Thanks for the find, was not paying attention to gps but suddenly saw a likely tree and spotted it straight away
Initially the phone took me to the wrong tree and I searched fruitlessly. Tried a couple of others and was about to admit defeat, when on the walk out I spotted another possible contender and there it was. Thanks for the hide.
A worthy diversion to this nice wee dell, plenty of awesome large tree specimens. Needed the soiled in the end, and to reach in a little bit more after missing on first pass.Took Friday off for travel as Im heading up into Taranaki for a couple of days out New Plymouth way. The last few times Ive visited Ive been time poor and have done Bulls- NP-Bulls in an extended driving day and been dead beat when I got back. This time I gave somewhere to stay so can enjoy my journey there, my time there, and the trip back. Also less pressure when searching and the Autumn weather is being kind too. Redeemed a couple of DNFs created a few more and had a nice time. Good to complete some Ad Lab series too and the Taranaki region COs are thanked for their hides and maintenance.
Whilst on a mission to the Naki with ABCDF4, Squirrel Nutcase and Fap ( Fap & Gap), found this cache hiding in the appropriate area. TFTC
Kings Birthday weekend we are off down Taranaki with Squirrel Nutcase , Fap ( Fap & Gap)
and EyespyBen
Some will be signed HRP Team or Individual
The weather is great {cold}
Bit of a search for this
Nice hide thanks

With ABCDF4, eyespyben, and Gap (of Fap and Gap)... A planned expedition into the Taranaki region. All logs were signed with our individual handles, or Team HRP (Huntly, Rotorua, Papamoa) depending on who accessed the logbook first...
King's Birthday Sunday: It rained heavily overnight, and today was marginally better. We noted that this hide hadn’t been visited in almost a year, so wondered if it was still in play. After a steady walk to ground zone and a brief search, we’re pleased to report the cache is here and in good order. Thanks Priceless Time & trayc.g. TFTC.

Gos was a bit erratic so checked a few until found it. Some nice trees in here and the wobbliest bridge I have been on in ages. Thanks.
Up from Ashhurst for the Colgate Games and filling in time while waiting for the last event! Dragged Miss 8 out for a lovely wee walk. This walk was a nice cool quiet change from the hot noisy TET stadium! TFTC
A nice stroll through here and a relatively straightforward find after missing it on the first check.
Found it! Although we didn't come prepared with a pen so we couldn't Co plete the log book sadly... Easy to find and great pic that helped us get to the right place since my GPS was off by approx 10m
A nice walk to do a maintenance check for Mum. Realised I’ve never logged this in the numerous times I’ve been here. Picked up a throw down cache that was right next to original cache. All good here. TFT FP
After the concert in New Plymouth last night Arcane Junior, my wife and I are now on our way back to Whanganui. Naturally we decided to try and nab a few more caches on our way home.
What an awesome little scenic reserve. Arcane Junior and I had a great time strolling through the forest.
We searched for a couple of minutes at the GZ and Arcane Junior came up with the cache. After reading the hint and getting close we abandoned the GPSr and just kept hunting - it turns out we’d walked right past it upon arrival!
TFTC Priceless Time!

Gps was hard to follow as my device is very basic but persistence pays off. Fun find thanks
An awesome wander through the bush, lots if discussions with miss 7 as to which tree, we definitely found it the hard way. GPS gets you close but the photos where the best help. Great camouflage of the cache container. Need to be a ground level to see it.
A pleasant wander through the reserve, and with the help of the photo we eventually found the correct location, then the cache. TFTC
.Another walk amongst some amazing trees. I love trees so this gets a fav from me. This cache remained elusive for some time. But finally got it snagged and tagged. Cheers
Day 8 - Saturday 21 December. A long day from New Plymouth to Egmont, then Stratford and back to New Plymouth for a few well earned ZZZZs.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are spending Christmas exploring Taranaki via geocaching. Its been an amazing 3 week adventure. Rattls BBQ was a great event, meeting many other cachers. But also managed to fit in a few more events, especially New Years Day celebrating the start of 2020. Lots of caches - over 500. Lots of cache maintenance. Lots and lots of kilometers. And lots of amazing places visited along our journey. Mt Taranaki remained elusive for much of our travels and the caches on it at the top. Loved Pukekura Park Night Lights Show and the the Wooden Mechanical toy exhibition at NP Info centre.

Well that was a challenging find! Nice bit of bush. I plotted the track and hope to add it to the maps shortly.
Day eight of Taybeedragon's and my big 3 week circumnavicaching trip around Mt Taranaki, starting from Palmerston North. Today is up the mountain and off to Inglewood.
Highlights:
* 3 weeks, 536 caches
* Mt Taranaki had been removed for washing, which was a bit of a shame. Even after it had been returned we were only allowed to see it for it was less than half an hour a day.
* High percentage of caches with crappy coordinates
* Amazing Pukekura Park
* AMAZING Pukekura Park light show!
* Pukeiti Gardens
* Lots of cache maintenance!

Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](https://coord.info/GC87777) - you won't want to miss it!

Been meaning to explore this little loop for a while! Finally got the chance! Tftc
Found this with Inglewood GirlGuides in April last year. Only just come back to log ourselves.

This was the eleventh day of my twelve day trip to go to the Wellington Mega. I am in and around New Plymouth grabbing as many caches as I can today.
I had trouble finding the trail head, so a waypoint would be nice. TFTC.

I stopped on the way home from work and went for the little walk. Soon recognised the tree and the hiding spot. Thanks for bringing me to this spot.

1 1/2 times round On my way from New Plymouth to Taumaranui, the long way via Wanganui picking up caches on the way! A group of us are meeting up in Taumaranui tomorrow to take a jetboat down the Wanganui river! Yippee! should be cool (in both senses of the word). My first stop on my caching adventure south was Inglewood to pick up the caches here.
Into the parkland I wondered, and wondered right past the path to the cache, so once I hit the river had to cut back up the hill, where I then spotted the right path that lead me to GZ. Quickly signed and was on my way again.
Cheers for adopting the cache, so it was here today. Liked seeing this little nature reserve.

Took the kids for a walk through this lovely bush, or did they take me for the walk? Miss 6 & 4 did all the detective work and led me to the location. Cache was quickly found by them and smiles all around. SL then home for ice blocks. TTFC
Tackled this one with free running toddler and baby in a pram - the pram part resulted in the walk being a little trickier than expected but cache found and all the walking party returned to the car in one piece! TFTC!
Managed to survive the family Christmas and now a chance to head away for a couple of days to New Plymouth with Mrs Dragon so that we can take a turn around the mountain and also make the most of the Pukekura Park Lights Festival.
Thirty first of the trip and located while heading down and around the mountain for a bit of a scenic drive. By now the weather that we had started with was not the same as the weather we had at this point as the skies were now clear and the mountain magnificent.
Today was a day we vistied lots of places selling juck (or as Mrs Dragon likes to say, "Searching for "bargins" in antique shops". Well if thats what she wants then I could at least find a few caches along the way. Great walk in here and well maintained area. Cache was soon in hand with no trouble
Thanks for the placement and the cache

I've seen this walkway many times as I've driven past and I always wanted to venture through this bush. I had some time today so I was keen to stop and hunt for this cache. The gps bounced around so I was grateful for the picture to help guide me. What a beautiful walkway.

Very cool walk and some amazing trees and scenery. Cache was found after I initially walked straight past it. Thanks for the hide.
I am up in new Plymouth for a few days visiting Mum in law and we went for a drive out to Inglewood and i noticed i did not have smiley face here and yet i was sure i had located it some time back so we went for a little walk along this track since it was all dry and and yes it was where i had thought and i had signed it so this is a very late log and date is only approx. Thank you for this cache and nice little walk once again.
Took the long way home after the Mega. finding lots of caches in new areas. TFTC
A great stroll through yet another bit of NZ urban bushland
There was the usual moss covered bridge on a muddy track to get in.
Then a shady stroll through the ferns, and greenery, across a suspension bridge above a babbling brook to enjoy
And at the end of a delightful stroll,
a short wander off track to find a cache [^]
Easy find this one !!
Despite its well concealed location

On our way home from New Plymouth decided to do some Inglewood caches and do this lovely reserve it didn't take long at all it was a peiceful walk no one around but us and the trees, found the cache quickly and signed the log and placed cache back where found. Thank you for placing a cache here otherwise we would probably never done this walk. Now to start heading home once again TFTC
Not to sure why my phone had me on Dudley Road, so looked at the picture and just headed on in, found straight away, like most people, have driven past this walkway and never stopped, did the loop walk to finish of my day, number 6 for the day, off home now, tftc Priceless Time
Nice hidey hole. Got here and realised my writing stick was still at home. Will return to sign log.
A lovely walkway with a fun bridge to cross. A few trunks over the path to clamber over. Took longer to find because GPS took us about 15m out so just checked all trees along fence line. TFTC
Down in New Plymouth for the long weekend and we did a circuit around the mountain - in cars. Stretched our legs here and went for a cache that I had my eye on a couple of years ago, but didn't have time to do it then. Glad to see that it's still here, lovely walk, TFTC
I had a bit of time on my way to a meeting in New Plymouth so I meandered up and grabbed a few caches on the way. Number 6 is one I have been meaning to grab for a while but today I had time to go for the short walk to grab it. The tree looked a little different, and the coordinates were pointing me 15 odd metres away but once I confirmed I was looking in the right tree I found the cache straight away. TFTC
Nice quick find here, lovely walk along the path way and well worth the time. TFTC
A wonderful bush walk in this secret reserve - thanks for bringing us here.
