The spot where the cache should be is obvious but no cache is there.

Had a quick search on way home from work. No luck. I have a good idea where it should be. Too many muggles around. Damn muggles.
Was only right on International Geocaching Day to find at least one. As I was passing this way in the car, and with two trusty Geokids alongside, we quickly had this in hand and signed the log.

Quick find. The coordinates were a little out for me, kept telling me to go in the water. I had many muggles to dodge and two friendly ducks to help me with this one.
Replaced log, old one was unreadable. Cleaned the seals on the cache and double bagged the log. Happy caching
Cache in really bad condition totally saturated. Took photo as unable to sign log.Tftc theres a bug tag in there but no bug. Took a #
The sun did shine today! beautiful day to geocache around these parts. Cache found quickly. Log a bit damp. Thanks channon family.
Found on a day where the sun did not shine and it was wet! It was a good cache to find in what is a lovely location. TFTC, channon family. We left a TB which wants to be near the ocean.
Very wet in there might need new log book. Thanks for bringing us here lovely walk
Thank you beautiful location and fun cache. Bit water logged. Log book and matches soaked.
Being the 15th geocaching anniversary I thought I’d better go out this morning in the rain and clear up a couple of local caches I’ve been looking at for a while parked at the near by area and waited for the walkers to go by in the rain then made the find thanks for the cache in a great spot channon family
Found! Ha ha. Great little hide, love these types of caches every now and then. Enjoyed the serenity.

Grabbed thjs on the way home from a days work in Woy Woy. The nearby resident muggles may be aware of the hide, just not sure, and doubt theyre a problem.

It got to about 9pm when I realised I hadn't really had a productive day. I decided I would do what I could with the time left and head down to the peninsula to grab a handful of caches that might be a bit easier to grab at night. This one was nearby so it made the list also. It also proved to be the only cache I got for the night after a couple of DNF's or more appropriately CNFITWLSAT (Could Not Find In Time Without Looking Suss At Night!).
I pulled up a couple of streets south of the GZ and walked onto the bike track to head to make the find. As soon as I got to the bike track I noticed torch light headed in my direction. Thankfully the rising moon was quite spectacular so I pretended to take some photos of it with my phone until the couple walked past me. When they were clear of me I made my way towards the GZ. Looking back I then spotted the couple also taking photos of the moon from the same vantage spot I had used as cover.
I arrived at the GZ to find a dinner party going on at one of the nearby houses backyards. Thankfully it appeared all the people had gone inside and the coast was clear to make an attempt at the cache. I could imagine this would be much easier during daylight hours but at night it did take me a couple of minutes before I looked at the hint and worked out where it was.
The attendees of the dinner party made their way back to their chairs outside just as I placed my hand on the cache so I had to quickly grab it and sit on the wall once again pretending to enjoy the serenity. I slowly opened up the cache and blindly felt around looking for the log. I then pulled it out the find that even though it has been double bagged it was still wet and grimy. I quickly signed my name (whether it is legible or not is another thing) and placed it back into the bag.
The couple I had passed before were walking back along the bike track around the time that I had finished signing the log. I decided to wait for them to walk past and be in between myself and the backyard dinner party before I placed the cache back, thus hopefully drawing any attention away from me (not that anyone could really see what I was doing anyway). This worked like a charm and I quickly put the cache back in place and was on my way without anyone noticing what had happened.
TFTC cheers

First one for the day. After hopping off the train I made my way to gz on foot. Got there and went the steps are under the water. I always read a hint before finding.
I then had a head scratch and while doing that I spotted the hide. Phewwww I didnt have to go for a swim. Contents of the cache are wet, but somehow the log was still dry. I was careful closing the bags. A beautiful area TFTC

Found on a family BBQ day for Australia Day and a 15th Birthday. Good cache and took muggle relatives with us, possible converts to the cause - yaa! SL TFTC.
Found on a beautiful sunny morning while the rest of the gang were shopping for school shoes in Deepwater Plaza. There was a flotilla of boats on the water enjoying it all. It looks like this one may have been underwater recently because there was a bit of seaweed covering it! There have been some pretty high tides of late so it doesn't surprise me.
Thanks channon family and cheers from Browngang

