Swung by on boxing day to see if it might be replaced but to no avail, I think this cache might be abandoned.

Definitely needs a CO check with the mounting DNF’s and a NM log.

Even with DNF logs we thought we were in the area so why not have a look. Hard to get access with all the work going on but no luck here today. Needs a CO check please as it hasn’t been found in over a year.

Looking at previous DNFs I didn't have much hope but I still went to try my luck. Indeed there is no monument here or a cache to go with despite having a good look around.

Found it straight away. Easy if you know what to look for.

We not only rode the wave, the Geokid slid up and down it. Still not able to find the cache. I did wonder if it got cleaned up before the games, but given the amount of rubbish in the bushes that's probably not the case, it's probably just is not being able to find it!

Found whilst on a Diving training camp for the 2018 Comm Games. We've been walking past this one and planning to get it as it's the only one near by. We've travelled all the way from the UK - Plymouth in fact. Almost time to head to the Gold Coast for the Games to begin. Tftc - looks like rubbish but it isn't

Rolled up here as I approached a caching milestone and did a couple of laps looking for a car park. Then wandered down the path to GZ. Sat on a bench reserved for smokers which felt a bit weird. I’m definitely not a smoker

Lots of foot traffic in both directions and I grabbed the cache in a break. Sadly, the garden has been damaged by (presumably) geocaching activity. Can’t imagine that anyone else would trample the plants to that extent. Plz be careful!!!

Great weather for Geocachers today so why not go to the Burbank area. Patrol14 has joined us.

Last time we were here the cache could not be found. Today it was a case of IPS.

Out for a morning caching with RoddyC and this was next on the list. I must admit have never been here but surprised what is here. Found the cache a bit exposed so after signing the log, hid cache a bit better in its hide.

Today we had to head to Sunnyvale to watch our grandson play rugby, we stopped to find some caches on the way.

Nice quiet stroll through sports complex

Used to come here for school events, many moons ago...Had never realised there was a Theatre within the complex, so we're keen to learn more! Thanks for bringing us back down memory lane . Sneaky Squirrels

A quick find while at Qld

Out with Franjastia for the children's swimming lessons this was so close we just had to find it nice quick find tftc

Out and about today watching the regional swimming I popped out and manage a quick grab between heats.
Speaking of heats it's still steaming hot out there!
I didn't have a pen on me so snapped a pic of the log and have attached it with the statue photo.

Dropped off my friend's son at weightlifting at another part of the complex, and thought 'hmmm, I'll just have a look and see if there's anything to be found...!'. Sure enough, there's one very close by. Quickly found a park spot for the cachemobile, wandered over to GZ, quick look and there she is . TNLNSL, TFTC

Very busy today with a swim meet on, but had fun looking for but a strange muggle lady kept looking sideways at us as we were trying to keep cool finding shade TFTF

Well I thought this place would be relatively quiet given that today was a Sunday... I think it must be the busiest day of the week here! Finally after 'observing' the statue for a while, I had some ease in the foot traffic, and dived in for the find.

Approaching GZ there was suprisingly no muggle activity and spottted a likely place with the telltale man made trampled pathway.

Sure enough first place we looked there it was.

Found this cache while visiting to see my niece attend her first state competition for gymnastics. Nice hide, and I think I have vague memories of this thing from expo when I was 8. TFTC.

My turn to go on chauffeur duty for my sister who is attending Hairspray rehearsals, and Gunnie69 informed me of this conveniently located cache so I figured it worth checking out .

Arrived at GZ to find a few muggles milling around the area and not looking like they were going to leave anytime soon; so I just opted to have a look around anyway using the "I'm a curious teenager" approach... Hopefully it worked!

I've read the log from the CO that it is just a temporary cache, so not sure current location and/or position is correct; but it's there!

Visiting Chandler sports centre today and was happy to see a cache nearby. I headed off to GZ where the cache was soon in hand.

Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Co-ords were spot on for me today.

Whenever I have brought the kids here for events there have been far too many people around to hr traipsing through a garden. So, today, I decided to go after the kids went to school, knowing that there were no events on.

At GZ I still had to sit on a park bench for 10 minutes or so while I waited for a few people who were walking along the path to get to where they were going.

Once they were gone, I entered the garden and began looking around under the wave. Having no luck, I decided to walk around the other side of the sculpture and, as I did, noticed some rubbish on the ground. I picked it up and it turned out to be the cache, sitting out in the open.

I returned to the nearby park bench to sign the log and then placed it under the wave where I assume it should have been.

Took a bit of searching until eagle eyes was able to spot it.

Purely a convenience grab this afternoon, as I picked Junior Gunnie up from Hairspray rehearsals in the nearby theatre... [^]

I parked nearby, nipped over to GZ, figured I should approach from "this side" and hello, container spotted immediately. I stayed where I was for business as I was nicely out of sight. With my details added to the log, I tucked the cache back in place, added the camo then shot through to grab Junior.

I came to check on my cache and could not find it! I have replaced the container with a temporary one (not magnetic) untill I get the chance to return with a permanent container.

Long time between drinks so I made a special excursion today just to find a cache. THis was the nearest to home. It has been a long time since I have been here an fit may have even been to attend dance fever which was on today. The car park was chockers and there were quite a few people sitting around escaping from the noise that is your favourite child dancing with his/her school friends.

It didn't take too long to spot the cache.

Over grabbing a few caches on this side of town and we headed here for the last one of your caches that I have not found.
I had a fair idea where this one would be and it did not disappoint.
After the cache was found and signed and returned, we were allowed a tour of the facilities which I had never been to.

The kids enjoyed riding the wave running up and down whilst I wandered here and there trying to find the cache. It was well camoflagued and quite difficult to spot. I think I found it more by good luck than by skill. Thanks mtill17 for this cache. It was so lovely meeting you last weekend!
