Heading to Hervey Bay for a few nights for my eldest daughters birthday. Day 1 found 2 caches, day 2 found 1 cache, day 3 found 29, day 4 found 56.
Few DNF's, and recovering from an MCL tear in my knee, there were a few I didn't even attempt, and some I shouldn't have attempted but did...and now sitting on the couch having a celebratory scotch, am certainly paying for it.
Nice little country town, with some nice caches! THis was well hidden but still a quick find and the cache is in good condition
Thanks for the cache **Brother Colin maintained by Sweet-Sour**

After a long weekend of caching as a group it was now time to depart and start grabbing a few of my own to fill in some blank areas of interest. Most of these were park and grabs or very short walk types. This was one of those, I have gotten a little fascination towards letterbox caches of late and I saw this one off in the distance. It was a little out of my way but hey it’s a letterbox. So a drive over to grab this one. It needed some love as the ants were building on it. A quick grab and log sign and with all completed it was a matter of replacing the cache as found, less ants and onto the next one. Thank you for placing it here.
I'm with Dad(aka Sweet&Sour) for a drive.

Today I'm rolling by with Fangsoki and 1MinnieMoo as we head a lot north and even farther west.
I was happy to just bother with the two priority geocaches hundreds of kilometres from home, but alas, there are plenty of geocaches along the way that make happy for stats and challenge qualification all around, so a few stops were had - fine by me.
Uttered in the car was word that letterbox hybrids should be targeted for a certain challenge. Rest assured, I did not complain here as I also am yet to qualify for said [Postmaster Challenge](https://coord.info/GC7N86T), despite my thinking I did qualify *and* finding it a few months back. This letterbox made it onto Minnie's pocket query (which mattered because she was navigating) so became our second find for the trip.
We detoured north of our selected route and despite certainly not needing a 4WD, the Pajero rolled along the dirt road, Fangsoki chucked a U-ey and we were parked alongside. It struck me how quiet it is out here - until a warbird flew overhead. The logbook was signed and everything replaced in good condition. Plus I took a few photos, because I can! Thanks for this letterbox hybrid, Brother Colin and sweet-sour

Fangsoki, Captain Terror and I were on our way north to camp for the night with a particular goal or two in mind at the final destination area, but with one or two other goals for me along the way.
One of those was a couple of letterbox caches to finish qualifying for Orange Crew’s Postmaster Challenge. And this cache would be the one to qualify me for that.
A slight detour from our journey was required, but we soon arrived at GZ, where a quick find was made. With log signed, and a couple of attributes also added to my count, we were soon back on track towards our destination.

Regardless of what some hardcore cachers think about drive-bys, I love them. Especially when those drive-bys are hundreds of kilometres from where you planned to be driving. So hundreds of kilometres might be an exaggeration but that has never stopped me from embellishing on how many beers I can drink, how much musical theatre I can tolerate, how much I love romantic movies that don't have a Jedi in them, or the amount of room left in my slacks after a romantic dinner.
We could see the cache as I did a U-turn on the dirt road and so again I (kindly) pushed my wife out to stamp the log. When I looked back I could see that the wind had played havoc with Mrs Woodyrothwell's do! Normally she is prepared with shoes, hair, food, sarcastic comments and everything else needed when she caches. Today she was caught a few brain cells short, and after subtracting me from the equation, I'm, not sure what her excuse was. tftc

This morning I managed to start caching during school bus time, which meant that lots of parents were up and about dropping kids to street corners and other arranged pick up locations. I was lucky that I only had to wait out one muggle here today, and that I made a quick find. Thank you for placing this larger cache for me to enjoy Brother Colin
Muggle Father and I were in the area grabbing a couple of caches while I had been visiting the parents in Gympie.
We stopped the car and we got out. My smartphone wanted me to stop on the road - but caching sense says where the cache should be. Dad noticed a rag on the ground and didn't know if that meant anything. Well **it** didn't - but a metre away from that is where I spotted the cache.
Dad was surprised when I brought the cache out from its hiding spot. I was surprised when a spider came rushing out at me - much to Father's delight.
With all present arachnids begoned, I set about signing the log and returning the cache to its home. That's a pretty good hiding spot indeed.
We had to travel 2km down the road to do a U-turn (bless the Corolla's low clearance).
A great little place to visit. TFTC Brother Colin

After my Curra appointment, I wanted to make the 3hr driving round trip worthwhile and focussed on finding a few caches in the area.
Rare to find a letterbox cache, so great to visit one. Quiet road , just enough room to pull off not far from gz. Covered with an old dirty rag, soon found the cache. The container was very dirty on the outside from the rain and termite debris surrounding its hide. Took back to the car to investigate the contents and sign the log. Took a My little pone, left a ww collector card.
Also left "Poparni's Yellow-TB" banana travel bug. I thought this was a good cache that people would seek out and the TB should move quickly.

