It was gross here 3 animals dead piled up the stench was horrendous . Decided to move on TFTH

This one has been a blot on my map for too long. I was passing thru today, so stopped to make a fairly quick find - once I'd found a safe place to park, that wasn't outside the local houses!
Cheers, EPs.

The search included getting hurt in multiple ways- ouch! Then the realisation where the cache was - thanks! Had lots of fun!

Quick find, no log, singed the back of our business card and left it in the container

Beautiful afternoon to find but unfortunately the log was either taken or disintegrated.
Nice little hiding spot. Quick easy find. Unfortunately cache itself was empty with no log and only a rusted eclipse tin.
Thanks for the cache julesdireen.
Not just the road less cached, also the road less driven. I've never driven this road before!
Used the geosenses, and the cache was revealed.

Today we decided to head from Snug - Cygnet and surrounds to find a few more caches that we have not found and to make them a smilie. A great day out, not too cold, sun out allowed us to enjoy the great outdoors.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

My first cache find. On the way home. After caching all day.
I parked in the side road and started looking but the GPS had me on the same side of the road, in the paddock, through all the blackberries. After a while, it came to its senses and steered me to GZ properly.
Must have really confused the farmer driving past on the tractor!
Logged and returned quickly. Thanks for the cache!

Today we made our annual trip south to Birchs Bay to take a stroll around the Art Farm, followed by lunch and a spot of caching in Cygnet. Having previously found "The Road Less Cached (A)" but none of the others in the series, we figured we'd make the return journey via Nicholls Rivulet Rd and pick up the couple of remaining caches.
We stopped for this one about 100m down the road from the GZ, and walked back. It was a little difficult to look innocent with a constant stream of muggles driving past, but fortunately we had a good idea where the cache might be hiding, and very quickly had it in hand.
Thanks for giving us a fun little challenge on our way home!

Nice easy find on way from Cygnet to Hobart whilst on holidays from Brisbane.
After moving to Tasmania to live I have been enjoying finding a few local caches and hope to clear my local area and start hiding a few too. Thanks for hiding this one
Tassie Trip Day 69 - Today saw a better day as the drizzle had virtually gone by the time we started that was only a shower along the way to yesterdays endpoint and todays start point that was just near Gordon then on around the coast toward cygnet stopping short to take a B line back to Snug and end the day.
Well it was time to turn for the camp site so the road less cached was taken for the return toward our campsite and after arriving at GZ and a short search conducted the information was soon obtaine and the cache log signed.
Thanks julesdireen for bring us along this road.

Missed this one on the way in but we knew we could pick it up on the way back. Took us ages to work out which side to look and for awhile we thought it had gone as the corner where we were looking had some damage to the fence. Lady membsec decided to look a far and bingo, there it was.

Nice quick find once we found parking. Loving all the apple laden trees. Thanks for the cache.
Hi there julesdireen.
We found your cache **"The Road Less Cached (F)"** at 9:47:00 L today. (This makes our grand total 18745).
Today we headed down to Huonville and then back to camp via Cygnet, Kettering and Snug. - Ian's parents used to live in Snug, but we have never been able to recognise the house no matter how many times we drive past. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip & ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
Our cache count was 10 caches today, with 2 DNF's. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

We were heading to the Channel to look for five new GCA caches and thought we would stop to see if we could locate this cache as it had been found this year. The GPS was all over the place and once we had decided which side of the road we should be on, the cache was a quick find. This was the only one we stopped for in this series at as the others have too many dnf's on them. TFTC
What beautiful countryside! We were heading to visit cousins and the GPS took us along this road that also had some caches. Unfortunately some were muggled and others inaccessible, so it was not many we ended up doing. TFTC
Parked about 50m away and walked to gz. There is one obvious spot and sure enough it was there. TFTC
World's most hilariously awkward cache. Kinda looks like you're trying to hide a sneaky pee stop in the world's most awkward place while gentlemen on tractors slowly cruise up and down the stretch. There's not a lot of hiding or souls searching to be done while you wait for the tractors to clear! TFTC
Just noticed that was my 100th find! Thanks!

