### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process. It certainly needs to be checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating, or the posted coordinates.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute that is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by Cached and to take it off the playing board to prevent further inconvenience to our Geocaching Community.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been taken by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will conclude that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition and waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayang -GeoffCommunity Reviewer

Sorry Cached, after a thorough search I did not come up with the goods today for GRIFFIN BRIDGE. It may be worth a sanity check to see that it is still here, I have been known to be cache blind at times.

When the Muggle mate and i pulled up here to find this one we both noticed the debris on the bridge and remembered the October 2022 floods.
The water had reached this lofty height of the bridge.
WOW! that is a LOT of floodwater!!

The cache was found immediately and it's dry log was signed at 09:53 on Wednesday 28 December 2022.

Well we are wending our way home after a three day sabatical at scamander with family. weather has been kind, even on top of South Sister where the views are fantastic and the bonus is a couple of caches. So now we are taking the scenic route back to the north west via Mathinna, Blessington and Deddington on a bit of a geo trail. This is the first, which took a bit longer than it should 'cos the co-ords say on the other side of the road. Got there in the end.

25-Oct-19
Drove from Swansea early in the morning with the main aim of getting the caches around Mathinna including both waterfalls. Enjoyed the day and some of the great caches in the area.

Again another cache that we should have found easily, but it took a second look to spot it.

Drove through this area on a weekend cache trip a couple of months ago to the coast and missed logging a few caches so doing a bit of a catchup.
The big challenge is remembering how each one looked so I'm afraid it's just a TFTC on this one.

In the area today as Team R and A were staying in the area for the school holidays. Having parked in a safe spot I headed off to then discover I should need on the other side. I narrowed down a likely GZ and had the CIH very quickly. Log was damp so I managed to find a scrap of paper to sign and leave. TFTC robtas.

Tassie Trip Day 170 - From our new location of fingal we decided to go for a little drive around the area and made our was into the hills.

Arrived at the bridge and it was a quick search in the wrong area then all of a sudden the other member said Got it. so signed the log and returned it to that location of hiding.

Thanks robtas for placing this for us to find.

28-Dec-18
In Tassie with family doing a short trip around this lovely island. We saw some amazing scenery, wildlife and visited some beautiful places while touring around in our motorhome. I took the opportunity to stop and grab any caches when we could stop. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the trip. We had some fun and laughs along the way.

Some great views to be had while stopping to find this one. It was a quick find once at GZ using the hint.

Thanks robtas for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

Found the cache but looked like it was in the Wong spot... Looked like a piece of rubbish barely sticking out of the dirt

29-Oct-16
A pre-dawn start from Hobart saw us searching for this cache 'before breakfast'!
We searched way too long in all the wrong places, mostly perhaps for the wrong kind of container!
Persistence and applying basics and the cache was soon in AlbyDangles' safe hands.
THANKS for the hide and the adventure.

Today we travelled to Mathinna finding caches that had been published since our last visit and this was one of them. An easy find.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

19-Feb-16
I think that maybe the floods earlier this month may have washed the cache away. I hope it is still there however.

13-Feb-16
Quick and easy. Stunningly beautiful Tassie day. Tftc found with Clande N Mands.

13-Feb-16
Woohoo, easy find out with Trudy+3 ..TFTC..Co-ords spot on...

26-Jan-16
It is still there! Co-ordinates appear to be spot on, as it was right where the GPSr had it. It would have been difficult to find, as it had become buried (against the rules, but looks as though it was buried by sediment washed from above). Cache is in really good condition. Re-hid this one without burying. Plenty of muggles on the other side of the river, but I seemed to be pretty much ignored as I was largely out of sight of them.

17-Nov-15
With geovan parked up at Griffin, we went for a drive to see what we could find in the area. Many of the caches we hunted had not been found for months, but we still had high hopes. Unfornately, a list of DNFs were descended upon us... Never mind...

We searched the bridge, found the pile of rocks as previously mentioned - but to no avail did not find the cache. Ever mindful of the muggles on the opposite side of the river, moved on...

18-Jul-15
Searched obvious area but cache could be gone, found some rocks right where gps said cache would be but no cache

25-Feb-15
Spent the afternoon travelling from Bisheno to west of St Marys and collected a couple of smilies along the way.

This was an epic hunt. We went to where our GPS indicated that GZ should be located and found nothing. We then widened our search area but without success. The initial hint was not useful as there are two pump stations on opposite banks of the river on opposite ends of the bridge! The updated hint would not have helped either. Finally we went back to basics and looked carefully at the cache title. We must have searched nearly every centimetre before we located the cache. At that point our GPS indicated that we were 103m from the location of the published coordinates!! There being no other entry in the logbook, we will claim a very hard earned FTF at 11:20. After replacing the cache, we took eight sets of coordinates with two different GPS units. The average was S41 27.875 E147 53.429. Future seekers of this cache may find these useful and update them if found wanting. Thanks for the cache Robtas. The new bridge is certainly a vast improvement over both the old and temporary structures.

11-Jan-15
Yikes, something has disrupted our caching mojo! Either that or the satellites are seriously out of alignment today. This was where the Tardis had a major meltdown & could only claim their second DNF in a row. Not only that but a second FTDNF! Both our GPSr's placed us at a certain tree that we examined with that special tool of caching equipment known as the fine tooth comb. We then proceeded to comb trees to the left & right with equal lack of success. The fact that a rare FTF lay tantalisingly close prompted ever more thorough scrutiny & in fact a revisit to GZ for one more look on returning from Evercreech. Various other classic cache hiding spots w-a-y beyond our GZ were prodded "just in case". Instead of a whoo hoo all we can claim here is a boo hoo!
