Logs
Xmas at Susan's revealed that the lovely little fig tree which was home to the cache has been removed (being apparently too close to the new drain for the railway). Luckily Susan was able to retrieve the snail shell container from the tree loppers and I will revive the cache in another location in due time. There is no interest in visiting this park now that the tree is gone. What a shame!
Couldn't find it been here twice now can cache owner swing by and see if it is there or point me in the right direction not sure what where doing wrong
I noticed that there were a couple of construction vehicles parked on the roadway but I could not see any workmen so I parked up and hopped out of the car to be met by the resident winged fighter who let me know that it was there by a swoop at my head. I decided that I would get my hiking pole out of the car and thought that would be enough defence but I was sorely mistaken. In hind sight I would have needed a steel helmet.
As I headed to the search area I was continuously swooped and I tried to shield myself by walking around the tree but that did not work as the frantic waving of the pole was completely ineffective.
I managed to locate the cache and retreated to a spot of safety against the high construction fence while I caught my breath and signed the log. At this time a construction worker approached and I explained my predicament and also what I was doing in that location.
I had no option except to replace the cache in plain sight of the muggle and then hot footed it back to the car while madly swinging the pole over my head.
I looked in the rear vision mirror and I had blood running down the side of my face from two gashes on my temple.
The things that we do to get a smilie. I don't know whether to say TFTC or not but it will be a memorable one for me.

Went out caching with Juvuc for the day. This one was our first find, great cache tfth!
Was a great first cache for the day! Nice and easy and really cool looking! I've never seen a cache like this before!
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 9:56am. We parked nearby and walked in and found the cache quickly. TFTC
Out with misssusan79 and couldn't resist the temptation to get this one. Good container in a small green area.
Drove past it the first time then spotted the entry on the second pass. Quick find and a nice container. TFTC
In the area and thought to grab this cache as well. A cute container that had become a home for ants. Not the first time I've seen ants swarming a snail and after waiting a minute i was able to sign this log, bite free. Haha. Tftc. Recovered and returned on a break from work.
TFTC had a day full of caching with superduperdale and tinkerbelleh for her birthday this was the last one we grabbed before heading home
Had to have a find for my birthday. This one is close to home. I had a friend Susan who used to live just around the corner...
Nice container. TFTC

With a few spare moments I had just enough time to race out and grab a cache for today. I've nearly completed my calendar There was a few muggle work men about but they soon disappeared down the line. It was a quick find for me today. After signing the log I replaced the cache as it had been found.
Thanks for the cache spiderwebbs4

Found @ 1120 hrs.
Found nice and quickly. Obviously the lady living next to park knows that cache is there, as she asked me if I found it.
The log sheet was saturated and unusable. I replaced log sheet and placed it in a zip lock bag.
I would suggest putting cute container inside a water resistant container.

Found at 0921. A quick find in a quiet little park although once the trains start running it won't be all that quiet. TFTC.
After finding all of the new nearby challenges and adding our names to the log book IolantheK and myself decided to continue caching in the region. [^]
We soon parked next to this very small park and headed to GZ.
A quick find here.
Thanks for the cache.

Out and about for a few hours with Brother Colin We had a bike ride around Tinchi Tamba this morning (with teamdfl) and are now meandering our way around collecting a few caches. After a few finds for him, I finally get to join in the hunt [^] A quick find of an interesting container. TFTC, spiderwebbs4.
We were just perusing our map and realised we missed logging this one! We had done some climbing at a cache close by so knew where we needed to go. I certainly feel for the residents of the nearby houses once the trains start running We quickly found the cute container and added our name to the log. The mozzies were just as fierce as we remembered here so we were glad we came prepared. Tftc spiderwebbs4
Day 51 of my Brisbane trip.
This is mostly a work day on my aged Mum's house. I do, however, have time for one cache, and this is it!!!
Cute container, easy find, the local mossies weren't THAT fierce - maybe they were busy watching the cricket? TFTC.

Gave up on finding this one after being almost entirely drained of our blood supply by the local mozzies
The mozzies nearly beat us away! But we persisted.
Out for a morning of caching with Peter. Tftc

Out for the day grabbing a few caches.
This was the first for the day.
What changes for this area with the rail put in.
Nice quick find and added our names to the log.
The mozzies were bad here so we scooted to the car for some Deet.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks spiderwebbs4 All good with this cache

Lots of mozzies easy find I recommend you bring insect repellant if you want to find this one. TFTC
*FTF* As soon as the alert rang out, I mobilised, and was at Gz within 3 minutes, ready to begin the new years hunt. Thanks to the handy hint, I had my hand on the container within seconds. Thanks for a great hunt and a cute container, we look forward to blasting past this spot in the train on the way to Redcliffe very soon
Sitting at home watching a movie and I hear a text come through... thinking it must be Dave who is driving to Sydney, I just up and check to see if he has gotten ANOTHER speeding ticket, but it was someone telling me a cache had been published close by.
I grab my kit and head off... Right up the butt of the slowest car EVER!! I swear, it took me one minute to get out the door and 10 minutes to get to the cache!!
By the time I arrived, Orange Crew had snatched victory out from under me! Oh well, well deserved!!
Isn't it funny how the mosquitos only come out once you have found the cache and removed the log? Record signing and returning of the cache and run for the car!! This won't be the first time I was attacked by the dreaded pests today!!
