Found at 4:35pm safely tucked away in pristine condition. Thanks Robmac, we're heading for Wangaratta, Harrowang, a Beaver birthday and maybe a few caches!
A lot of cleaning up has been done around this area, and the cache was gone.It is now replaced and ready to be found.
We travelled further and further north. We, *Filser1* and I, couldn't stop at all the caches, but this one was searched for and found.T4TC
For TEMBO! and me, the text "Travelling North - The Railway" was like a magnet. We managed a stop and signed the guestbook. Thanks to Robmc for hiding and maintaining the cache.T4TC Filser1
Travelling back from Melbourne and stopped here. Decided to open my catching app and viola a cache. TFTC
Might go geocaching i thought...And here i am hours later with many cans and bottles and one geocache! It's not always about the destination..Its sometimes about the journey. TFTC
TFTC just passing by on the highway and saw this bloke walking with phone in hand it takes a cacher to know the signs and what more can I say,
Chook headed up to Wangaratta joining forces with The Tritonz, to find a few solved puzzles and tackle the HSS Basketball Geoart before it gets archived soon. This was our meeting point and Chook arrived a few minutes early - just enough time to find this cache - before we continued up the highway. TFTC Robmc. All good at GZ.
A whole four day trip with Aquilus1 to do the GeoTour in Ballarat some caching around Geelong and anything else that looked good on the way.
Weather was ok albeit a bit on the wet side for the first two days. Now on day 3 the weather is bice and sunny and we are pressing on with the last few Geotour caches on the way out and driving towards Queenscliff.
On our way back tom Canberra now.
This cache was one of the ones we had the oportunity to do.
A nice cache here!
Thank you Robmc for the nice cache and experience you gave us!

Having travelled this road many times, most trips a train does pass. Easy to spot if there's one with the line so close but always great to see a train pass by.
This cache was one found on a trip away with Flintstone's for 4 days. We had the Geotour in Ballarat as our target, and made our way as far as Queenscliff.
Ballarat caching was a joy, and with the tour, we saw many lovely and interesting locations as well as stopping for many other caches as we passed. Lots of little walks helped with the colder first few days as well as being quite scenic.
A change of weather and scenery towards Queenscliff but the coast was a great place to visit with plenty to do and see. As always, more to do than there was time for, will just have to return one day! Thank you for your cache!

Wrestling with the question of how many caches to get while still ticking off the kilometres to Sydney, this one seems fairly well spaced thank you. Those train lines look awfully nice
Visiting from the Great White North
On our way to Canberra had had to stop to check something in the back so I split from my group as I saw a cache nearby. Log is good and traded some swag.
Hope the next person enjoyed the old Canadian nickel I left with the log book.
TFTC as always

Thanks. Lovely day out at Violet town markets and a little adventure on the way home.
Another stop along the way tonight in a very interesting spot to find a cache. After I relieved my bladder, I went to go seek out the cache. I’m sure the other people stopped behind me at the rest stop must have thought me crazy for wandering out away from the road late at night in the rain.
The cache was quickly located and the logbook signed and replaced as found. Thanks for giving me another excuse to stop and for the interesting rail history as well.
Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the logbook nice and dry.

Thanks to our headlights for helping with this one as we approached just after dusk- we had to get ‘just one more’ on our trip from Gembrook to Rutherglen.
Unfortunately Boot got more than he bargained for with a bull ant hitching a ride in his t-shirt!

Found it! We’re off on an adventure! We picked up Cybergran V at Seymour and set off to Harrietville for pancakes at 1700 in Saturday morning. We made a quick stop to find the cache. I picked up some rubbish too! TFTC SL The ache is in great condition!
On my way to Rutherglen and stopped for phone call as phone reception dodgy to hear. Finished chatting to see if there was a geocache at this pullover - yep, about 7m away. Tftc Robmc

After driving down to Victoria to attend the Whittlesea mega event, I headed home making a few cache stops along the way. This was the last one for the day, as between here and Goulburn it absolutely bucketed down! Another nice quick stop here, with the cache in good condition.

Dropped geodog at the vets for his 8 week xrays after his leg surgery and headed Benalla to find some caches. The log book was not in the cache which was weird but all dry and in good order. Log book placed in cache. Tftc. Trackabke taken and extra swag added.
Stopped here for a driver change I noticed there was a cache nearby.

Our first ever cache! We thought this might be a bit of fun but it was actually a lot of fun.
Close to home today, however we’re travelling to Melbourne tomorrow so I’m anticipating lots of stops on the way.

Returning home to Sydney, I’ve set aside a few caches along the way to help break up to drive, but will only get to do a few before it gets dark!
A quick stop again, but the GPS had other ideas and I had a few circles first until I finally tracked it down.

Find #2661 for me. Found at 7:09 am while on my way to the Wangaratta Mega Event from Bendigo. This was also my first find for 2022. This was a nice quick find to break up a rather lengthy drive. Thanks for the fun and the cache Robmc!
On our way to the Wangaratta Mega, hevwalker and I had a quick find whilst having a stretch. TFTC

Making my way up to Wangaratta for the Mega which we have finally been able to hold and Yah we can all attend as well.
Picking up a few of the rest stop caches on my way North that I have not done yet or have been put out since I was last up this way.
Robmc you must have a lot of spare time on your hands to be able to stop at every rest stop and place at least a cache at each one.
This was the fifth cache for the trip and I have driven to Sydney, flown to Sydney but never caught the train but as a kid I had always wanted to catch the Southern Aurora to Sydney and I remember on some of our trips away being at a railway station just to watch it arrive and depart.
Now the XPT runs and it does not have the same ring to it in my mind.
Thanks Robmc TFTC.

Thanks for the fun

This was find #5 on our trip to Wangaratta. The geokids liked this one as they got to see the railway in action twice - 1 each way.
Thanks for the fun

No snake but I bashed the ground with a stick like a madwoman! I was determined to locate the GC... and I did! TFTC - you got my heart pumping!
Travelling back home to NSW, I started feeling my eyelids getting heavy so pulled over to re-energize myself and find a cache.
I heeded the warnings about the snake and made myself well known... I avoided any snake encounters, but ended up being bitten by an ant so... You win some, you lose some!
TFTC!

I was headed up the Motorway from Violet Town to Benalla today
Gotta be the quietest I've ever seen this road !! [:o]
And at the rest area by rail,
I had the place to meself !! [:o]
The lack of muggles will probably be a memory after Friday,
when they let the city slickers loose again
A fun little scramble was had,
with no snakes for company [^]

A bit too much excitement here, stood on large brown snake, screamed, flew through the air as he attempted to strike. Did find cache nearby. TFTC

On our way to Bright for the Easter holidays, a quick grab and the only cache on the way up. We just needed to stretch the legs after sitting in traffic for a few extra hours. Thanks for the cache Robmc.

Finalf29 and I decided on a slow trip home after a mad dash to drop off eldest son in Melbourne. Loved these rest stop caches to break up the journey.
Thanks for the history and the cache.
Thanks for the history and the cache.
Grub62 and I were travelling north to see about getting the last few caches to complete the local government area cache now we can travel. A short stop to stretch our legs and a cache as well. It was in good order and well away from prying eyes. NTNL and TFTC.
Bunadoorian and I had a very early start this morning as we were people on a mission - one cache to finalise two Challenge caches. En route this morning we stopped here to stretch our legs. Cache was found by Bunadoorian and it was in good condition. TFTC Robmc
