We drove through the opened up boom gates, hoping that they wouldn't close behind us and parked near GZ. After finding a way over the water we headed into the trees and found the cache. Log has seen some water, but is still signable. Thanks for the cache!.
No travelBug cache thrown on grass we replaced it in a better spot where we found it poor condition
Super wet day. We are holidaying in coffs and Kids were very excited to pick up a TB to take back home to continue its journey in a QLD Cache. Unfortunately log was wet and we didn't have any replacement paper. So unable to sign. TFTC
We had a couple of travel bugs that needed to get moving. We knew we would be traveling to Coffs to visit family so we looked for a hotel we might drop them in. This was a perfect place for a cache and to place TB. Our only problem was that we approached this from the wrong side and my husband got his shoes wet.
After my good buddy aussietodde moved back to Australia with his family from Germany many years ago, I finally had the opportunity to visit him with my family. Of course we also had to visit his and another caches in Coffs Harbour.
Of course we stopped by this can and got rid of the Cachemobil not far away. Of course, finding the can together with the owner is not difficult at all and we replaced the logbook, albeit temporarily. Great hideout, nice hotel, just weird that some fellows always have to destroy something like this. As a consolation there is a blue ribbon.

Parked the car nearby and jumped on the bikes with the grand daughter, she spotted this one.

We found this cache while out caching before heading back to our accomodation. Had a great morning finding some great caches throughout Coffs Harbour
Quick find at GZ after crashing into GZ, soaking wet and unsignable, pic attached…
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Aussietodde

We were given a few hours to go caching before Mothers Day lunch today. Still on the lookout for those favourite caches for the challenge, but generally just having fun.
We’ve been glad the weather man was off target so far this weekend, and the weather has been great….
This one presumably got its FPs in a happier time. It’s pretty wrecked now…

Perfect weather for an afternoon to seek out a few caches in Coffs. No guests at the hotel at present.
Hopefully the CO will be able to make a maintenance visit to provide a fresh log and dry out the hotel before their flight arrives!
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** TLC needed with this one to make it habitable again.
Thanks to Aussietodde for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Parked on the side road and found a dry enough gap through the gully. Soon arrived at GZ and found the cache, unfortunately it was full of water and the logbook was saturated, could do with a replacement.
Thanks for the cache

Enter from main road side. Careful because there are BIG RED ANTS. The geoboy got bitten. 2x TBs dropped
1st cache of the day and chippymick dropped off his travel bug as well.

We've been aware of this from driving past previously but slowing down to look for an offroad park isn't the safest option on this busy road. Today we were on a ride along the Hogbin Drive bike/walkway and it was ideal for looking for the cache. Actually we didn't have to look for it, it was clearly visible, but not when we left. A good size cache for TB's though there were none in it today. TFTC Aussietodde.
I parked up, crossed the road and found this one while running a few errands in Coffs today. It was blowing a gale but around GZ in amongst the melaleucas it was quite calm.
I discovered three trackables and collected the Statue of Zeus at Olympia Ancient Wonder.

This one took a little bit of scattering as the gps was jumping around but I soon spotted something that could only be the cache, I picked up 3 trackables to move on and dropped off 4 for others to pick up. The other 2 listed in the cache seem to be missing or not yet logged by someone. Thank you
Yay. A TB Hotel. Love it. Well we checked in 4 TB’s from overseas. Go grab em folks and keep them on the move.
After attending the event in Coffs the afternoon before we are spending the day caching both in and around the area as well as a bit further north. Found an interesting variety of caches and did have just a few DNFs. Thanks to all the COs for enhancing our visit to the area.
Took the long way in for an easy find then spotted the short bush track out!!!

