No response from the CO in the last month to all the DNF logs and the NM log. Time to bring it to the attention of the Reviewer.
Having a well deserved rest on our road trip to the Mega OzGeoMuster event in Morisset, and this stop also adds a tick to our “Big Things Bucket List”. Although, we’d probably have to call it a small Stonehenge, but we were pleased for the photo opp nonetheless. We had a really good rummage around for the cache, He-Squirrel even resorting to the use of his “caching stick” (an old curtain rod he found in the bush whilst Geocaching! ), but no container was found...We’re worried this one may have gone missing again, possum bugs 43.
Had a good look around in the late afternoon while no one was around but had no luck
We are heading from Brisbane to Bright in Victoria, caching as we go, wherever it is safe to pull up with the caravan. We left Brisbane on 3rd Jan and dont have to be in Bright til the end of the month. Today's drive takes us from Deepwater to Guyra, via Emmaville.
Lunch break in order, and a cache to locate, once all the muggles moved on. Unable to locate today. Thanks possum bags

The co-ords today on our instrument wanted us along the back fence in the long grass. We took our chances and hunted a half a dozen or more posts and various areas but we couldn’t find the cache I’m sorry to say. We were hampered by visitors wanting to use the loo who would look down on us while we pretended to take photos of the view. In the end we decided to give up. Sorry about that. Happy New Year to you though. Maybe we’ll find it another trip.

I'm heading home to Canberra from Brisbane where I was visiting my Mum who has just had a hip replacement. She is 92, and going great guns, with walking much easier than when I last saw her. As a domestic slave, I am had an easy time - Mum didn't need much care which is great, so I did a little geocaching and walking with my GeoSchnauzers. I spent most of my time walking with Mum and ferrying her around. Had to give her needles for a couple of weeks too. Brought back memories of daily injections for my deceased wife, for her multiple sclerosis.
I got away as planned at about 2:00 pm, making for Stanthorpe for the night. I get here, and stopped for the cache, to stretch my legs, and to walk the dogs. I was on this road a lot forty years ago, there was nothing much here then as I remember. Interesting spot now. The cache was easy, thanks for bringing me here.
Yesterday, I tried to book my room in Stanthorpe. No luck, due to something called a Snowflake Festival. Never mind, try Warwick. No luck. Oh dear. Tenterfield. One room left, got it. Hmmm. Thought I would drive straight there just in case, and just as well I did. The poor bugger was at least quadruple booked. His internet was down, except apparently for his Booking.com connection, so he was trying to find rooms for people. He got me one in Glen Innes, which was out of range of the festival. Never mind, less distance to drive today, and more time for caching.
I had a good look around, no sign of a cache, and previous searchers had got rid of the fallen leaves.
First DNF today, of three.
Thanks, possum bugs 43

Wednesday. On the way to Sydney to visit our daughter. Thought a stop in at some random caches along the way would be in order.
The arrow zoomed in on an obvious tree and I looked in and around without success. No muggles today so I could spend some time rummaging around. I looked around some other trees as well, so perhaps I wasn’t wearing my geo glasses today.
This was the 0th of 1 DNFs we had today.
Thanks [Blue]possum bugs 43[/Blue], for showing us this place anyway, hopefully we will be back!

On our way back through after our family visit in Armidale. No one around the picnic area so we found this one quickly. TFTC- love the view here!
Removed trackable: Mario's Adventure to take back to Brisbane with us on his next adventure! Logging it now.

Have to get this one on the way back. Some people were having a picnic facing the GZ so we weren't able to retrieve it this time.

Caching plan for this week. Leave Nanango at about 3am and make my way to South of the Border. Found the one and only cache hide I needed in the Toowoomba area that was not a Multi and made my way to Warwick.
Found all the hides I was after from Nanango To Toowoomba then to Warwick then south to Stanthorpe then west of The Summit then to the south of Stanthorpe to the Border. Crossed over and took a mental note to add one hour to the car clock every time I looked at it. Found the ones in Tenterfield I wanted on the down leg then the ones south of Glen Innes I was after. Arrived here and it was a quick easy find. Glad you picked that location, as it is away from the main area. This one needs some TLC. Now to head back to Tenterfield and take the Mount Lindsay road back to Stanthorpe and to continue caching of course. TFTC possum_bugs43.

