Found It!A quick find here which was good since there were a couple people standing nearby trying to sell Jesus to people wandering past, and they weren't getting any interest from anyone.TFTC
Quick stop during my post work run to find this one Tftc ! Greetings from France
This evening I took a walk along the nice boardwalk. The views over to Brisbane is just stunning... On the way back I gave this cache a chance and found it pretty fast. A real nice place for cache! Thanks for placing it here and best regards from Germany!
I am down under for the very first time. ???? Visiting Australia has always been a dream of mine, and I cannot believe it has come true. Australia's nature and wildlife really captivated me. Over three weeks, I saw many wonderful beaches, sunsets, animals such as ????????, and I found great geocaches. My tour guide was mostly geocaching, and through it, I discovered many beautiful places I wouldnt have seen without our great hobby. I mainly stayed in Brisbane but also visited other gorgeous places such as Noosa Heads and Springbrook. I spent a few days on the Gold Coast and Moreton Island, and I went to New South Wales to have visited a second state in Australia. During my stay, the winter and early spring in Queensland were very warm, the sun shone every single day, and I did not see a single drop of rain. My time down under was so beautiful and unforgettable. Australia is such a stunning country!????? Today I spent another day in Brisbane. I really like this city and I discovered beautiful places. I visited the Mount Coot-Tha Summit Lookout and enjoyed the wonderful view even though it was a bit cloudy. I walked down to the beautiful botanic garden. In the afternoon I went back to the city centre. I also looked for many geocaches like this one. At GZ I found the cache easily. After signing the log I put the container back as found. Thank you for this geocache says Mr. J. Cacher from the other side of the world ????
#5674Mathsnuts are over from the UK visiting the inlaws. Today is our last full day and I was keen to get the virtual on Story Bridge, so we did a loop from Kangaroo Point via the bridge and other caches. We started with the free ferry from Dockside over to Sydney Street and then walked through the streets until we came to the start of the boardwalk. I spotted what was likely to be the host and Mini Maths and I checked a couple of spots before I found the right location. The lid has gone but the log is perfectly dry and almost all of the back of the logsheet is still blank TFTC
Quick find - probably needs some new paper and a new container as theres no lid to it. TFTC
I arrived in Brisbane, from New Zealand, on Tuesday night, about the same time as the rain. Now that the rain has gone and I am still here, it's time to start finding some local geocaches. This one is not far from where I am staying, so was a nice walk after work tonight. No problem deciding where I wanted to look, and after checking a few spot I found that cache. No lid, but otherwise all good here.---Thanks to teenyntonka for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
Brisbane Day 2: On The Other Side of the RiverTodays schedule was jammed packed with things to do, and of particular interest were the caches in South Brisbane, and U of QLD at Saint Lucia (which I learnt was pronounced as Lu-chee-ia and not Lu-see-ia) on the ferry. It was also river cruise day, making maximum use of the 50 cent fare trial period, and hopping on and off at all the various stops on the Central Brisbane area. Ended off the day at Kangaroo Point, and crossed the Story Bridge back into the CBF to end the day. Walked 37.5k steps today over 26.5 km, making for a very crazy day of geocaching. Thanks for all the caches across Brisbane - they all made my day in some way or another. This is the specific log for this cache: Popped by here after finishing off the AL at the ferry pier nearby and had to kill some time before crossing the river to Kangaroo Point. Nice little bit of heritage highlighted here, though a plaque explaining the significance may have been nice. But, these things are pretty common nautical adornments in maritime areas like this one, so it is where it ought to be. Thanks for highlighting this and the cache!
The Brisbane marathon was on this morning with runners jogging past looking in absolute agony. We really can't see the fun in this. Anyway in a gap Mr Herbz quickly dived in and made the sneaky find. Fortunately we had our Geomut with us so we didn't look too suspicious. Unfortunately we didn't have a pen on us so Mrs Herbz marked the logbook with her lipstick. TFTC
We got on a citycat when it should have been kittyhopper and they were very nice about it. We were only going a short distance anyway. Walked along the street before the river walk and made the find. My wife especially enjoyed talking with one of the neighbors. Assure the cache we continued to Felons Brewing for a tasty ipa. TFTC
A very brief visit to Brisbane to see friends and relatives, and see the Chemical Brothers at Riverstage tonight. Back to Adelaide tomorrow in time for the mega!Heres a spot that I would have passed numerous times in Mt Brisbane cycling days. I had timed this one well, with almost no passing traffic at this time in the afternoon. Not an easy find! Why is this here? Is this where the cruise ships used to tie up before they built The Gateway? Way too busy to put much thought in here. Thanks for the hide teenyntonka.
It is there! I was childminding two potential geokids today and we had a search. All's well. Always great to come to this place at any time of the day or night.
Mystery getaway weekend found us in Brisbane. What do do, go Geocaching.TFTC

Apologies for the late log here (12.01.24) but I've had a busy time since getting back to the UK.A final 'mop up' of walks and caches I'd fancied in Brisbane brought me here from the Wilson Lookout for a bit of both. A fast find followed and I headed back into town with a smile on my lil furry face. Thanks for a cool one.TNLN-TFTC!SP (UK) on an epic trek right around the world.
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
Just one cache today as I try to keep my streak going. I have previously looked for this cache without success. Today it was an easy find in a location that I looked in last time ️ TFTC

Visiting Brisbane from Sydney and out for an early morning walk. It does seem funny to have this anchor here without any plaque to describe it. Perhaps it is just holding the footpath down. And it does provide additional decoration along with the river as you walk along. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
