###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I notice from one or more log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of some help - **there appears to be a need for owner intervention.**
Therefore, the cache is being temporarily disabling so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) I cannot see any log that indicates a recent visit by the CO to this cache.
If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by **28th September,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 28th September). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) the cache on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Cache not found in over 12 months, several calls for maintenance not responded to... may need to be archived

Lot of dnfs, gps points to fenced off area, however we searched a much wider area. CO may need to check this cache out
Didnt find, however there is a bunch of temporary fencing that could be in the way..?
No luck with finding this one, didn’t really expect much after the amount of DNF logs. Still worth a look though
Newcastle was the Norwegian Jewel’s first port-of-call since leaving Sydney the previous evening...
Loved the spot. I didn’t really expect a smilie, though, so I wasn’t too surprised to DNF.

Spent a while looking for this but didn't find it considering it hasn't been found for 6 months it probably needs checking.
Searched with chloelee21 and two other sets of eyes and hands still couldn't find it, needs checking please as it appears directions have been a little off previously. Cheers
Finally got it. Only a few fisher people today and not a lot of other, probably because of the weather. TFTC
A quick find today while cycling but we almost put it out of reach! Luckily we managed to retrieve it carefully. TFTC!
Having a cycle trip to Nobbys Head Lighthouse. I could see the cache but had to wait until the coast was clear.
Thanks for the cache, Badman family

Beautiful Sunday arvo cruise on the bikes to Nobby's. Not too many muggles today! TFTC
Have seen this cache before but been unable to get because of all the muggle fisher people. Went to check on it today and was unable to find in its previously seen location.
No luck today, it was a bit busy with fisherman though, maybe when I find it a bit quieter.
Finally found it, after looking from a different angle it was soon spotted -found at 8pm at night. Do these fishmen ever go home, they have been here every time i have come to find this cache. Thanks for the cache and for bringing me here a few times.
Really good cache. A bit hard for the kids to get to but still very good. Certainly a lot of people fishing.
Spent a good half hour here and no luck. All the fishermen thought we were crazy! Coordinates have the cache on the fence which I don't think is right somehow.
It wasn't to be , but I plan on trying again! I have a couple more days in Newcastle to give it a go. My GPS isn't working well so I wasn't sure I was in exactly the right place - this is where a hint would have helped. Also lots of fishermen around giving me funny looks as I poked around the place!
Found with very little muggle activity. Tricky extraction but managed to get. Lovely views on a beautiful summers day. TFTC. ☺
Quite a nice walk long here, as we came up to GZ, muggles kept appearing from nowhere!
We found the cache without a drama, getting it out of its hiding spot required a mini leatherman tool! TFTC....

Wanted to visit where the Down Under Rally's destination was. Found it and made this grab. TFTC!!

Parked near the Cruising Yacht Club & wandered over to get the best chips in town! Now to start our hunt & admire the yachts & harbour. There's always something to see! Got to GZ but took a long time for the GPSr to settle. We were zigzagging everywhere! Sig spotted the cache & did the signing duties. No muggles & no fishermen around. Sneaky little hide! Beautiful sunny day, perfect for a spot of geocaching. Managed to retrieve between the dozens of muggles passing by and got to sit and watch the boats for a bit before being able to replace. Nice hide, TFTC

Opa_Shrek and I took our geotour north today, and a lovely wander along the foreshore gave us some nice excercise and vitamin D with a view.... As I wandered toward what I thought was the obvious point at GZ, opa Shrek spun in a dial and in moments I heard, "it's here Kel". Oh. I was a ways off. Shoulda looked at the GPSr on this one after all . The log was a little sticky but all good, thanks for the find Badmans!
Headed up the M1 from the Central Coast with Mumma-Kel today for a change in scenery and to check out some of the local caches. It was nice to take some time out for a stroll along the waterfront, which has changed so much since I was last in these parts ... but we weren't really taking time out because what attracted us here was a string of caches.
As we wandered towards this one, we were amusing ourselves trying to predict where the hide would be ... luckily, though, I looked at my GPS at the right time and found it wasn't pointing to where we were heading. A quick change in tack followed, and the find was then quickly made ... extraction of a tight fitting log took a little longer though. Thanks for bringing us here and for the smiley Badman family.

Catching up on logging , Apologies for the delay in sending through the logs. An enjoyable find with no muggle issues in between the showers of rain. TFTC Badman family. [1830]
Sneaky hide. Beautiful spot. Joined forces with a couple of other cachers for this one.
Cache maintenance today. Replaced Cache, new log and all is ready to go.
Happy Caching...

Stopped at this one on the way back from dinner, but called off the search when a muggle wandered over to see what was going on. We weren't having much luck locating the critter anyway.

Find No: 4626. Found on International Geocaching Day, cold morning but still lots of muggles, sneaky little hide, thanks for the cache Badman family!!
The title says it all! And loved the location of the cache. Had an easy time as far as muggles were concerned - there weren't any. Must have been lucky - early afternoon week day. TFTC
Found on a sunny summers' day but it was cold and windy at GZ. Mrs C spotted this quite quickly as the camo paint has worn off and it stands out a bit from its surroundings. No trouble opening. SL Thanks Badmans
We parked and walked through to the old railway tracks, now gone, along the wharf. At GZ we could see nothing so had a look in other likely areas, but returned to find a very well hidden container. It was not easy to retrieve, but it did open easily, not sure why others have had problems. Thanks for a great hide in a top location.
Found during my first roadtrip to the Gold Coast and Brisbane. The original intention was to go run the Gold Coast marathon, but that was soon changed en-route - it became a 2-week 5000km geocaching roadtrip !
Now heading back south homewardbound I spent the morning walking around Newcastle.
On such a glorious day this was indeed a million dollar view of the waterways.
Thanks for the cache, Badman family, and for providing an extra incentive to stop here.

Found it but couldn't open it to sign. Took a photo instead. Beautiful day. TFTC
Temporarily disabling this little guy till all the work is completed in the adjacent yard.
Went to hunt for this cache today but unfortunately this section of the pathway is fenced off. Noticed earthmoving equipment so perhaps this cache should be disabled until the work has been completed.
Unable to access cache as a section of the pathway has been fenced off as well as the car park. May have to disable until work completed. Tks
We were in the area today and had some time to fill in before catching up with the family. This being the only cache in the area left to find we decided to grab it, we parked in the main car park a had a nice walk along the footpath up to the cache, it was a lovely day for it. Lots of people were out fishing near GZ.
Nice quick find, we signed the log & replaced. TFTC
