I am getting mixed up with the school caches I did today - 8 of them. I just know I liked this one as I drew a big smiley face on my notes. TFTC.
Out and about again, had do a drive to Mandurah and back to Manjimup dropping off children. Took the opportunity to do grabs along Forrest Hwy then did some along the way which would be difficult towing a camper. Then headed to Donnelly Mill, cool seeing the emus and kangaroos by the General Store.Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds todayThanks to all the COs for the hides I found.
Enjoying our drive around the area and the history lessons as well. Quick find Thanks wandillup wanderer
Today TaurusSix and I are heading down to Bridgetown and staying over night at a quaint B & B. Our geocaching aim is to explore Ballingup, Greenbushes and surrounding areas and the areas surrounding Bridgetown. It is a beautiful winters day , a little bit of fog on the way down through Donnybrook but not frosty and for this time of year it is really quite mild. After a lovely breakfast / brunch at Ballingup we started to collect geocaches. The caches were all placed in the most amazing locations , certainly the types of places we would never visit if it was not for geocaching. We had lots of lovely short walks into the bush where the bird life was prolific . We were also blown away by the scale of mining around Greenbushes. All in all a wonderful day exploring and geocaching and we collected 14 very good quality caches.
This was our second cache find of the day. We are enjoying these back roads around Green bushes. As we neared gz we were a little unsure where to park so ended taking a short stroll to gz. A little surprised to find a spider living in the cache otherwise all good and another great history lesson. Thanks for the cache Wandillup Wanderer.

Was a bit cobwebby, but we still managed to pick it up! Found with Redrobbin25. Tftc
Staying a few nights at Maranup Ford Caravan Park just out of Greenbushes and got a leave pass to head off and do some solo caching about the place.
After checking all the wrong spots I eventually found the container right back where I started.
wandillup wanderer I found your cache at 10:46am, this was the 8th of 14 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 7257. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Our co ords were out a bit but after looking where our gut said to we quickly had it in hand. TFTC
Another great hide, we just love your catches and the history lesson that has been attached to them. Tftc
Hi there wandillup wanderer.
We found your cache **"Eleura School"** at 12:47:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 23815).
We decided to attempt some caches in and around Greenbushes today. We thoroughly enjoyed our drive, walks and the scenery & found 10 caches & DNF'd 1.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends. We awarded this cache a favourite point for the camo.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape, but the camo is really suffering from weathering..
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thank you wandillup wanderer for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

The cache outer container has had white ants feeding on it until it is just a shell but it still good enough for what it's purpose is.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Staying in Bridgetown for the weekend so with 2Clueless in tow we aimed to grab a few more caches in the area we are yet to collect, especially from this CO. This one was found nice and quickly.
Nice camo that blended in well to the surrounds. Thanks for another quality cache.

We are really enjoying the history attached to these caches and also the very creative hides. TFTC have a favourite
Down south on a boys camping trip for a few days, with cravo10 and a couple of muggle mates who have accounts (Rebeljac and Matty333)
Managed to snag a bunch of caches on the way down and back including a few near where we stayed at Big Brook Dam near Manjimup and Pemberton.
Thanks to the local COs for their caches.

Great Camo. Although spoke to the owner of the property. They are changing their fences so it might need to be moved nearby.
On the way to Bridgetown for work and with the kids at their Grandparents Mrs DD2 came for the drive.
We left home early so we could grab some caches on the way down, then Mrs DD2 checked out town while I did a few hours work, then we drove further afield and grabbed some more caches.
Not sure if we'll manage to get all the souvenirs but nice to have some
Wow what a fantastic camo. Had us scratching our heads for a bit but Mrs Dd2 thought outside the box and found the cache
TFTC
Replaced as found

Out on a caching run grabbing a few caches to earn those pesky souvenirs
A lovely day in Bridgetown and surrounds, well once the fog lifted but it did make beautiful views just a hazard when driving on the roads.
Thought cache may have been something else first and nearly got myself all tangled up in the wire there, some of it barb wire.
A great thought out camo for this one. A fav point for thinking outside the box
TFTC and thanks for bringing us here
All caches replaced as found

wandillup wanderer I did not find your cache Eleura School thanks for placing this hide and bringing me to this area. Possibly more luck next time
Found it. Full of water. Log is semi dry but signable. Dried cache out and sealed it up tight. TFTC
Well that was different. The gnome didn't want it. Eventually found. Log sheet dry. Plastic bag wet and container surrounded by white ants. Loved it thanks
pug002 didn't find it. On our trip south to our yearly square dance weekend. Headed off early to do some caching before square dancing events. Found that the grass had been mowed.Found the remains of the solar units but alas not the cache. Had a talk to the friendly cows as we decided to give up. Thanks for the experience wandillup wanderer. However the rest of the day was a success.
Making the short trip from Greenbushes to Boyup Brook and were passing this one so we decided to make the stop. I mistakenely took the solar panels for the lights on the sign to tbe the cache to start with but soon realised my mistake and read the description again and kept looking. I was about ready to give up when I kicked something that looked a bit odd. Very clever but it looks like the large ants like it just as much as they seem to made their home here.
TFTC wandillup wanderer.

great camo the long grass didnt make it any easier dried it out the best we could TFTC
Thanks for the hide. Very cool camo. Nature is helping blend in the hide. The replacement log dry but the original log was wet. Lots of water in the cache tried to dry out but could do with a new log.
After staying over night in Albany it was time to head back to perth but along the way we stopped to grab some caches that we didnt get the last time we were here. Most were found quickly with a few that took a bit of searching. clever cache but it is alive with white ants and the log book was wet. TFTC
More skool for "If" today
Not fair !! It's a long weekend
The cache was a nice easy find roadside
TFTC, easy as ABC !!

I was a very tired little geocacher after all the weekend's celebrations in Albany, but the time had come to make tracks towards home. Had an awesome time, catching up with old friends and making new ones. Decided to make a slight detour and head over this way to see what I could find. Well worth the extra few kms. Found this one today, converting my previous dnf to a lovely smiley. Thanks wandillup wanderer
Have always meant to do this cache so it was a slight detour off the highway while heading down to Denmark for the weekend - and a reprieve from the forecast 40+ deg over the next few days. Nice camo, can see that it could be more of a challenge during other times of the year. Thanks wandillup wanderer.
Cache full, and we mean absolutely FULL of water, but the new log sheet and pencil were dry. Thanks for the cache.
Nice camo. Logbook and contents were destroyed by water so replaced paper & pencil in a new bag. Taken logbook to dry out, and will return to cache owner if wanted. Tftc
A few months back, Granett mentioned that he wanted to try and tackle Top On Hop again. That was all the invitation we needed, and the plans started from there.
jinta29 and I headed down a day early to make the most of the trip and collect lots of smilies and old caches. This one was on the list.
Nice cache here, yet another fave point here.

Log is very soggy.

So clever. Wouldn't have found it without clues from previous logs. See what I did there???
It was with heavy heart that I left Albany this morning. Many thanks to ~Tango~ and Ralph Fine Dog for their hospitality and company along the trails. We had a wonderful time down there, again. But the time had come for me to return home, but not before taking Ralph for one last walk.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to stop for too many caches on the way home, but one cache led to another and the trip ended up taking me about 9 hours all up (twice the normal time). I stopped here, but didn't find the cache. Will just have to come back and try again one day. Thanks anyway wandillup wanderer
