us on a Saturday morning thanks to the IGA, they were all up there.
We have decided that we won’t find any more caches here today as we will bring the geo-kids up here for lunch and a stroll through the shops, then we’ll also pick up the other caches up here. This is what we love the most about caching, the new places you come across. A place in the street sells duck pie so that in itself is worth coming back to try, we were too full on our breakfast to eat again yet today.
We will definitely rendezvous again in Woombye. Once cache was returned to safety we checked out the local art work, as it was on the toilet block where we needed to go, on the way back to the car. Is it the past era or back to the future?

What a lovely quaint town Woombye is. Sunny day, morning tea at the Bakery and rendezvou at the cache site. TFTC
This was the easiest of my finds for the day [^]. Gps pointed to a most definite and likely location, so I settled down for a rest and reached around and had my grubby knuckles on the container straight away. There were a couple of wandering eyes nearby but I managed to do the deed without drawing any suspicion. I found the container and log in great shape. Thanks for a great hide electro_man.
A tricky hide and what was a very unusual experience for me it was in the first place I looked. That does not happen very often. TFTC electro_man
First to find the replacement cache, yay. Searched methodically and of course it was in the last place I looked. Well at least I found it this time, my last attempt some years ago was a DNF. TFTC electro_man.
Havana and I had a go at this one but there were always too many eyes. So we sat and enjoyed the nice breezes. Thanks for the history lesson.
I am still trying to get back here to replace the cache. Shouldn't be much longer
