Oh dear we came we searched we failed thanks for bringing us here. cheers from Ozglory
Nada for me today. Used my geo-senses like others and came up empty handed. May need checking..

No luck here today. Looked in the obvious places, saw some suspicious tape but no cache.
Found with Quesera and Bear0503, Bear0503 we’re following the GPS which took us off course then Quesera followed her geo sense and made the find TFTC
Sharpem, Bear0503 and i were on our way to Lake Samsonvale to celebrate Sharpem's 500th cache and we stopped off to find this cache. i left my gps in car and my geo senses took me to its hiding spot. Took a smiley badge and swapped it with watch. Thankyou for taking us to this beautiful spot. didnt see any Koalas today
I parked the car, looked where I ended up finding the cache and didn’t see it. After another few minutes returned to the first spot and looked harder
With not much to do today and my time house sitting in the region coming to an end I headed out today to find a 'close to home' cache and find the remaining Geosauraus caches. Now to find a few on the way home. [^]
I parked reasonably close to this one and made my to GZ. A quick find and sign before heading off to the next one. All good here.
Thanks for cache.

Parked within 5m of the cache and jumped out to make a quick grab. Saw something in the cache I'm sure my daughter will like, so made a swap. TFTC!
Rhobocacher stopped at this one so I could sign it.
It took a few minutes to find it as the phone put me between a few possibilities.

We were driving down the road admiring some of the gates to people's houses and also the amount of mowing they seem to be keen on. Some of the yard fronts would take all day on a ride-on. I don't mine doing a spot of lawn maintenance but not when it interferes with caching.
I parked in the driveway to the reserve and we started our search. I was drawn to some stump-like formations but they did not contain any magic. As we tranced around the daughter spotted something out of place and even after she pointed it out to me, I couldn't see it. Cache-blindness extreme! tftc

We were out and about today and found ourselves with a bit of spare time to find a few caches. We took a deep look in the obvious spot and easily located the cache. With our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you THE GREEN GECKOS for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

sad to give up, looked in many obvious places plus many others but no luck? Is it worth checking? Thanks anyway

Up here doing some of the other caches nearby by Orange Crew, we made the walk down to this one. A little concerned we may have inadvertently strolled down thru someone's property to get to this however as we were trying out the new GPS and hadn't really homeworked where we were heading. Anyway we were glad we hit roadside and found the cache shortly after.
We decided not to risk invading private property and took the road back - wow what a long walk that turned out to be, oops! However plenty of interesting sights - a freshly deceased snake which we almost stepped on (glad it was not alive!) along with a number of roadkill roads, beautiful Shetland ponies, a ladybird that hitched a ride for a while on 1GiantPanda and a beautiful horse, which we all wished we could've borrowed to get us back to where the car was. Oh well it's all about the experience and we certainly had an interesting one. Thanks for the cache THE GREEN GECKOS.

Hi there THE GREEN GECKOS. We found your cache "Koala Refuge" at 11:06:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11594.

After being confined to within sprinting distance of a toilet for the last few days due to some dodgey seafood, it was good to get out of the house today. We started off at a random cache and then navigated to the one the GPS said was next closest, and so on. We ended up logging 9 and DNF'd 1.
It would have been a nice stroll from the nearby puzzle cache, but we decided to drive anyway.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 9m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Grabbed Trackable: "RUBBE".
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Out this afternoon with half of the 4 triki seekers and my geo-mum for a few local caches. Not in the first or second place we looked, but eventually in hand. Left Koala TB. TFTC
We are visiting with Urdera and on a beautiful autumn day caching in the area was a real delight. Found this one after a short search. Thanks to THE GREEN GECKOS.
I had a friend to visit in Warner today, and afterwards I took a bit of a tour to grab some caches
Last one for the day, and I enjoyed the drive out here. Very glad the creeks were not overflowing. As I arrived at GZ I spotted the container lying on the ground, and the lid was not properly clipped up, so there was some water inside. The logbook was safe and dry in its baggie. I dried it all out before I tucked it away in the obvious spot. TFTC, THE GREEN GECKOS.

After a very crazy DNF close by I was still in need of a cache for the day. It was quickly getting dark, so I was looking for a simple drive by. This one looked to tick that box. I arrived at GZ and it took two seconds to find the cache. The tricky part was retrieving the beasty. A bit of this and that and wahla, cache in hand. I signed the log and then replaced the cache as it had been found.
Thanks for the cache THE GREEN GECKOS

Find #1454 at 21:17.
A quick find in the obvious spot. I used a stick to avoid sticking my hads where I couldn't see.
Cache is in good condition.