Nice place for a cache. Shame we didn’t find any travel bugs. Couldn’t leave one either:(
Find 634 at 3:40 pm.
Nice and easy park and grab.
Thanks Aussietodde for the cache!
Nice and easy park and grab.
Thanks Aussietodde for the cache!
Appreciated a decent sized cache after most of the caches we attempted in Coffs Harbour over the last day and a half were micros.
Didn't feel safe pulling up to this one on the very busy road so turned in to the back road of the airport.
Mr Beetle waited in the van while I went to GZ. Easier said than done though. The first challenge was to get across the water filled drain. Didn't fancy stepping down in to it as the water in it looked very slimey. Found a pipe that gave me a few more inches and from that I jumped across. Then bush bashed the hard way through hundreds of spiderwebs to GZ only to find a short geotrail to it from the footpath!!!!
Needless to say I walked the nicer way back.
A nice hide , thanks.

We’ve just been on a great adventure covering 5 states in 5 weeks. We picked up this little guy along the way and thought we’d ring him home. We live in a beautiful part of Australia and we are fortunate to be surrounded by water.
I think this little guy has pretty much seen Australia now he’s been here a while. It would be great if someone could take him over the ocean. Farewell.

It’s always a good idea to have a TB Hotel near an airport but unfortunately the Trackables we are carrying are back at our accommodation. Anyway we were happy to find this well themed cache tonight.
Thanks Aussietodde for the TB Hotel placement.

Had enough time to get one on the way to the airport and this was it. In fact I had time for two trips to the airport as I forgot to fuel up the rental car. But I did visit this cache on the first trip and swapped two TBs for three that I will take back south.

Yaaay!! I'm off on my Brisbane trip. Sad to be leaving my lady and her kids. I shall have to cheer myself up with geocaching ...
I've done some pocket queries and some research on the results. I'm trying to meet lots of targets for Professor Rapidly Wild's UGC series at home, so I'm seeking :
Two caches placed in 2000 - One found so far
One cache placed in 2001 - One found so far, target met
119 caches of size "Regular" - Forty-four found counting this one
20 caches of size "Large" - Eleven found so far
One letterbox in Qld - Two found, target met
One letterbox in NSW - One found so far, target met
One cache placed on 18 June of any year - Two found, target met
Any puzzles and multicaches I can reasonably find. (Four puzzle caches, two multi cache)
I've located enough caches to find on this trip on this trip to complete all but the last target. So we'll see how I go.
I'm on my way home. I left two days ago, and stopped in Tweed Heads, then Coffs Harbour. I didn't get a good night's sleep last night, and, after I set off south, I was very quickly getting leaden eyelids. Can't have that, so I came back to Coffs. I've had more coffee, and have decided to spend the day caching near here. This is my fourth today, after the two lookout caches and the letterbox up north a bit. We're back in town now. I seem to be a little more alert now. I parked near this one, unloaded the dogs, walked up the path until I was close to GZ, then went bush. The dogs didn't want to come, so left then on the path tied to a tree. I soon turned up the cache, and so we went back to the car.
Day 1, Monday - 12 in total, including five "Regular" sized caches.
Day 2, Tuesday - 16 in total, including one "Large" and eight "Regular" sized caches
Day 3, Wednesday - 21 in total, including thirteen "Regular" sized caches and one Qld letterbox
Day 4, Thursday - 4 in total, comprising four "Regular" sized caches and one Qld letterbox
Day 5, Friday - one, to keep my streak going.
Day 6, Saturday - one, to keep my streak going.
Day 7, Sunday - one, "Regular", to keep my streak going.
Day 8, Monday - one, to keep my streak going.
Day 9, Tuesday - one, to keep my streak going. Day 324, target 366.
Day 10, Wednesday - 8 in total today, six "Large" and two "Regular"
Day 11, Thursday - 16 in total today, two "Regular", three puzzle, two multi caches.
Day 12, Friday - 5 in total today, two "Large", one placed in 2000, two placed on 18th June.
Day 13, Saturday - 7 in total today, one placed in 2001, two "Large" and five "Regular"
Day 14, Sunday - 11 in total today.
Find no 4 of 11 today.

A quick overnight trip to Coffs Harbour meant I didn’t really have appropriate footwear for the trek to find this cache. But onwards I went. A couple of potential geo-tracks to GZ were clear - I took the wrong one in! The way out was much easier.
Dropped off a TB as the hotel needed an occupant.

