Out and about on a month long trek around the south west with Raymac972 picking up a few caches while we site see and relaxThankyou to thediamondmouse for placing Pay Your Respects for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 11:25This is find number 641 for meTFTC
I was at the locked gate at first as I didn't read the description and didn't realise it was at the cemetery. TFTC
Wanted to find a traditional cache on the way out of town. This cache suited very nicely. After just visiting the super windy and super cold, super pit, the walk to the cache was much milder, and the cache soon found. Thanks for the cache.
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT then over the top of WA and down to Perth.Interesting detours to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Hells Gate, Nhulunbuy, Wadeye, Litchfield National Park, Wyndham, the Gibb River Road, Monkey Mia, Meekatharra, Wiluna, Laverton & Warburton.TFTC. A nice short wonder at the cemetery.
Here on business and got that out of the way fairly early. Quick find but my work shoes were not liking the dust. Tftc
Thank you for allowing us to pay respects to the many people here. Was an educational experience for my daughter to see all the graves.
In town visiting Mr dimors sister in law but also grabbing a few caches here and there. Hoping to take a short cut to the cache as it was quite warm but gate was locked. We took a nice casual walk to GZ, found cache easily and did signing duties. Then I got online ato see if my distant relatives are in this cemetery, they are so then it was to find them. We walked around and around and wouldnt you know it they all are buried down near the entrance end .TFTC and bringing us here. I like it when my favourite hobby (my genealogy) and caching can be combined so this is worthy of a fav point
While in Kalgoorlie for a second time and maybe the last for work, I decided to hunt for a few more after an early finish. Glad to make the find here. TFTC guys
TFTC. We walked around after the find, looking at the old graves, paying our respects.
Full time Nomads since March 2014, in WA to visit family.
Having been in Perth to visit family our stay has come to an end and we are on our way to Broken Hill for the Mundi Mundi Bash, with a slight detour to Kalgoorlie to attempt a few caches. A sleep in and chores kind of day, we didn't head out to find any caches till 2pm. then we decided to tackle a few that are unlikely to be achievable if it does indeed rain tomorrow as forecast.

Bingo bango how great to honour those long gone - had a sobering wander amongst the sorrowful and sorrowing graves. Out and about on trusty treadles AKA the MTB to do a circuit. WOW trash factor is high - a massive CITO might help. Anyway - glad to be in the Kal that the imagination has conjured - plenty to see and plenty to explore. Heading east soon back to home base that is some 3000 kms away! TFTC and the lure to visit.
Found during three weeks away with e.gregory1 on a trip along WA's Great Central Road and a caching circuit of the WA Goldfields. We travelled North on the Stuart Highway and out to Kings Canyon to Uluru and Kata Tjuta. From there we headed in a south-westerly direction along the Great Central Road with a number of detours along the way, including Surveyor Generals Corner and Empress Spring. Then it was down to Laverton and Leonora before turning South to Menzies and Kalgoorlie. A few days were spent on a circuit back up to Lake Carey and around to Queen Victoria Spring before returning to Kalgoorlie, then out to Coolgardie, Kambalda and Norseman, and heading for home along the Eyre Highway. The WA Goldfields is a fascinating region of incredible scenery and history that we experienced over a number of days while touring the area. After spending a few hours out at Bulong this morning, we returned to Kalgoorlie for the rest of the day finding caches to just on sunset before heading back out to find a campsite for the night. Thanks for the cache thediamondmouse!
Found on another enjoyable trip with FeatherWaite over 3-weeks through South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia. This time the plan was to head up to Kings Canyon, across to the WA border via Uluru and Kata-Tjuta, then down the Great Central Road, with a few side-trips along the way before eventually getting to the Goldfields and then home via Queen Victoria Springs and the Eyre Highway.
We had some mixed weather to start, with a few overnight showers initially, but mostly warm and sunny days. Some of the nights were often cold though!
The cache was a quick find and is in good order.
Thanks thediamondmouse for the cache.

Day 2 in Kalgoorlie Headed out from the campsite after breakfast to pick up a few more caches - including this one. I do like a cemetery cache so I did indeed wander around and pay my respects. I thought 502 would be 'Stumpy' but sad to see no marker for that individual resting there. I hope someone uses my grave as a waypoint in the future Cache was quickly located - no problems here today. TFTC
Tftc. I have not been caching for a number of years. But after relocation to Kalgoorlie I have decided to pick up it again. During my down time from work.
An early start to the day so I could get some more on my map before heading back east.
A quick wander, find, sign, replace and it was off to the next cache.

I finished the Anzac Biscuit series nearby and then headed for this cache. I love caches in cemeteries. This one was found quickly and then I had a wander among the graves waiting for Muggle Husband to come and pick me up.
On our little roadtrip to Kalgoorlie and ghost towns. So many ants guarding the cache, tftc!
TFTC Diamond mouse, found on a quiet Sunday Morning while visiting. Log & cache in good condition! Signed log & returned.