Couldn't find this one, despite a really good look around. Found a few likely spots, but all were empty
Found on the way home from collecting shiny things. The gps was uncooperative but the hide was soon found. Tftc:)
We were out with family today on a picnic before my daughter flew back to Cairns tomorrow.
This was our closest cache and we thought we would give it a go even though we did not notice the updated coordinates from the reviewer, we were able to deduce where it could be.
Pulled up at GZ and after a quick look around, I found the cache and added our name to the list.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks THE GREEN GECKOS All good with this cache

I saw this one get published and called Slow Puncture to see if they were going to go for it, as I was stuck at work!
Turns out Mrs SP was at GZ but the cache wasn't so, I jumped on Facebook and started trying to find an answer to where the cache could be.
Exhausting all possible options, I decided to try plugging the coords into Google Maps to see if I could figure out the correct coords as it was established that a figure must be wrong!
I changed a number and came up with a pretty good option, which I sent to Mrs SP. Tried another location which also could be a winner but didn't look as good as the first.
Turns out the first correct was on the money and the found was made!! Yeah!! I was almost as excited as those who made the find!!
So, I had to go put my name in the log now too!!

this one published as I was walking home from shops
rang fasted but he said no
arrived home to the garage door opening ... he had changed his mind
drop bag and pick up ribbons ... off we go
arrive to find friends already searching
one of which were heading up the hill to locate land owner
no I am not entering ... I can read the 2 dog warning signs
fasted and I are 40m out at the 'gate' so we begin our searching here
as we now have permission from a very confused land owner we have moved to GZ and started our search
hmmm ... fasted and I have been to a few before where just one number typo can put you out
it is usually by 50, 100, 1k
so we all decide to expand by said numbers
1k away we find an appropriate sign and an old wooden gate
have a good look but exactly 1k put us into the creek bed ... no I say this CO always gets her D/T spot on
so off we go in other direction
oh what do we have here ... exactly 1k, a sign, a gate and a really nice little spot that Kerry and I race off to ...WOOHOO ... TADA
found
thank you for the adventure with a great group of friends Green Geckos

A joint ftf that started off on the wrong foot. The leg work was done by Barb and fast ed as we headed to the wrong location. Tftc and a huge thanks to Barb and Ed for not giving up
Joint *FTF* When the notifications of a new Cache less than 3km away came in I dashed out thinking surely I must be a good shot at being FTF. As we all know, things are rarely that simple. GZ was indicated 40m past the edge of private property, and the land owner was contacted but was completely unaware of any geocache hidden. Turns out the coords were well out on this one, and it was found some distance up the road only after dogged persistence by Barb Ed and Kerry. Thanks for a new hide, nice to have more in the local area.
*FTF*
Joint FTF with many. Arriving at GZ I found all the regular culprits already searching. Appeared the GZ was on private property. Knowing how accurate the CO normally is, we figured it would be a number wrong, so we started searching up the road for about a kilometre without luck. Heading back the other way, we spotted something that matched the description at the 500 metre mark.
Pulls over and bingo, cache located.
Log signed, cache replaced, mark taken.
The co-ords that worked for us were:
S 27° 15.413 E 152° 55.260

*FTF* At home (unusally) for this time of day, having just been on the phone when a message came through to me on my mobile. Thinking it was someone just sending me another message, I didn't jump to it, but finished my present conversation and collected my mobile. Hmm... no message! Must be a FTF!!!!
Grabbed phone and raced out the door. Arrived at designated co-ords just ahead of another cacher! Introductions aside, we raced onto the property querying the "oddness" of this one. Another cacher arrives and then still more! Yee Gads! everyone is on deck and all agree that this can't be the location. A race up to the landowner with the inevitable query.. 'do you know anything about caching' ... the look on the owner's face gave me the answer before any words were spoken.. Not on this lot of land. We all decided to spread out and check out possibly other locations.
Messages going to and fro on the phone all the while and then another spot checked out with all agreeing that it also didn't look the obvious location. We headed off in the other direction up the road. A logical sign spotted.. a possible cache location also obvious.. a further check of the spot and BINGO! Found. Good job all round to everyone. Tftc, Slow Puncture

I was at South Pine sports complex when the pistol went off on this one. It was still another 10km away but I thought I might just be near enough to snatch another FTF from deep inside the North. I stuck to the main drag with no idea of Northside shortcuts at all, but I must have done all right because I pulled up at the original coords right behind Mrs Slow Puncture (nice to meet you!)
Our phones were really struggling out here and the trees produced nothing. Sanity then prevailed and we realised we were standing in someone's front yard! As our colleagues arrived, we shifted to standing on the footpath and working our way along the 'gate' but nothing popped up. Eventually, we split and headed in opposite directions, working on a good theory of what we were looking for (which was proven correct).
No hard feelings from me about mixing up one digit in the coords: it happens! TFTC in an area which was completely new to me.
Full credit also to barbbowman, FastEd and Kerry SlowPuncture for going to great lengths to share the *FTF* around among all those who turned out: great stuff! See you next time!
