Hi there RoadRunna,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days so others know exactly what is happening with this cache - please don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers, so without your note on the cache page telling them what the situation is, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and, when the listing is next checked, all will be fine for a little bit longer. But be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date), please ensure you visit this page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks so as to keep everyone up to speed with what is happening.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)
Thanks for you cooperation,

We walked passed and overlooked it so so long! Hard for people who have had so sleep LOL
Hi there RoadRunna.
We found your cache **"Grunt and Gears"** today. (This makes our find count 24177).
We headed into Geelong today, on another errand, and managed to log a few caches as well - what a bonus.. We were glad to venture out and enjoy the sunshine even though the air itself was ffreezing.. We had a successful day & found 5 caches & DNF'd 0 .
Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Cache Condition:** The container is in good shape. A new log sheet will be required fairly soon.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing.
Thank you for placing this cache here & adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Hope it's back to the right place. I had to quickly throw it back as three intimidating magpies slowly cornered me out of the area...Phew. TFTC
Reliving childhood memories of Eastern Beach and the swimming pool, although I didn’t venture into the swimming pool.
A nice stroll along the pathway before returning via the roadway to the geo wagon parked in Brougham St @Deakin. Yes! I like to wander, and it was a great sunny Autumn day.
Great view from GZ and an easy find. TFTC

Found this one quite quickly. Not sure what the ‘threading’ was at the container was just lying by itself? Not sure if it needs some maintenance or if this is how it was supposed to be?

Nice easy find with my geocacher in crime, Elektraphoenix.
Would call it a micro cache rather than a small one though!
Will need some fresh paper too. We took the last available spot.

Looking for a place to put our collectable - little small to put in here! Will try for somewhere else in the area - great find family!
DNF. Could not find. A found a green pen in a hollow. Was wondering if that was part of the cache.
Great views over the bay here and a few cars up here taking it in. Didn't hear any grunts but maybe this wasn't the time. As to the hide I wasn't quite sure which spot the GPS was pointing me too, but eventually I looked properly and found it. Thanks RoadRunna
Okay kept looking and reading comments and found it lol, just a bit scary. Alaolost my pen climbing around haha. So took photo instead of cache and sending it in
After jumping back after finding a spider in one of the tree holes I decided to look in one of the other trees but was caught off guard again with another big spider in one of the tree holes. I'll leave this one for later
I don't know if we were looking In the wrong spot or what but couldn't find it anywhere!
Had a brief look in “exactly where you’d expect” but had no luck today, particularly due to the large muggle population in the area. We will have to return for a second attempt some day soon...
What a lovely place for my 400 find. From wet and cold uk. Loving geo caching in Australia tftc
In the morning I jumped on the bike and headed to Eastern Park to complete some of the caches there. Having just completed a whereigo and collected the information for a nearby multi I stated to head back. This cache was on the way. I had an idea where to look but the urgings of a previous cacher, in their log, made me commit. A quick find. TFTC.
Like so often occurs, after a long search (while trying to not arouse the suspicions of muggles finishing work), it was found exactly where you would expect. TFTC
After a meal in town we decided that we would venture along the waterfront and pick up this cache.
A quick find on a quiet evening.

Travelled to Geelong today for the Christmas series on events and to also revisit a few of my past DNF's to correct their status.