Another find with our granddaughter and great place to stop and stretch the legs. Thanks possum bugs 43 for the cache and for the hint. TSLS.
After spending several months house sitting around the Central Coast, Sydney and Bateman's Bay it is time to head back to Queensland.
Day 2 of my drive northwards.
Time for another quick stop over to stretch the legs.
A quick find here for me today.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks Possum bugs for this wayside stop cache. Caches at such break stops are always welcome and a good chance to stretch the legs after a driving session down the New England. They add to road safety and keep our highways safe by offering us GC brethren another reason to stop. I was surprised that there were so few caches in and around Glen Innes. Cache in excellent condition.
3.55pm. A quick stop here and discovered a cache. Nice easy one.
Thank you. David and Noeline.

Remember camping here when we passed through a few years ago and freezing. Made sure we didn't stay here tonight for that reason.
Second visitor to this cache today. Thanks.

Hard to not looksuspicious as a couple of workmen were digging very close by probably wondering why I was so interested in GZ which was no where near monument!. Staying at Ben Lomond -Silent Grove for a couple of days -enjoyed an early morning snowfall that blanketed everything in white. Has now all melted and a nice sunny day. TFTC
Driving back from Stanthorpe to Newcastle today and couldn't help but grab a few random caches along the way. Six degrees, foul wind and driving rain not helping the experience! made a quick find and forced the geowife to stand in the rain for a tourist photo TNLN TFTC
Our journey south continues, and our tally of smileys is spreading across the map. Thanks to all the CO's for some interesting caches. cache was uncovered so re hid it
Went to find this one as we passed by yesterday and realised we had already found it in June must not have logged the find. The workmen were there sawing up the logs the day we were there. TFTC
Starting to get late in the afternoon so a quick sign and we were on our way

I was again travelling down the New England Highway and decided to grab some caches that I had missed previously. This spot is very popular and timing is required to be successful.
Today, there was a gap between travellers so I was able to grab this cache during this time.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache was replaced exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.
Find #485.

Now Mr Esky once again is driving south for work,
And Mrs Esky has a list she hands me with a smirk.
"It's just a few, see how you go - it shouldn't take too long",
And so the plans are set in place, this surely can't go wrong.
The first one on my list is fine, a lovely place to stop,
Before my meeting starts I eat some chicken from the shop.
Now that job's done, the coast is clear, I quickly mount a search,
Before too long I sign the log, then climb back on my perch.
With one secured, I thought my day was going rather well,
Until I neared the second goal, and then my halo fell.
With stop-go men and council trucks, parked where I want to play,
I figured this was out of bounds, and carried on my way.

Rain was pouring out of the sky, but I found a bit dryer moment to find this one. Thanks for hiding!
On our way from Maryborough QLD to Bindoon WA towing our home-on-wheels, this was an easy park and grab with nobody else there to spy on us. What a fantastic view from here. TFTC
A nice easy find after work with no fuss while heading south.
A good view from the rest area across the plain.
Lots of RV's in the rest area, but none were too concerned with my caching activities. Polariod in the cache is a pretty cool idea.
Thanks for the cache!

Day 1, Brisbane to Tamworth.
Our seventh cache on this trip.
A nice quick find despite nearby caravanning muggles!
The log is full, added a temporary page from our notebook..
Left our marks under the watchful eye of a rather large skink. LOL ...

While spending 16 months abroad, travelling through all states of Australia and also having a two months break in Thailand I did a lot of geocaching.
After many, many caches accompanied by the strong will not to write any standard logs, I ended up with more than 700 finds, all waiting for an official log. After intense considerations and carefully weighing my options, you now receive this special limited edition numbered log.
This is my unique non-standard log #129.
A little bit of England in Australia =)
Thanks a lot possum bugs 43 for taking care of this cache, showing me this place and turning my travels into an adventure!
