Came to thus area before after the piano had reappeared but the cache had not been replaced. Returned after the maintainence and spent about 5 mins looking. Not too many people around. Nice hide

On a visit from Scotland to follow the British and Irish Lions rugby tour and pick up a few Geocaches along the way, beautiful country and friendly people, can see were this one should be but someone cut it away . Took a couple of looks for this cache before my event but didn't spot the cache. After discussion at the event it turned out that I had almost got it several times so a quick find this time.
Nice to see the piano in such nice condition, hope it survives better than the one at the other GZ.
Although I enjoy music I am not a pianist so it was look rather than play.
Nobody around on most of my visits, on the last one a couple of boys played the piano briefly just as I arrived in the area but fortunately they soon moved on.
But after searching three times I probably feature rather too often on the security camera!

we headed off to Wanganui last this morning to get some caches this was our third for the day, co ordinates were slightly off but the clue helped and of course the name. it was quiet in town today so not much worries about muggles to worry about. found the cache signed the log and placed it back where it was found in its nice dry little spot. Now off t get the next cache. Thank you for placing a cache here, always nice to get a town cache with very little foot traffic around TFTC

Nice find took me about 5 minutes to realise how to get it, while my friend was playing the piano TFTC

Heading home from attending the 2016 International GIFF event in Palmerston North. Off for a walk while partners in geocaching satisfy another more pressing hunger. I'd done the previous street piano caches so only right I get this one too. TFTC Played it again

No this was a cool hide. for the first 5ish mins of my search my phone gps had me on the wrong side of the road searching. On decision it must be the other side I made a quick find. TFTC

Wanganui Day 2
After lunch we wanted to head towards the ocean, although it isn't a pleasant sight.
We found a variety of caches in many different hides. This was liking a tiki tour of the area.

Out for a southbound mission with fellow cachers, Thatsneat and TMNT, trying for a 50 caches in one day down in Whanganui. This one is our number twenty on a devation on the Riverside Ramble Walkway, cache all good and very nicely hidden, took a tinkle on the ivory just to please the locals. The key is to go in the late evening with very few muggles around. Quickly tuned in to find the cache. tftc.

This cache was one of the many caches we found on our 6 day campervan journey from Tauranga to Lower Hutt via Waihi, Cambridge, New Plymouth and along the west coast to Wanganui and back to the Hutt. A mighty and enjoyable journey which took us to many great and iconic parts of the north island and of course some great geocaches. Many thanks to the many CO's for the great cache placements and for bringing us to so many new places. Sorry about the generic log but 200 plus to log. TFTC

We finally found a good place to leave our car and went to see Wanganui. This was our first attempt and a really cool cache. After finding the container and signing the logbook we played some music. Alle meine Entchen.

Wow that's not something you see everyday. Very quiet at GZ this afternoon which I was thankful for. A quick find.

Searched around a bit then back at the first place I looked and found it

#6900. We came by after dinner to Guyton Street on this wet Saturday evening. Initially looked at the wrong side of the street, but the correct GZ was found almost immediately afterwards. The street was all quiet at this time. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Found this one this morning while it was quiet. Nice quick find. TFTC

A mission was needed to complete one of the last few licence challenges on Rangitoto Island, so a passing comment to C&D at an event and this mission was soon planned. We nearly achieved what we set out to accomplish, with only 1 more cache to find to complete the challenge but that was due to miss-reading the fine print on the challenge page.

So with the mission lasting 48 hours we amassed a great set of numbers, 317 caches found, just over 1200km travelled, about 7 hours of sleep, C&D finding his 180th earthcache, completing the KAS powertrail in under 3 hours and finding numerous amazing geocaches. A lot of fun was had along the way, and some great memories were created. A big thanks to everyone for placing all the caches along the way, this mission wouldn't have been as much fun if they weren't there!

Nice and quite here this evening, so no troubles hunting for the cache. Had it in had within a minute or two, thanks for the hide.

Well another mission down the line in what HKCB and I were expecting to be another large caching weekend where numbers were the target, Sleep was for the weak, OCD=commitment , and petrol was a must. We left home at 6pm and headed straight down here to start what was going to be a long couple of days, so with much planning (compliments of HKCB) and a good supply of nourishing caching supplies in the back.
With a total of 1250 kms (just a short drive) and 5 hours of sleep we were definitely going to earn our rest by Sunday evening when we got home. Oh, we even managed to attend an event along the way and meet fellow cachers from the area while in Wanganui.

Well it might just be a new day but we've already covered some miles in the quest for smilies. Sleeping in the car never gets any easier on the body but it does have the added bonus of saving money for more petrol.
This was my seventy first for the day since we awoke this morning but also our one hundred and eighty second for the day not too shabby we think. Managed a nice quick find here, so late in the afternoon we didn't have to worry about muggles. Don't know about tickling the ivories, but we certinaly found a few caches. Our goal for the day is to collect as many caches as possible and make it to the event in the evening, we are glad to have finally made it this far
Thankfully both HKCB and I enjoy caching through the night (and the day), well we have had plenty of experience of it, especially as we are both working on individual challenges, mine being the DGSc Challenge and includes the Night Caching elective.

So much foot traffic due to market day, that we gave up and had a look there.
Upon returning there was less people and cache was soon in hand.

Another one the kids really enjoyed (although anyone in hearing distance might not have lol). Mr 10 said where he thought it was, we said don't think so, then after a few minutes hunting decided to check and sure enough, he was right! TFTC

Had a tinkle on the ivories then started looking then got interrupted by some Maori lads who also played a tune (much better than me!). After they wandered of I resumed my search which fortunately only took a few seconds. Thanks for the cache. I love this idea.

the line has become loose and we have tried to fix it as best we can, cache owner may need to check it. It was loose before we got there so wasn't too easy to spot. Thank you for the cache!

This was a straight forward cache. And knowing what I might be looking for. (ie possibly similar to the other piano cache). It was a quick unnoticeable snatch and discreet sign and return. I hope this piano lasts longer than the previous one as they do look good on the footpath.. thank you for the cache.
