Did not find it but certainly worth the trip here because it is a very beautiful spot
Obviously didnt find it and knew it was MIA before going but i was intrigued on the placement so drove out anyway.
I assume this geocache washed away in the flood of 2017. The description said at the base of a tree but the water went more tgan half a metre above this point.
As with previous cancers no sign of this one. Coords were poi ting into the river and nothing at the bases of the trees by the gate. A nice spot that seems to have been cleaned up a bit recently. TFTC. Might be time for the owner to check this one out..
Accompanied with deafsanta, deafpwee, deafcat
We have been searched everywhere but unfortunately as we have 8 eyes but still no luck
Nearly getting dark and mosquitoes bother me
so we gave up.
So put DNF for us

On a motorcycle tour from Melbourne to Brisbane for 3 weeks through East Coast OZ... having fun and going for caches along the road - thanks for having this one out there! Greetings from Brussels, Belgium Merry Christmas!
Very rough terrain, wouldn't do it if it was wet. Drove in halfway and walked the rest. Lots of litter - dodgy area, didn't feel comfortable.
I found the co-ords changing about a bit here and it made it difficult to concentrate on just where I should be looking. I found the cache the second time I checked where I found it, lol. I was going to settle the GPS and put in my log the co-ords that worked for me today but as I was about to do that a car of young men arrived and as I was by myself I thought it better not to hang around. I'd love to come back another time though and find the cairn and the monument to the early inhabitants of this area. Thanks for bringing me here king-fisher8. I enjoyed the area today.
Oh, and the young men arrived in a regular sedan car. There are lots and lots of very wide potholes along the road in and today they were all full of water, but none seemed too deep. I was in a 4WD though and had no problem, but the sedan got in too.

We walked it... two chickens too chicken to brave the speed bumps then the unknown further than we could see and ended up being glad of it when we saw the potholes after the bitumen ran out. After the recent rain you could easily sail in some of those. As dorky as it sounds we were not there for the cache but rather we were on hunting expedition for a piece of history.
We didn't find what we came looking for, but we did find the cache and we did find the original Oxley Cove dedication cairn - about 190m further along the bush track from the cache. The co-ordinates for the cairn are S28 14.247 E153 32.847 Also nearby is a memorial to the original Minjumbal inhabitants of the area.
Thanks for the cache.

A nice little spot, shame about the rubbish and graffiti. A few people fishing and chillin' but as we had the geomuts we blended in. At first we looked on the wrong side of the path but once Mr. Herbz used his geosense he soon came up with the find. TFTC.
We were out today with Team Benders and seeing we had come here to do a nearby cache, Team Benders also wanted to do this one, having missed it last time in the area. Mr CO is right about the track and its condition! Not good enough for a Geo-Falcon we walked in and Team Benders had found the cache where it wasn't last visit. On the way out we did quite a bit of CITO for aluminium cans which littered the area.
Found at 5.30pm on 24th October 2015. TFTC.

Out today with RoddyC and after visiting a nearby Event, we decided to do a couple of caches in the area.
I had missed this one last time as it was muggled.
Today the car would not go down that bumpy road so we took a walk to GZ.
I arrived first and soon had the cache in hand and now to wait for the others.
The log was signed and the cache returned to hide.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks king-fisher8 All good with this cache

Quick find once we had the hint - smartphone coords are inaccurate!! Nice little off-road for the 4WD after the rain last night
We are having a couple of night at Boyd's Bay caravan park before heading home.
This was an area we had not been to before so it was a very nice scenic drive, geocaching as we went.
Visited some great locations & found some interesting caches.
This road is so badly pot holed, I would not like to take my Mazda along it. The hint helped in finding this cache.
The terrain rating could be a lot higher.
Thanks for placing this cache king-fisher8

Out with dad for Father's Day cleaning up new caches and venturing further from home on the map.
Oh my goodness. Didn't realise how bumpy and hole -y the track was until we hit it. Lucky I have a 4wd.. After the bumpity bump along the way we reached a nice spot with a good view. Thanks for showing us this hidden gem.