Visiting this weekend from Brisbane and heading out to grab some quick caches while there’s a break in the rain. Picked up 2 trackables which we will take back to Brisbane and drop them at a new home shortly. TFTC
Love it. Thanks for the hide. Swapped 2 trackables. Hi n my way to The Gold Coast from Melbourne. Second stop Coffs.
This was my main target for the morning. I had some TBs to drop off. I found so many micros yesterday. Very nice to find a good sized cache here.
Found 17/2/19. Good size cache, haven't seen one this big in a while as most of them are micro or nano. Coords kept jumping around because of tree coverage but found eventually (when I found it GPS said I was 98m from it). TFTC.
Found with lyn999 on a rainy evening. No problems with the cache all is well. Dropped a tb, grabbed a tb. SL tftc!
Found with Bigswifty1 . Sending the ANZAC soldier trackable on his way to Queensland !
while we parked in a safe spot I was wary about jumping the ditch as i'm pretty unco-ordinated but made it across safely. the gps had me wandering to and fro but eventually I made the plunge into the bush and wandered aimlessly in the hope I would stumble across the cache. RFC had chosen to stay on the safe side as she had nearly slipped in the mud without jumping so wasn't about to risk the dry shoes she had on. While I was startling a hare into charging off from under foot she was reading past logs and realised we needed a replacement cache. she was coming the long way round via the bridge when I spotted the cache, grabbed the TB's and the easier cache trail way back out, I think someone else has not logged their find here yet as there was one less TB than we thought and the container was fine when I found it. I eventually realised I'd also removed the log book and its bag thinking it was one of the TB's so headed back into the bush to put it back. Fav point for the adventure today Aussietodde
Found this TB-Hotel 1/4/15 and commented how good it was!! but Today found a very sad and neglected broken cache. I suppose it is safe enough ???? dropped of TB Rebel ---- and took Red Jeep TB and Baby Schlumpf
In town for the annual Sawtell Chilli festival with a handful of TBs and decided on dropping off a few TBs, was hoping to grab a couple for my return trip to Wollongong but everyone had already checked out
dropped TXX5YN The Burkhill Bear and picked up Z5PTRP 3beans. With Suetan and puppies. tftc
Second attempt, found with friends....tftc dropped our own bug, picked up a bug. No pencil or pen and as we didn't have one with us, have added a photo as proof.
Very boggy today but we managed to get there with dry feet. The tiny log in the big box is full so left a new sheet.
1tb in 1 tb out.

The council gardeners were out and about so we moved on and then came back on our way back.

Out caching around Coffs Harbour today, and thought we would grab a couple of caches, & swap a few TBs.
Council was out mowing so we skipped this one to go to the GeeGees and then backtracked to grab this one and see what swabs and TBs were available.
Geowife dropped off her Ellie and we picked up the Big Wheel. It seems the other two TBs are MIA from this cache.

We've come north to escape the miserable Victorian winter, and Coffs Harbour you have certainly not let us down. A week of beautiful sunshine and warmth and some caches thrown in for good measure.
Picked the road less traveled for this one. A mistake as it took longer to get there in the end. The cache is in good condition, but no TB's to be seen.

Nice hide and quick to locate. Thanks for placing this Hotel. We booked 5 rooms for assorted tb's we had from the weekend event. May their journey continue.. sl
Every town needs a TB Hotel, this one was fun, umm lets do the walk not the jump. GPS took a while to talk to us but we got there. TFTC
Visited Koffs Harbour in the afternoon and looked for a TB Hotel to drop of Ezeltje.
This is really a hotel for TBs worth a favorite.

Approached this one from the wrong side and having short legs did not end in my favour. That aside I was quite excited about searching for this cache as I was hoping to get my hands on my first travel bug and I was not disappointed.
Walked straight past the cache, on turning around and having a quick scan there it was.
TB taken and will be on its way to Wollongong. Thanks for the cache