No red carpet parties rubbing shoulders with A listers. No sipping champagne in a ski chalet in the French Alps. Not even a couple of sparklers and a get together with relations you can't stand. Such is the stunted social life of the Bromance on New Years Eve. So instead Swellerfungus, Crookedpete and Seffnjarah decided to pack up the Zoomin' Shroom and head up to Widgee for a day of caching and a night of camping in 5 hollow-star luxury.
Heading off early on New Year's Day to beat the holiday traffic, we were making a few stops to pick up some caches including this one. Another letterbox cache to add to the Bromance's collection as continued our push towards Gunalda. We drove through the twisting back streets to reach GZ and were quite surprised just how populated this area actually is once you get in off the highway.
No problems locating the cache, as we spotted it from the car before we had even pulled up. The logbook was signed and the cache replaced with a little more cover. TFTC

Day two of the New Years Widgee Bromance Extravaganza (NYWBE) and we scoot north from the Newbies Event in Widgee to grab a few outliers that twinkle our fancy. Nothing too onerous, and lots of fun. Always remembering that there may be some serious traffic on the way home for the end of holiday long weekends. And yet another one for me! This is more like Dickie Knee Caching! Thanks fro the letterbox.

Way out back of the subdivision,
I made it to the post office,

Well there is a cache here at least
And I suspect there is some sort of crop being grown further along this dead end road [:o]
Not something that should interest the cops though !!
There's a lot of sugar cane bits lying around the roadsides here !!
Mmmm !! Sweet

My phone told us there was a road direct to this cache from the highway but it ended up being someone's driveway. We eventually found a zig zag way to get here anyway.

Out with wombles and co at the 2017 cacheup with the newbies event for a weekend of fun camping and of course caching we joined up with some other cachers Sew Rainbow, Livin_in_oz and Echocage1. This one had us scratching our head as the "street" it wanted us to turn down was someones driveway so we went back to the Puma servo and went in that way once we got there it was a quick find and covered well TFTC
Oh goody, another letter box, the second on our weaving wanderings around the area. The locals seem to be a resourceful lot judging by the creative letterboxes some of them have, we have seen a few novel designs today. GZ was a fairly open area so luckily there wasn't much traffic around on the day we went. Signed the log and did swaps and then we bid adieu to Livid_in_Oz and Sew Rainbow.

Tuesday. Slow Puncture ventured out with Orange Crew very early this morning with a nearby thunderstorm for company. We had 3 specific caches in mind (one of which was a long way away).
Having nabbed the far away cache, we were now on our way back. This one required a substantial deviation from the Highway, and Orange Crew's in-car GPS tried to tell us to go down a road which is clearly not there. So, after a while and a number of lefts and rights, we got to GZ and OC soon had the cache in hand. I am sure the locals wondered why we were driving around there with a boat in tow!
This was the 8th of 9 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Brother Colin***, for showing us this place.

On a massive road trip with Slow Puncture to grab an unfound Earthcache on Monduran. On the return home we stopped regularly to sample some of the fine caches along the way. I always enjoy finding an LBH, so the detour off the highway was well worth it. The find was thankfully easy, so we signed and stamped the log before heading off.

Today is Mr FelixII's birthday and a plan was hatched to have lunch at the Theebine Hotel. But of course what's a birthday without a cache or 2.
A day of walking in wet grass and slippery tracks after the overnight rain, exploring a new area to us. Just what we love about Geocaching.

I drive to and from Bundaberg. A lot. My car GPS has caches on it, so as I drive I can see all the smilies I've previously found - and all those annoying little green boxes. Like this one - although close on my map I seemed to drive a long time to get to it. Quick find once there though. Lovely country.

Found together with HDanske on our holiday to Australia, where we were on a roadtrip starting from Brisbane to Port Douglas. This was one of the many places we went to.
On our merry way heading north, we decided to drive away from Bruce to find this Letterbox. Was not very easy to get there, when the GPS in the caravan wasn't able to read coordinates (or at least we didn't manage to find out how). We did manage to get to GZ without and found the cache shortly after.
TYFTC and greetings from Denmark.

I was in Gympie today to play tourist and I also had some items that were left in my car by Sweet-Sour and as this cache was not that far away, I could return the items and grab the cache.
I pulled the motor vehicle up at a nice shady spot and noticed that I was only 4m away. A real park and grab.

Great to get out for a days caching especially with our soon to be travelling companions The Drovers. We enjoyed the countryside and it was nice for us to know that it was an easy trip back to some of these wonderful locations especially around Eumundi and Noosa. Good cache. Thanks to Brother Colin.
An easy find for me while in the area today.
I've never ventured off the highway into here before so it was quite a surprise to see how nice it is.
I guess the residents around here enjoy the country life yet without being too far from town.

IolantheK was well-prepared as usual and navigated us quickly from cache to cache, while T-Tech was our perfect driver. TriciaC2 and I just enjoyed the airconditioning in the back, although I did a bit of secretarial work!

While at the Gunalda Cacheup for the Newbies event, T-Tech, Triciac2, Dutchie1950 and I (not being Newbies) were all ineligible for the FTF runs. And since T-Tech had to return to Brisbane tonight, and we all wanted to grab some caches, Brother Colin graciously allowed us to jot down all the details for his new caches and take a tour of the area, provided we did not claim any of the FTFs.
I like Letterbox Hybrid caches and was delighted to see 2 new ones here for the Event [^] We had just done the Brooyar one, so time to take the roundabout route to this one. The cache is well hidden here. TFTC, BC.