After hunting wabbits worked up more of a sweat than we expected Opa-bob, Remmus and I headed down here for exactly what we needed - a quick find by the cool of the waterside.
As we arrived at GZ so did muggle. - Who promptly sat on the grass near GZ to eat his lunch. We took our shoes off and cooled our feet in the.high tide waters (to my knees on the bottom step) and subtly "enjoyed" the spoils of the area, soon locating the hide and fetching it.
But what may not see the sun certainly saw some of the king tide earlier this week as the contents was wet and soaked thru. while Opa-bob fetched the geobags from the car, Remmus and I emptied the cache and used my shirt.for.drying purposes. Remmus chose a small snake to keep and I liked the look of a keyring in there so we replaced what was left (and not sodden) and added and few items of our own - the log book was unsalvagable so we did what we could to.dry.it out adding a new bag, log, muggle card and some silica to do what we could to keep this alive and dry but the CO might what.to look for a more watertight container in this location.
As we left I commented to Opa-bob that for me this type of cache is just my thing, as enjoyable as any huge adventure deep in the bush - a simple cache, in a nice waterside location, where spending 10min is more than enjoyable and brings a suitable smile to my face. So thanks Cannons

After spending way longer than we expected hunting wabbits up the hill at Kariong on a hottish and humid day, this cache was a welcome relief. As there was a muggle very close by eating his lunch when we arrived, we just sat on the steps enjoying the breeze with our feet in the water ... aaah, the serenity!
Once the muggle headed back to work, we were able to get on with the search and a very wet cache was quickly in our hands. As Mumma-Kel has said, the cache was unfortunately a victim of the heavy rain and king tides earlier this week, with the result that the log book is now a sodden mess. We dried it off as well as we could and put it in a new bag with a silica gel in it, but I suspect it won't ever be usable again. We signed and put a replacement logsheet in another new bag (putting that inside the bag with the old logbook and silica gel), but I would suggest that it would be prudent of the CO to retrieve the old sodden log book sooner than later. Given that king tides are a reular occurrence here, it may even be worth rethinking where to locate it.
As I said earlier, this cache was just what we needed today so thanks very much, channon family, for bringing us here and for the pleasure it gave us.

Nice easy find. Such a pretty spot with a cool breeze. Much needed after a busy morning geocaching!
Found on our trip to Ettalong Beach for the weekend. Originally, we didn't download this one into our GPS, because it was published after we downloaded all the caches we originally intended to find. Luckily, we were able to download it at our hotel, meaning that we could easily find it today. A short walk to GZ, for a very quick find, overlooking a beautiful part of the area. TNLNSL. TFTC channon family!
So cute, and great trades too.

Found 7:02 pm. I had to get out and do a cache to keep the streak going. There are days when it becomes a little difficult so this one was a good one to go out and find. I hoped for a quick find and sat down on the steps looked around not spotting anything immediately. Also tried to be discreet as there were muggles about. I continued the searched and then found what I was looking for. I soon had the log signed and a couple of pics of the view unfortunately like the Fishes found the tide was right out so the nearby scene wasn't that pretty. Anyway thanks for the cache. TNLN.
I hope the cache survives in this location with homes overlooking the area.

Picked this one up on my way to complete some much needed cache maintenance.
thanks for the stop , the water looked very inviting today, and the cool breeze coming off the water was very much appreciated on such a hot day.

Luckily I'd just gotten home from the beach when the notification came through, so it was a quick grab of the caching gear and back out the door for a dash across the peninsula. I was just signing the log when bella_at_waggy walked up - good to meet another of the locals.
Thanks for a nice hide in a beautiful spot.

There is usually a good view from here, but not so nice today for us at low tide. Someone had already stepped onto the mud, lucky they didn't lose their shoes. We sat down and found we could retrieve the cache without turning around, so even if there had been anyone nearby they would not have noticed anything. Thanks to the channon family for a good hide by the water.