Found this while I was staying just up the road at some relos. Thanks for the nice walk:)
It was super dumb of me to come here after it rained. I thought I might not get out. Fingers crossed. TFTC though. I left a mini smartphone stylus.
Out and about in the car today after a meeting nearby.
Maybe I should of brought the MTB, the road in is a little bumpy but drive-able.
But once at the end the fisherman ignored me while I made my way to GZ.
A quick find using the hint as the co-ords would of had me in the water.
Thanks for the cache.

Cache container was unfortunately full of water - we tipped it all out - dried out the container - luckily the log book was dry!! I think the lid was on crooked from the last person!! There were no swaps so I filled it up with swaps from my bag I alsoput the whole container into a snap lock bag to try to avoid it getting filled up with water again!!! Thanks for the cache !!!
Geo Wife & I had to pick up something from down this way so we combined it with our favourite game and went to grab the new ones around the area.
We had started with a DNF which didn't please us so we were determined to make the rest smile on the map.
Now with 2 Finds under our belt we weren't going to let anything stop us in making it 3!!!
We knew that we would be facing a dirt road but as we finished the bitumen we we looked ahead and then remembered the heavy rain of a few day before!!!
Ahead of us lay large areas of puddles of unknown depth but as I've already stated we weren't going to let anything stop, of course we had the option of walking but what fun would that be!!!!!!
We have a 2 wheel drive vehicle but we thought we would see how far we got!!!
We started gently, trying to avoid the worst of the depressions until we came to a very large area of water which covered the whole track.
Geo Wife who is never shy when there is a bit of fun to be had jumped out and proceeded through the water to test its depth and solidness and I followed through in the car after her, so we continued until we got to clearer track, then she jumped back in, so in the end we got to within 70 metres of GZ and stopped then only because we were not sure about turning around any closer.
We checked the hint as we approached the gate and followed the GPS for a short time then I decided to take alternative action and came up with the prize seconds later!!!!
This a really beautiful view over the water from here, thanks for bringing us here and for being part of our fun today!!!

No luck with this one after coming through the large craters and geopartner broke the dust cover underneath the car.
I headed to GZ and looked for the cache but it had disappeared. Cache -napped.

A day out with friends doing some caches around the Tweed. Along the road towards GZ were mini craters (no sorry large potholes). Soon found and we moved on TFTC
Nice easy find with joo joo57, gullivers travel54, Richmond lad and Diamonjs. Nice day to be out on the water. TFTC
cache find #2212 With the recent rains, the pot holes were very full, and made for a bumpy and muddy ride to near GZ. A short walk and the cache was found very quickly. TFTC.
A quick find after driving through the swimming pool size potholes. Nice views of the river. TFTC.
Wow that was some bumpy ride glad I didn't try to bring my little car in. Nice easy find once there. TFTC

-- Story below how I came about getting this cache --
After booking my hair in 3 months ago so I wouldn't miss out before my birth I had booked it for 10am on a Sunday......
Months later (December) I realised what I had done and forgot about caching being released basically EVERY!! Sunday morning......After waking up at 9 there was no new cache emails....very strange usually 8am they start and I'm still asleep.
Got to hair dresses at 10am and within 10-15mins phone rings another geocacher giving me heads up new caches are out and I should go, I said I was at hairdresser and have fun
12.45 FINALLY finished hair and noticed more caches released recently of I fly picking ty up on way thru.
After find a few new caches in ormeau area I dropped ty home and went for these caches solo.
Found another FTFs then came to this one for the last of the day.
Drove half way along off road track till massive puddles parked to the side and walked the rest nearly falling over several times. found the cache easily took floater and left TFTC sticker. On my way back I see a little none fwd go though fine hahaha and my car is AWD oh well got the cache didn't need torisk is as I was alone no one to push if I got stuck hahahaha
