Need a couple of caches today for Leap Day Souvineer so after playing at Grovetown Lagoon headed out this way. Now off to this pumping station for another quick snag and tag. Cheers
Nice hide and all in good condition. I didn't need the mascara brushes and left the GI Joe for some you der catchers. TFTC
An easy find with parking well off the road although it was very quiet with no other traffic around. TFTC
Nice easy one with lots of little residents hanging round. Log is beginning to look a bit worse for wear. Tdtc
Lol this was a little fun among the creepy crawlies! Goes to show how good the container works... TFTC
A nice quick find thanks. Sheep 1 side of the stopbank, vines on the other.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee tour of the North Island. We of course had to get there first, and today we cruised around Blenheim and then off to catch the ferry tomorrow., The weather was fine and sunny, until we hit Picton, and now it is raining. We're still having a lovely time.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to visit!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on wet or plastic logs)
*Another good cache located - now onto the next one!*

Been in the South Island visiting the grown up kids who are on Uni holidays. Travelling home but mechanical problems means an extended stay in Blenheim. Well more time to cache. Collected this on our way back from Maori island. Cache all fine. Thanks
Just after getting the other country cache down the road me and Mr 12 popped across the water to get this one. Easily found, wiped off the dirt and insects, signed and returned. Off to pack down some football tournament equipment now.
Found with Dracophyllum. Bike by, quick find, would say cool, but the morning was more chill, TFTC.
Quick find this afternoon with eltee291 and crman1! Sure quiet in these parts today. Signed the log and replaced as found. Visiting from Victoria, BC, Canada. Thanks for the cache, GH6710!
Found on this absolutely gorgeous day with hingis20 and crman1. So great driving around this beautiful countryside. Vacationing in Blenheim from Victoria, BC, Canada. TFTC
It's a really warm day even with the stiff breeze. Found with eltee291 and Hingis20 tftc
After a nice walk this morning it was time to grab a few PNG's. This was a nice quick find. TFTC
On a cycle training loop down Dillon Point Rd and grabbed this cache when passing....all in good order, thanks
Jo and I hadn't done any caches for a couple of weeks, and just had half a dozen on the plan for today. And despite some pretty bad weather we got them. Thanks all COs for the caches.

After the CITO event at the Grovetown lagoon I had time to go and find a few more caches before I head back home to Nelson. Almost a park and grab. Short walk to GZ and a quick find there. TFTC, Biggles.
Out geocaching on the east side of SH1 between Pukaka Valley and Blenheim with Kiwimykl. He already has this one which could have made it easier for me, but I didn't need his help for a QEF.

Found on a great day's caching in Blenheim today, there sure are lots of caches in the area these days! Another quick find while taking in the sights.

Out and about in the area today turning some icons in to smilies. Hazedarus found this one while I was looking in another spot. Thank you GH6710.
With the GIFF 2015 event as an excuse a list of caches was compiled. Some unfinished business, some old and some new. It pays to consult the GPS so you at least follow the correct road to GZ. Once that was sorted the log was soon signed. Thank you GH6710
The whitebaiters were out in full force here today. I watched a very young duckling swimming in the channel all by itself - not a mother or sibling in sight or hearing - poor little thing but it didn't appear concerned so hope it was reunited soon. TFTC #7276
Nice to get away from the work crowd on a Friday arvo and log a few caches with a good mate.
Co-ordinates good, found in good order.

A quick park and graphics. There were some vehicles of whitebaiters down the road, we could only see 1 person, and they didn't seem interested. Cold breeze today. Found with 1cat lover nz.
This keeping a streak going lark is starting to get on my nerves, so once I've got my next Project-GC upgrade, I'm going to flag it. With that plan in place, I no longer have to conserve local caches, so this afternoon I decided to spend a couple of hours caching in the Grovetown/Spring Creek area, and this was the first cache of the afternoon.
I'm not that familiar with this part of Marlborough and probably took the round-about route to get here, but once I got to GZ it was a QEF PnG.

[green] On a little tour of left over caches. I am leaving Blenheim soon, and and have an irrational desire to cache out the area. And especially the two multis way out this way.
Oh yes... the water levels on the two side ARE different! I think. Cache was an easy find.

No surprise to find the ubiquitous grapevines growing out here too, but good to see some real food, sweet corn, in the paddock next door.
Hadn't been in this neck of the woods before, interesting to explore. TFTC.

#8995. The hump in the road made parking a little tricky. We were soon walking past said pumping station to get to GZ and made a quick find. TFTC.
Ahh what awesome caches I have seen on my travels this week , from fake logs, to mint tins stuck to posts, to nanos under benches to awesome tree climbing cache hides, his week has been an awesome time to check out the new caches and of course old!! It was great to see all the different places too, like nelson, and greytown, and Blenheim of course!! Then there was the small tiny areas, where we stopped to see earthquake museums, with of course the ''rural' caches as I like to call them. then of course there was the significance of stop offs; like the bulla swing bridge, where I went, saw and conquered there and back twice, while dad stooof o the comfort of the flat grass, smiling, waving and taking pictures Funny, but the best part about that bridge was when the people who worked there, started to come across when I was I was about half way going back ,so they had to get past, so they tilted the bridge sideways, onto its side, so then I could get past, it was pretty scary, but awesome too!! Then the bridge bounced and went side to side and swung it was really awesome! Then as they walked to the other side they were jumping and swinging from side to side, it was great fun!!:)
But anyway the caches I encoun tered on my trip were rreally good, each one was different in some way, including popmacs mint trail series in the north island, which was a really neat idea!!
Anyway, I would like to say thanks tov all the great cache owners who took their time to place all these caches Thank you and well yeah TFTCs all round

It's holiday time and I'm off to the South Island for a few days holiday with the great nightowl19. On the way down to the ferry we decided some caches were in order. There have been some handily placed on the route we're taking so a small diversion is in order to move my total slowly but surely to the magical 3000 figure. Have also pencilled in an Earth cache, puzzle and multi for later so diversity is the key
Back on the South Island and it's sooooooooo hot inside. Need to cool down, and grab a few evening caches whilst light fades. Looking to do the N C I S night cache and need the light to drop a bit so a couple of G H 6710 caches are just the thing

Found it, clue made it very easy so don't read if you want a bit of a challenge. Pencil lead broken but didn't have anything to sharpen with sorry (not to sell, keep pencil sharpener in car)!! Thank you, on a roll now
It's hard to imagine one small man-made pump making much headway with any reasonable sort of a flood but I guess every little helps. Mrs SoBad was onto this one so all I needed to do was line up with my pen. TFTC .
The name of the CO was unfamiliar although a check showed we had met at an event. Mrs SoBad was the passenger/navigator and did complain that the driver made the walk to GZ some metres longer than was needed. Showers were starting and it may have meant she got wet - which may have been appropriate at this cache. However, it was a quick find so she was hardly even damp.
Thanks.
Thanks.
A quick find with vampash on Christmas morning. Back to base for lunch and then possibly a nap.
Thanks GH6710 for the cache.

Found whilst out on a quick Christmas morning caching expedition with Kiwi Explorer! TFTC!
Our 2nd FTF! (They are hard to come by for us with two little kids). Sent Mr W on a dash to get this one mid arvo after stumbling upon a new listing. Pleased to have nabbed this one before the serious FTF hounds sniffed it out TFTC and Merry Christmas.