Today was day 58 of our trip out of Sydney to visit the southern states of Victoria and Tasmania and day 16 of the Tasmanian part.
This was a quick and easy find as there really was not anywhere else it could be. After the log had been signed the cache was replaced as found. Thank you for bringing us to this area and thank you for placing this cache for us and others to find.

Parked the geovan at Gordon, and went for a drive, as we do, exploring the area, and caching as we go. Hoping today we would hit our next milestone of 800!
#795 Last of the road less cached series, but we did them in the reverse. Let see how we go. This one we found, once we realised which side of the road we should be on. Watched by a beautiful kelpie. Thanks julesdireen.

After having driven past with no caches loaded on the GPSr and no phone signal, I got the coordinates from further along the road where there was signal and drove back.
I must admit to sighing a bit when I realised it was right near the houses - I hate being conspicuous.
We parked, and I ran across the road and came back with the cache, as dogs from both houses came out to bark at me.
While sitting in the car signing, I discovered a small huntsman spider running across me, and managed to stab myself in the leg with a pen in removing it.
Then back across the road (more dogs being loud), and off we went.
As we did, we noticed the resident of one of the houses standing on his front porch watching.
Thanks.

Only the second of the series that we found. To access this one I had to enter private property. I can no longer leap across small ditches in a single bound! I am sorry I have had to be so negative regarding this series, but I am pretty confident these would not pass a lot of geocaching occupational health and safety conditions. Damn shame. Only got two clues so the final cache will elude us also.
Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
Spending a few days at Gordon. This morning we decided to head around the coast and visit Cygnet.
What a beautiful coastline, so pretty. The rain stayed away to help us enjoy the day more.
The first of the series and we had more trouble with parking than finding the cachetoday.

Wooooooohoooo, another one with Claude...easy find, stealth is tricky, for sure
Omg. It was so easy this time, found in a few seconds. It helped that there were no observers, apart from a red dog,no wet weather and no long wet grass. And I had worked out where to look before our arrival, this time I was right. TFTC Jules.
Nice quick find once we were on the right side of the road!
We still have to collect C,D and E as our phones dropped out, so gives us something to do next time we are down here.

As I approached GZ, I could tell right away where I would be likely to find a cache. Found with blackpandaski. TFTC!
The Road Less Cached series was our main reason to come down this way today. After a couple of quick finds on the way down we were 'tuned up' and ready to go!
We encountered some more bikes here as they raced to the finish line. These were obviously the straggles as the 'sweeper car' was following close behind. Once clear, we popped across the road and found it in the only place we thought possible. Found a value for E (or F?), a little confused but the end result was good! TFTC

A bit more disappointed we couldn't find this one either, lots of traffic and open area makes it less comfortable for searching. I think I need a safety vest next time. Lol.
Today we came south in an attempt to find some of the many recently released caches. The "Road Less cached" series was high on our agenda. We had not travelled the road before and were looking forward to seeing another part of Tassie.
Our GPS units identified GZ as being right in the middle of the road. Given this very unlikely proposition, one of us took one side of the road whilst the other went on the other side. After a short search, the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. The only minor hiccup was that this cache (F in the series) had a value for E (we had already found a value for E from the previous cache). We took the value as being for F and that led to the discovery of the final cache in the series at our next stop. Thanks for the cache julesdireen.

Another days touring and the occasional cache in the Huon valley. GZ for us was on the opposite side of the road. Widening the search soon yielded results.
Thanks julesdireen
Thanks julesdireen
This was the last one we found today.
A very friendly (no barking) red kelpie dog come over from a house and was happy to have a pat.
The cache was a very easy find, quickly retrieved and returned to its hide, however, I wouldn’t know when would be a good time during the day to go for this one as it is impossible to know whether you are being watched from inside either or both of the houses that are so close to gz – maybe the owners are in the know? Thanks for the cache and the series – we hope to come and have another look for E some other time.

A quick and easy find to finish. Thanks again for all the caches that you have placed along this road.
